I’ve sent JC a question and hopefully he will pop onto the thread and answer my question in a way that explains why it is important to actually understand what is science and what is just social science masquerading as science.
JC has several very good videos on his website… all of it is accessible without subscription but if you can buy him a cup of coffee or pay a few dollars for bicycle maintenance, he appreciates it.

I’m enjoying his stuff as well, seems like a very nice guy and is obviously sincere.
My problem with his approach is that he is an acolyte of Science! and therefore believes a lot of things that are clearly theoretical rather than factual. Scientists who are down with The Narrative in their chosen field cannot accept that the premises may be mistaken, it never enters their mind. Whenever something comes up that threatens it, their first course of action is to dismiss it out of hand.
The world is far more complex than humans are capable of fully understanding, that much I am sure of. There are not going to be answers to all of the questions, regardless of how hard you look for them, especially if you discount certain possibilities outright (like God, for example) in favor of the “scientific” approach.
He’s way more easy on the ears than he was on the bike ride stream of consciousness podcasts, I think he’s found his voice and isn’t as reactive as he was back then.
