EDMONTON — A man said he was assaulted Monday after confronting a group for not wearing masks inside a gas station.
Albert Nobbs was at the Petro Canada station at 5110 122 Street NW to get gas and a drink. When he went inside the station he saw a group of five people without masks on.
Currently, people in Alberta older than two years of age are required to wear masks inside all public places, places of worship and indoor workplaces unless they quality for an exception.
“I told them, ‘We’ve been doing this for a year, so what the hell?’” asked Nobbs. “At that point the larger of them came up to me at the cashier and asked me to repeat it, so I did.”
Nobbs said the man confronting him pulled out a phone, but he batted it out of the man’s hand.
“I got a hit to the temple, I went down… like a lead balloon, not exactly proud of it… and then I got hit again, and again, and again.”
Nobbs said the man who attacked him threatened to have Nobbs charged with assault before leaving the store. Police said they responded to the assault report around 2:30 p.m. and that the group fled the scene before they arrived.
“The (ambulance) techs actually thanked me… for saying something,” said Nobbs. “I don’t want to actually have to tell people to take care of other people, or to at least not put them in harms way, but we have this environment now where pride and ignorance lets you justify anything.”
He said he has bruises on his face, arms and back from the assault.
Nobbs said he would be willing to confront people again in the future, because, “If you’re in a situation where you have the ability to affect change in a positive way, you’re morally obligated to do so.
“This shouldn’t be up to me, this shouldn’t be up to the staff of this shop to explain to the privileged masses that these little things that we’re doing protect the live of people who don’t really have a choice but to work to survive and it’s inhuman to suggest otherwise.”
EPS is currently investigating the incident.

Masks don’t work. That’s what the CDC said at the beginning of the “pandemic”, and all the evidence to date proves that they were correct.
Their resent published research also says they don’t work, and then they intentionally obfuscated that. There was never any reasonable hypothesis that the masks would work for that purpose. Nobody is going to fund such a study, because it is not reasonable and the ethical issues would be considerable. The data analysis of the open air experiment conclusively proved they don’t work.

Nice that the police can find time to investigate an assault he was the cause of…meanwhile the RCMP is closing churches without warrants or formal charges, their officers refuse to identify themselves and law enforcement won’t enforce existing law that clearly states what the RCMP is doing to the church is against the law.

Last couple days a work crew has been here installing natural gas in the neighbourhood. No crew members wearing masks. Several of the crew are fully awake to whats happening and were relieved to see myself and a couple other neighbours all on the same page.
More business owners are starting to say enough is enough. There are fewer karens like this dishrag in the article. I encourage all I talk to, to take a stand, get some backbone and not comply with these illegal edicts. Its happening… but slowly we are gaining ground. I suspect that the government will see it losing ground and seek to apply a stronger hand to quash the resistance. We’ll see.
I have some questions for dr Fauci. When you announced in March of 2020 that it was not necessary for normal people to wear masks, did you research the scientific literature? If you didn’t, why didn’t you. If you did, what were the results of that research? Please provide references. When you later announced that everyone should be wearing masks all the time did you have research to support that decision? Again, please provide references. When you announced that everyone should be wearing two masks, was that supported by scientific data?References please. You are not a scientist but a blow hard who makes thing up to suit the political agenda. By the way, what happened to the HIV vaccine you announced in 1999 that you said would be available within a year? More blow hard science?

He did research it and that is why he knows that masks cannot stop a virus. He co authored a paper in 2008 or 2009 that was about the Spanish flu and how masks caused more deaths than the flu because of bacterial pneumonia as a result of the buildup of crap in the masks, from constantly rebreathing that which should have been expelled from the body.

The punchable face apparently isn’t aware of the fact that having a beard completely invalidates the purpose of mask wearing since the facial hairs prevent a tight seal from forming around the mask. That’s true for half-mask respirators (which, if anyone were really taking this seriously and such respirators were effective in stopping viral contagion, everyone would be wearing).
But, it doesn’t apply to ear-loop surgical masks and cloth masks … because there’s no way to get an actual seal with such masks.
I mean, there’s a 1/8″ to 1″ gap when wearing these masks, no matter how snug they are or how clean-shaven one is.

I just left a long time client. We talked briefly about the mask. She didn’t mind if I didn’t wear a mask so, I decided to open the conversation. She said she can agree to disagree with me but she said she follows the science. I thought the science says everyone should wear a mask but she didn’t mind that I wasn’t wearing one? LOL.
