A New Answer to “Is the Pope Catholic?”

Via Gen Z Conservative

It used to be a given that the Pope was Catholic. Whatever the predilections of the clergymen, greed of the Medieval popes, or horrific nature of the clergy’s predations on children, the pope himself was always ostensibly Catholic. Like Catholic mafia dons, the Medici popes and others of rapacious or lecherous heart might have been incessant sinners, but they never publicly dismissed Catholic orthodoxy, especially not in modern times.

Now the left has destroyed even that and we have a whole new answer to “is the pope Catholic?” Why?

Well, you see, Francis the Pinko Pope decided that now was the time to meet with Nancy Pelosi, a virulent defender of “abortion rights” who just last month ushered HR 3755, which would, according to LiveAction.org:

“eliminate virtually all protections of preborn children, including those that protect preborn babies at late stages of pregnancy. Even when the child has reached viability — the point at which a child is able to live independently outside the womb — HR 3755 would still allow for that fully developed child to be killed in abortion.

Additionally, pro-life Members noted that, under the deceptive name of “Women’s Health,” the bill would override many state protections aimed at protecting children once they are able to survive outside the womb. Because the bill would legalize abortion for virtually any reason, states would also not be able to protect children from sex-selective abortion or protect babies targeted for abortion following the diagnosis of a condition such as Down syndrome.”

According to Catholic doctrine, “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life” and “Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life.

Other Catholic clergy slammed Pelosi’s abortion bill. Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, for example, called for a “massive and visible campaign of prayer and fasting” and slammed the bill as imposing “abortion on demand nationwide at any stage of pregnancy.

They, actually believing the catechisms of their faith, decided to stand against the bill rather than go along with leftist orthodoxy.

Not so for “Pope” Francis.

Pope Francis, publicly and openly standing against the faith he’s supposed to represent, said the decision about granting Communion to elected officials who support abortion rights should be made from a pastoral point of view, not a political one.

While real Catholics such as Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone slam the bill as a “child sacrifice” measure, “His Holiness,” the pinko Pope, has decided to collaborate with those making the murder of children even easier.

It would have been one thing if Francis met with Pelosi to discuss the abortion bill and push back against it, using his influence, power, and (former) prestige to show why no Catholic should support such a heinous statute. That, far from being condemnable, would have been quite commendable!

But no, he didn’t. Their meeting was about “climate change.” His Holiness, the pinko Pope, is more worried about the angry sun monster than he is about the murder of the unborn.

So now you have a new answer to the classic “is the pope Catholic?” question. As with Slow Joe, the answer is no.

Well, that’s a good START.

The history of papacy is an UGLY one. Some of the most vile and corrupt humans imaginable became Popes.

How the Catholic Church for almost 2000 years survived these monsters is a Great Mystery to me.

The Catholic i.e. Christian church built with the lifeblood of martyrs and brave Christians daring to stand against death, survived 2,000 years because the Pope is not the church.
And while the Catholic church has survived 2,000 years, the Satanic rot in the Protestant churches have barely survived 500. The Protestant reformation wasn’t an attack on church corruption as much as it was an attack on the Christian church.
The Purtians i.e. Judaizers ( Protestants) infected the faith and have nearly destroyed Christianity in the modern world.
The Western world was a more cultured, civilized society when the Catholic church with it’s irrevocable dogma reigned over everything spiritual while the state concerned itself with secular matters. This truth can’t be denied.

And then there’s this.

There is still a lot wrong with the Protestants but at least they took a big step in the right direction. The SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) is right now dealing with a huge sex scandal and if their Executive Committee doesn’t finally vote for full disclosure (not hide behind rules like a bunch of Jewish Lawyers or Vatican Priests), then the Southern Baptist should throw them out like the filthy trash they are and start over with known Righteous Leaders at the top. PS: Abortion from day one is Murder to God.

While the church is the Christian collective, God does not offer salvation to the church , only to the individual, which is why I look at church history though a historical eye and not one of necessary salvation.

The Catholic Church built Western civilization with all it’s beauty, values and traditions which after the Protestant reformation and the massive disunity brought about by every charlatan clergyman mad for personal power began his own form of Christ worship. We now call these various 22, 000 separate entities denominations.
Protestant have dome nothing but divide Christians through their grand revelations and self-confessed “anointments” of God calling them to preach.

The Catholic church via 1500 years of sacrifice of life, security and treasure made Protestantism possible and the thousands of Lutheran spinoffs have done nothing since but tear it down, brick by brick.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FB1Ob4bWUAs_0a7?format=jpg&name=small

Catholic liberators via risk of death and deprivation once made it possible for all men to worship Christ in safety and in public, while Protestants of today sit back on their fat soyboy asses waiting for the rapture to save them from dangerous sin.

Catholics worship the Queen of Heaven, just as Semiramis in Babylon did. That’s idolatry in its purest form.

The Catholic church, one of the wealthiest institutions on the face of the planet, ostensibly serves the God Who commanded His children not to lay up treasures upon earth.

The Protestant reformation wasn’t an attack on church corruption as much as it was an attack on the Christian church.

You would think the Protestant heretics would have been forced to acknowledge that while the Inquisitors drowned them, broke them on the wheel, skinned them alive, crushed them under heavy weights, threw them from the high places, drew and quartered them, and burnt them alive.

Such heretical stubbornness!

What was that you were saying about civilized elegance again?

The dread Inquisition was mostly getting the Muslims (and their Jewish collaborators) kicked the fuck out of Spain after 8 centuries. Don’t argue with success. It was seized upon by orangemen in northern Europe who’d had virtually no interaction with the Inquisition and who created a mythology out of it to justify their founders’ rebellion. A rebellion foretold in Jude, verse 11, which refers to Numbers Chapter 16. God sent Korah to Sheol for usurping the legitimate priesthood. It wasn’t that the Levitical priesthood didn’t deserve to be rebelled against! Aaron himself had already made the golden calf and led the people into idolatry. His legitimacy didn’t depend upon impeccability – which Jesus explained in Matthew 23:2-3: “The scribes and the Pharisees have taken their seat on the chair of Moses. Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice.”

Almost all of the English speaking world has had its history written by Protestants. Consider that when assessing what you think you know. And of course, 1 Cor 12:3: “No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ but by the Holy Spirit.”

This is the kind of staggering untruth one normally associates with claims of Scientology or … Or… I cant even think of examples to properly illustrate the breathtaking, all-encompassing Wrongness of this assertion.

“The dread War Between the States was mostly getting the Munchkins ( and their Cylon collaborators) kicked out of Lemuria after 8 centuries. ”

I agree with him on the Spanish Inquisition and its primary purpose, but they did go to excess, because the practice is corrupt. There were other inquisitions that targeted real Christians as well as others the Church/State deemed deviants, including actual dangerous deviants, which always confuses the histories.

The holy roman catholic church is the religious beast of Revelations. Maybe?

Stucky
Stucky

IMHO … it does not.

If one is of the opinion … as is mine … that Scripture must be applicable to, and understood, by the people alive at the time, then it is unlikely since the Catholic Church wasn’t established until about a few hundred years AFTER Revelation was written.

I understand the theological objections … the duel nature of prophecy, meaning both near (now) and distant (future) … as well as the biblical description of the city on “seven hills” (which does sound like Rome), and so forth.

As ALWAYS, conclusions are often made based on HOW a reader believes End Times literature should be interpreted. For example, those who fall under the category of “Futurists” will strongly disagree with me … “Of course the Catholic Church is the Beast, ya moran!”

That’s ok, I luvs ’em anyway. It’s not like anyone’s Salvation depends on getting the “right” answer.

The rapture: A concept foreign to all of the apostolic churches, Catholic, Orthodox and Coptic. I love the fervor of my Protestant brethren (better than being lukewarm, cf Rev 3:16), but some of the “old time religion” was formulated within the last 1/8th of Christendom.

That being said, I’d be fine with a rapture and overjoyed to be caught up in the air, if that’s the way it’s going to unfold.

THE DATE OF THE APOCALYPSE1

The consensus among twentieth-century scholars is that the Apocalypse was written
during the reign of Domitian around 95 A.D. A minority of commentators have dated it
immediately prior to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

The difference of dating could alter the interpretation of the book, since the occasion
prompting John to write might be different in each case. The early date is especially
important for those viewing the main intention of the book as prophecy of the imminent
destruction of Jerusalem: interpreters who hold to the early date generally understand the
book primarily as a polemic against apostate Jewish faith. And the early date places many
of the book’s descriptions of persecution against the background of Nero’s oppression of
Christians in 65.

But if the book was written in the nineties, then it was occasioned by the situation of
Christians living under the reign of Domitian, a situation that itself is an issue of debate.
The majority maintaining a late date have viewed Domitian as a persecutor of Christians,
though a few others recently have viewed his reign in more benevolent terms.
One can in fact affirm the early date or the late date without the main interpretative
approach being affected. Under either dating position the book could be understood as a
polemic against Rome and especially against compromise with ungodly Roman culture.
The early date allows for an anti-Jerusalem focus but does not demand it.

There are no single arguments that point clearly to the early or the late date. The early
date could be right, but the cumulative weight of evidence points to the late date. The
following discussion surveys only key areas of evidence
