MURPHY & HIS GESTAPO TRYING TO DESTROY THE SHAMROCK

Murphy once compared Trump to Hitler. But if you call him a fascist? He suggests you're trivializing the Holocaust » Wildwood bar owners push for extended operating hours as city commissioners weigh the risks | Local News | pressofatlanticcity.com

We have plans to head to Wildwood next weekend for the first time since last September. We were looking forward to visiting our favorite bar – The Shamrock – where I’ve documented many fascinating evenings. I consider it our Cheers, where everyone knows each other and the cast of characters are humorous and fun.

We’ve seen marriage proposals on Billy Jack’s bar stage. We’ve seen bride, groom and wedding party partying after hours at the Shamrock. I’ve seen girls fall backwards of their bar stool because they were so drunk. Avalon convinced one of the Monster Truck drivers to take a chance and go out with a girl from Atlantic City when he lived in the Poconos. We saw them again the following year at the Shammy where they thanked Avalon, because they were happily married.

The Shamrock - Café

Jack the bartender is an institution. But Billy Jack has been the main draw for the last two decades of our frequenting the Shamrock. He can play virtually any song you request. He’s a crotchety old guy who has the same views as most of the TBPers. He always greets us from his stage when we show up and tells everyone to read my blog. He always puts on a great show.

But we’ve heard some extremely disconcerting news about the future of the Shamrock. The owner is always there on weekend nights greeting patrons. He has done a great job upgrading the place, except for the men’s room piss trowel. He bought the place next door and fixed it up real nice. He built a new outdoor bar area, which helped them survive this Covid bullshit, where Murphy imposed ridiculous restrictions on bars and restaurants.

SHAMROCK BEEF & ALE - 91 Photos & 21 Reviews - American (New) - 3700 Pacific Ave, Wildwood, NJ - Restaurant Reviews - Phone Number - Menu From what we’ve heard, the state will be shutting down the Shamrock after this weekend. Murphy’s state police gestapo found time in their busy days destroying Atilis Gym to now destroy the Shamrock. Their undercover agents/assholes evidently found multiple violations of social distancing at the Shamrock and are revoking their liquor license. Supposedly, they will be shut for the entire summer. If this is true, the owner will probably go bankrupt.

FUCK GOV MURPHY face mask Fuck Murphy Face Covering | Etsy

What the fuck is dictator Murphy and his state police lackeys think they are accomplishing by destroying businesses that generate tons of taxes for the state. Murphy is a puny little man who murdered senior citizens by putting Covid patients into nursing homes. Him, Cuomo, Newsom and Whitmer are all scumbags who mismanaged this plandemic on an epic scale. I hope the owner of the Shamrock can take some legal action to stop Murphy, but that fascist and his unlimited state resources can do what they wish. Fuck Murphy for destroying a Wildwood institution.

Other than my 30 Blocks of Squalor series of articles, I’ve probably written more articles about the Shamrock and Wildwood than any other subject. For those who are new to TBP, here are a few for your perusal.

The destruction of many institutions as well as freedoms are happening all around us. I am getting worn out just trying to keep up with the latest atrocity. Yunz should check out Wilder’s latest entitled “Never give up,” it is a good read and reminder of what we are fighting for.

So sad. So many small businesses like this will never come back. Up here in the north-central speakeasies are a thing again for the 1st time since prohibition. Even though Tiny Tom so graciously only took half of their business, many could not keep the doors open otherwise.

They want our guns so we become even more compliant. Like the Aussies who gave up their guns and now the police state doesn’t feel threatened at all. Already it is starting in the US when they feel they can physically assault people for non-compliance.*

Happy to have escaped the People’s Republic of NJ a few months ago. Now a happy FL resident, where I’m free to go where I please, when I please, and how I please. NJ was a great place to grow up and I have an endless supply of fond memories, but time to GTFO if you have any sense.

Your Shamrock & 30 Blocks articles were always something I looked forward to with great joy.

I think it was brian who suggested that if all churches banded together and disobeyed the gooberment, that there wouldn’t be a damned thing the Gestapo could do about it.

Why isn’t that also true for business owners? Why won’t they band together for a big FUCK YOU!! I guess maybe cuz nobody wants to be first.

I hate, loathe, despise this SHITHOLE state with every cell in my body.

Every small business owner is going to have to figure out how to survive. They should have gotten a crash course in 2008. I know lots of people who got through that one in lots of different ways. We’ve been lucky in Florida this time around. Look at that picture of DeSantis above. He’s eating in a mall or something there’s only one mask in the picture. We are over it here. Jim, you are training your ire on Murphy. That’s exactly the right place. I hope you run into him sometime dining out.

I didn’t say they weren’t fucked. I know plenty of people who did extraordinary things to save their business in 08. Some went millions of dollars in debt, I know a guy who moved his family out of the country to Ecuador, and negotiated with his creditors from there. If I owned a bar, I would mortgage everything I had and just pay the mortgage or the rent, whatever. I would be on the phone every single day talking to whoever I was paying, trying to renegotiate the mortgage or the lease. Remember, they are in deep shit too. They will take any deal that is halfway reasonable. Something is better than nothing. If they let you open outside and that helps a little bit, do that. Whatever it takes to not go under. Very hard to rebuild something from scratch. Nobody wants to go backwards, but a lot of times that’s the best way forward. Don’t fold. Fight. Wealth is good. Cash flow is better. The numbers on even a little seasonal place like that are probably insane. It’s worth preserving, even at great cost. If you can save your cash cow, even if you don’t know when it gets to come back, you’ll probably be better off.

There’s no “maybe” about it. People are being killed financially.
The State shouldn’t have the authority to take away someone’s sole source of income as it’s literally committing financial terrorism and violating property rights ex post facto in this case.
The mask and distancing laws are BS and killing small businesses that generally have small margins.
Murphy is a billionaire bastard and will deserve every dollar loss he loses in the next financial meltdown. An eye for an eye would be small justice for his kind.

Chattel. Serfs. Indentured servants.

When we return to an economy of feudalism that system won’t last long. The idiots in charge will figuratively kill the golden goose that laid eggs for them by removing a lot of skilled jobs from the economy. They don’t realize many of the mid-level government jobs and pensions will go the way of the dodo bird forcing a reduction in the government because no one can pay their taxes.

Even when we go to doctor’s appointments in St. Louis, we go to the appointment and leave quietly. I wouldn’t go downtown St. Louis for anything right now. I think the homicide rate has doubled there this year.

You can’t have people just getting together and talking, can you?

The only way out of this is civil disobedience on a mass scale; parallel institutions that grow up in the cracks of the State as it fractures under the weight of its own self-importance.

This won’t last forever, but until people stop appealing to the State to remedy its own overreach, nothing can be resolved.

Hardscrabble, I never commented on your last piece, and I really really wanted to. That was a really good one. Lots of it struck a chord with me. We live quite dissimilar lives, yet the parallels are amazing. Every time I had a comment written that I liked, I would re-read it, and decide that it didn’t add anything of value. I was just re-writing some of your observations seen through my eyes, in my world. I did not want to detract from what you had written. I never came up with anything I was satisfied with. So let me just say, nice work.

The overreach is not even political, it is to provide the funds for whoever is in power at the time to continue operating.
I have seen no reduction in personel but a complete lack of services such as getting a building permit. In this case everybody is at work in the office but one can not get in to see them. It reminds me of the scene in Catch-22 about trying to see Major Major Major Major. Can not build a project because you don’t have a permit, but can not see anybody to get the permit. Got an apointment for June 3. Services are only going to fall.

Just a bit of information for the state I live in but most likely occuring everywhere. Getting a farm number registered (which has different things of value such as tax exemptions and waivering certain building requirements as mentioned above) are basically ended. This registration is on a national level through the USDA. The GAP Farm requirements are exploding, this will mean a tightning of who can and who cannot produce and legally sell certain crops. There are huge movements for more EPA requirements on who actually owns the water on one’s property, while foreign vegetables are having most restrictions removed to allow for import. Thankfully I have a number from about thirty years ago.

The landowner tags for both turkey and deer were limited to “one” each with firearm and bow.

Three years ago, we had so many landowner tags we had cousins up to hunt and take meat home! And, we had to “register” our land and provide names of hunters with permission.

Is that bullshit?

No more bullshit than USDA employees carrying weapons when they come to visit unexpected to make sure a bird did not fly over and poop on your apples. Seriously, bird poop, snake poop, even poop slinging monkeys are going to be a terrible problem in the near future, according to them, especially on apples they explained. Some little New Jersey kid might get sick with an upset stomach or something. They can shut you down and bankrupt you for that.
Of course did not explain how apples grow in trees and birds like to sit and sing and occasionally poop in trees.

Here in NJ if you replace your AC unit, furnace, or water heater it has to be inspected by the township’s property ordinance inspectors who have the power to levy fines much as a city policeman. They don’t issue warrants for your arrest but can have you arrested and fined for something as mundane as refusing to comply with an inspection for improving your own property.

I had contractors do an HVAC job along with removing and installing a new water heater. They didn’t send the required two copies of their work to the city and I was threatened with fines – not once, but twice simply because the contractor couldn’t get the paperwork done.
When the inspectors showed up it took less than 5 minutes to visually find the units. The second idiot kept his vehicle running in my driveway and couldn’t wait to get somewhere else, so much so he even forgot I had three things to inspect. He only looked at two, and even then, spent 30 seconds on the property.
One other time I’d literally been home 20 minutes after a pine branch had fallen on the sidewalk due to a heavy snow to find the Ordinance Nazis had placed no less than TWO citations for “blocking and failing to clear a public walkway”. Now I despise pine trees, pine needles, vampire ordinance dickheads, and NJ in general.

There’s more to hate but I won’t bore you with that. The basic message is even if you have a house in NJ, you’re not the primary owner. The bank and the township really own the property and you are a tenant with a deed.

Every small child understands on an instinctive level what to do when the deck is stacked against you, and you are playing with cheaters. You simply refuse to play any longer. Somehow as adults we seem to forget that as we get older.
When the government fails to represent your best interests, you simply stop supporting the government in any way shape or form. If you are a conservative living in a liberal State, just leave. There are still a few conservative states left, and we need you conservative voice to add to ours. When elections are stolen, you refuse to vote. You write articles about how the US is no longer a free and democratic country and how our government is now tyrants and criminals.
You focus on becoming independent to the best of your abilities, and refuse to do business with companies who do not support traditional American values.
If you are truly fed up, and ready to change, then simply withdraw from the system, throw away your cell phone, stop watching any main stream media, grow as much of your own food as you can, stop borrowing money from banks, and realize you really do not need any of the things that they are offering you in return for your freedom and dignity.

I’ve lived here for almost fifteen year and have regretted every day of the Nanny State abuse for the “privilege” of living in the Garbage State. I’m not originally from NJ and every day brings that fact to a painful realization that someday, my family will escape elsewhere.
Texas would be nice. At least I could put up a passable legal defense for shooting the rude sonsabitches.

The people may not agree with the Party. And then what? A complete anarchy! This is worse than the Nazi party because of reasons: eh..ok..forget the reasons, we don’t need a reason for any intelligent shee..person to understand why this may be.
Of course they are going after someone that creates a community. These people may not be the first to enjoy the heavy(but just) hand of the government but they have to go. What would the Americans, the government loving citizens ever do without said government? They would be lost and more importantly they cannot be protected by the government so they are unsafe. The government first (after God, family, community) is the safest bet anyone can make. What is freedom if not another way to say “slavery”?
