Honestly, “Old Man Yells at Cloud” feels like me, except that “cloud” is “crowd” – the huge contingent of Americans who are caught up in mass neurosis.
I’m trying to decide what greeting to give tomorrow to libs for their new scared holiday. I’m thinking “Merry ‘Our Democracy’ Day”. I assume we’ll soon see re-enactments in the public square, with angelic Capitol Police being bludgeoned to death with fire extinguishers and Father Christmas being played by Ray Epps. Or Ray Epps being played – MAGA hat and all – by a local deacon of the church of diversity inclusion and equity. “We must go into the capitol” intones the deacon solemnly. “We must go into the capitol” reply the parishioners.
Let him lie and cheer for the covidistas. We’ve seen what he’s done for the election candidates he tried to back. Kiss of death. It’s pretty bad when you are a disgrace even among politicians.
I would call it a pandemic of the ignorant.
