I think we should dedicate this week’s Friday Fail to one of the world’s consummate failures, New South Wales’ ex-dictator Gladys Berejiklian. She was forced to resign today for the high crime of fucking an underling. It’s noteworthy that she wasn’t forced to resign for the minor crime against humanity of fucking an entire population; steal everyone’s God-given rights and annihilate democracy . . . fine, but don’t you dare have an illicit affair! Have you no morals? (By which the sinister buggers really mean: have as many illicit affairs as you please, just don’t get caught lest we have to dump you and go to the trouble of grooming another malevolent dictator.)
And a dishonourable FF mention goes to the entire continent of Europe for their precipitate abandonment of nuclear and fossils fuels and premature launch into a green energy world decades before the technology is ready, thereby risking thousands of people freezing to death this coming winter and many more starving to death next spring. Too bad all the deaths will be among the poor and defenseless, while the morons who brought on this calamity snuggle warmly with fat bellies in their mansions. Putin’s really enjoying his popcorn now.
But despair not, FF aficionados, for someday the entire evil cabal will be overly warm basking in the fires of hell. In the meantime let us all snicker at the stupidity and appalling ethical failings of our so-called betters as they fall from grace one by one, while we enjoy FF!
