For fans of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune, one thing you’ve never seen or read about is friction between host Pat Sajak and hostess Vanna White. Not only are the two on good terms, they’ve been close friends for over 40 years in an industry that is notorious for its backstabbing and internal squabbles.
But that’s not stopping the woke mob from coming after Sajak for a harmless joshing he gave to White the other day.
For those who haven’t seen it, the duo tends to end each show with friendly banter after the completion of the competition. On Wednesday’s show, an opera singer was the winning contestant bringing in quite a haul, and the back-and-forth between White and Sajak focused on the contestant’s occupation.
Here is a video of the exchange, but first, a trigger warning: If you’re a leftist with nothing better to do and looking for something to be offended by, you might be able to find something in Sajak’s comment… if you try hard enough:
Pat: “Are you an opera buff, at all?”
Vanna: “I’m not a buff, but I like opera.”
Pat: “Have you ever watched opera in the buff?”
Not surprisingly, and what’s become a sign of the times, within minutes of the show’s conclusion, the attacks on Sajak began to pour in. Here are just a few of the examples:
- “I feel like I just witnessed a #metoo moment on @WheelofFortune?”
- “I was tired of Pat’s s–t then, and I’m tired of Pat’s s–t now.” Referring to something Sajak had said in the 1980s
- “@WheelofFortunesomeone please replace this man. @patsajak is absolutely inappropriate asking @TheVannaWhite if she’s watched opera naked? Are you serious? Gross.”
Compounding the situation for Sajak is the fact that he’s white, outspoken, and conservative. Combine all those factors and Pat Sajak becomes a prime target for cancel culture.
But Sajak should stand his ground. Don’t apologize, don’t give in. What he said was meant to be funny and was wholly innocuous.
Dave Chappelle provided the blueprint for how to deal with cancel culture after the uproar caused by his Netflix special last year. Chappelle didn’t apologize, but he did explain himself, and most importantly he went on the offensive and called out cancel culture directly. That’s what Sajak’s approach should be if the pressure mounts.
The list of stars who’ve been canceled despite prostrating themselves at the altar of wokeness is a long one. Chrissy Teigen apologized for tweets that had happened years before, she still got canceled. Kevin Hart apologized for jokes he’d made in his past, and he is a comedian after all, but he was canceled as well. Gilbert Gottfried, who died just this past week, apologized profusely for making an ill-advised joke, and his career was destroyed.
So, what’s the moral of the story? Push back on the woke mob and take a stand.

Absolutely ridiculous. It’s sad & sickening when NORMAL HETEROSEXUAL behavior is offensive, yet our culture is saturated with fag, dyke, & tranny behavior that’s shoved down our throats on a daily basis.
I feel sorry for normal men. I really do.
I also feel sorry for women too.
Normal women? Yes, me too.
If one searches constantly for anything to offend one,
One will be offended constantly.
Karen Nation.
What a truly pathetic way exist.
Trannies and fags everywhere you go. Yet Pat is supposed to be canceled for such an innocuous comment. Sign of the times.
Watched him for all these years and him and Vanna go back and forth and annoy each other constantly. You can tell they are good friends, they say stuff that only friends could get away with. Tell those woke a**holes to get a life!
The correct answer is —> “fingers and toes”
The black guy guessed (really!) —> “miners and hoes”. Dats some funny shit right there.
In the old “Newly Wed Game” a black husband was asked,
“Where is the weirdest place you and your wife made whoopie?”
His answer?
“In the butt.”
Google it if you doubt.
Actually it was “in the butt, bob”. And, I think it was a white couple, please correct if it wasn’t.
BTW, Bob Eubanks was an INTERESTING man. Promoted a nearly disastrous Beatles concert, was a big time LA DJ, and, believe it or not, was Merle Haggard’s manager for years. His bio is worth the read.
I think it was a black couple come to think about it. I remember it from actually seeing it as a kid.
We need a Smudge meme here, where bawling Karen is pointing and screaming:
“Luck Be In The Air Tonight”, yet
Smudge retorts: “You’re so anal.”
And Vanna still looks good.
Guaranteed, the ones who objected and are calling for Pat to be canned, are most likely miserable, fugly large Marge’s hauling big ass barges around the house that have their cats all skeered.
Vanna’s a good ‘ol Myrtle Beach girl.
If’n a female had made that comment to Vanna, well then, that be alright.
The banter we ALL engaged in during the 60, 70, 80s was intentionally gross and EVERYBODY loved it and joined in. It make work fly by and almost everybody was happy.
Now, eye contact is verboten. How sad.
Please. Vanna White posed in the nude for Playboy.
Pics or or it didn’t happen. Still a looker.
Google is NOT your friend but can be useful on odd occasions
She never willingly posed in the nude for Playboy. You’re full of shit.
Early in her modeling career, she was short on cash to pay the bills, and did some nude shots for a photographer, before she became famous, who unscrupulously ended up selling them to Hugh Hefner, after she was widely known. Hefner, who rumor has it, was one shade removed from J. Edgar Hoover with his blackmailing abilities at the mansion.
Vanna begged Hefner not to run the photos, but he ran them anyway.
She was beautiful then, and is beautiful now. She has integrity. Look it up.
Let’s have a look in your closet, Jr. and see what kind of regretful skeletons we can dig up.
Actually she did not pose for Playboy, but did for a freelance photographer who sold them to Playboy after she became famous. She tried to stop the publication, but had signed a waiver. Young naive and naked.
The show is not live, it’s not uncensored. Everthing on it is Approved™ and all controversy is engineered.
On a side note, the international versions of the show are super gay. As in Homo Sexual Propaganda. You will have no TV, and you will be happy.
