The Rise in Violence – Who to Blame?

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

While the Texas school shooting is a politician’s dream, for they suddenly can pretend to care and look authoritative, the real culprit here, I fear, has been the COVID-19 lockdowns. What government will not talk about is the statistics. Homicides increased by nearly 30 percent in 2020. Overall, violence and aggravated assaults have increased.

The homicide rates normally increase in the summer months. The real culprit may be the additional social interaction that happens when people spend more time outdoors during the summer months, NewsNation reports. There’s simply a greater number of interactions happening, which means there are also more opportunities for them to go awry.

Everywhere we look, homicides are up. In Chicago, 228 people have been killed this year alone. In Philadelphia, over 200 homicides have already taken place in 2022. Houston exceeded 100 homicides so far in 2022.

The National Library of Medicine reported a drastic increase in homicides post-lockdowns in Peru. Even CNN reported that a series of homicides took place during the first six months of  2021. In 22 cities, the number of murders increased by 16% or greater compared to the same period in 2020 and by 42% compared to the first six months of 2019.

So while the elites are listening to Klaus Schwab, who will probably become an evil villain for a future movie, there is ZERO understanding of human nature. The sharp rise in homicides is NOT because of guns; lockdowns have driven many to extreme behavior and stress. There was a man killed over an argument involving a parking spot. I have a friend who worked in an office in Philadelphia. The violence is so great and random that the staff no longer need to go into the office.

Monkeypox is less deadly than smallpox, with a mortality rate below 4 percent. Nevertheless, there are those in governments actually talking about lockdown 2.0. Johns Hopkins University reported, “Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis. The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, said a broad review of multiple scientific studies. We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,” the researchers wrote.

I can say that I was tested for COVID-19 five times, and all were negative. I was still thrown into a COVID wing in the hospital, and when I explained I knew nobody with COVID, I was told that it did not matter. The nurses said it could travel in the air or I could have contracted it from pumping gas into my car. So I asked, “Do masks do not work?” They said, “Pretty much.” I asked why I needed TWO negative tests to be released. “Does one test not work?” They admitted that the tests were invalid. So after FIVE negative tests, they said, “OK, but we still think you had it.”

Another friend said his son in his early 20s is lost. Since the lockdowns, he stayed in his room, glued to social media. He will no longer have a conversation with his father. These lockdowns not only FAILED to work, but they appear to have caused significant damage psychologically to many, and the stress appears to have manifested in violence. It is time we face the fact that guns do not kill — people do. We need to respect what is taking place and stop the experiments for political power. Our computer’s forecast of a rise in civil unrest is manifesting before our very eyes.

Something is terribly wrong in America, and we all know it. The depth of that wrongness was front and center again on May 24th when a barely 18-year-old man shot his grandmother in the forehead, then proceeded to an elementary school in his hometown of Uvalde, Texas, and began shooting there.

You know the result—at least 19 children and 2 teachers dead, another 17 people wounded. The children were young… heartbreakingly young. Something is terribly wrong in America, and we all know it.

Nine days before Uvalde, a different 18-year-old attacked a supermarket in Buffalo, killing 10 and injuring 3 others. By his own admission, the shooter came to Buffalo targeting Black people for no other reason than the color of their skin. A day later, a man attacked a church in Orange County, California. A young doctor in the room gave his life to stop what would otherwise have been another mass casualty event. According to the Gun Violence Archive, there have already been more than 200 mass shootings in the United States so far in 2022.

With this new tide of evil engulfing the land, many are calling for increased gun control. But with evil engulfing the land, we must be careful not to strip law-abiding citizens of their ability to defend themselves. There is no magic, legislative fix.

The day after the shooting, Texas Governor Greg Abbott held a press conference. A reporter asked about the shooter’s ability to legally purchase two rifles just days after his eighteenth birthday. The Governor said, “The ability of an 18-year-old to buy a long gun has been in place in the State of Texas for more than 60 years…. Why is it that for the majority of those 60 years, we did not have school shootings, and why is it that we do have them now?”

That’s what we should all be asking. What has changed?

The Governor said that in his discussions with local leaders, he kept hearing about the mental health challenges they face in that area of the country. But the truth is, it could be any area of the country. America is going through a mental health crisis right now and it’s like nothing we’ve seen before.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness announced in 2018 that one in five American adults have been diagnosed with some form of mental illness. In 2015, five years before Covid, life expectancy in the US began to fall. The CDC blamed this on increasing drug overdoses, record numbers of suicides, and on liver disease associated with increased alcohol consumption. All of those are related to a deterioration in mental health.

But that just raises another question. Why is mental illness so prevalent in today’s America? The Bible has the answer.

Romans 1:18-32 describes a pattern among nations that have known God, and then turn from Him. Such nations crumble from within. They crumble because their moral strength rots away. Verse 21 says, “When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations.” Verse 28 tells the psychological result of that. “Even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind.”

As a nation, that’s where we are right now. Uvalde and Buffalo are symptoms of an even greater catastrophe in the making. We must turn back to God, starting with local churches and their leaders. It is time for revival among the clergy. It’s also time for revival for the folks in the pew—revival among all who profess the name of Christ. It must be now… or it may be never.

In high trust communities in which people belong, they are invested in preserving and protecting their people. When teens become antisocial they are quickly brought back in line. Everyone is valued. People do not get lost. Ours is a low trust society that is losing people routinely. It is completely broken and delusional.

Sorry, but the above mentioned scripture says NOTHING about nations…that is spiritualizing scripture. God is no longer saving nations. He put that aside when Israel rejected Jesus Christ.

He saves people.

What is a Nation but the collection of the individuals? When the collective people of a nation reject God and become ungrateful and self serving, then the nation itself has upsidedown thinking. History is replete with the fall of nations and societies because of the trending depravity of the citizens.
I see nothing out of context using this insightful scripture to describe the dark heart and minds prevalent here in America.

A Nation is very clearly defined, even thought nobody here seems to know what it is.

Edit: I was going to copy from a dictionary but apparently the kikes have been busy redefining the word. No wonder.

‘America’ isn’t a nation. While there may be nations within ‘America’, it’s just another multinational abomination no different to anywhere else in the current year.

“Romans 1:18-32 describes a pattern among nations that have known God, and then turn from Him.”

Pagan: “Is it true that if you did not tell me about this Jesus, that if I remained unaware …. that I would not be condemned to hell?”

Missionary: “Yes.”

Pagan: “Then WHY did you tell me??”

Makes one wonder if it would have been better if America did not become a Christian nation. But, too late now. We are/were Christian, and now we’re fucked. Thanks, holy rollers!!

The US murder rate has halved, more or less, since the 1970s. I do not find the headline accurate or true. Generally, violence has fallen steadily for some time.

If you eliminate a certain demographic, the US, though still high, is much closer to the levels of other developed nations. A second major demographic also sways the figures. If you eliminate blacks and Hispanics, I expect you will find the US population is generally peaceful.

For fuck sake. The article talks about Chicago, Phillie and Houston. And the author is too gutless to come out and speak the fucking truth. It is the blacks. And the Hispanics. That is why.

Violence is a part of human nature, it’s how we made it this far. And to be fair it is primarily the young rather than all age groups. It’s the control over impulsive behavior that no longer restrains young men- and women- from committing these acts. The shootings capture immediate attention, but to discount the massive number of abortions negates the female aspect from candid discussion.

Families and then local communities set standards for the young. Without stable structures like those they will still develop into adulthood, but without the restraints that would normally limit their impulsivity.

This is a natural outcome of a broken social order and it isn’t going to be fixed by addressing the tools used rather than the root causes.

Rats disconnected from soil, tradition, faith, family, community and nation, caught in the perpetual debt maze of ‘gotta’ get dat money’, otherwise one’s value as a member of society is zero, become easily dissociated with humanity and are fiscally forced into serving the incessant demands of Mammon instead, which is to say the corporate controlled state.
Modernity is slave conditioning . Some go mad . Most surrender to the perpetual dysfunctional demand of the state and instruct their children in serving the Beast as well. Capitalism, bruh… it’s muh freedom.

” While leaders disarm you, they are busy decriminalizing serious crimes. If any of the people in charge wanted this to be a safer country, they wouldn’t have caused the current crime wave in the first place. They would not have defunded the police. They wouldn’t be encouraging open-air drug markets in our cities. They wouldn’t be sending crack pipes to addicts. But they’re not worried about the public health at all. What they’re worried about is public resistance to their policies. Disarming the population ends that resistance. ” Tucker Carlson

A couple of Canadians die from guns, literally and he wants them outlawed and wants to legalize drugs killing hundreds, perhaps thousands? This guy needs to be run through the chipper yesterday. Again, anytime homicides is mentioned and there’s a rise in the murder rate, I always ask, “What percentage of the rate increase is attributed to Ziggabos and wetbacks?”

I dare say that it’s probable that when those 2 non-white demographics are combined, at least 95% of the increase goes to that set.

As a Baby Boomer, many of my friends had fathers who fought in Europe during WWII. Most brought back all sorts of war trophies including German and Italian weaponry; Berettas, Lugers, Mausers, Walthers, bayonets, daggers, knives, swords and such. I sometimes despair, always, as now after yet another atrocity like this, we get the usual ‘blame the gun’ manipulative idiocy, but even the more informed start asking “why did he do this”, “what made him”. That is the entirely wrong question.

We have always had ‘the mad’ amongst us (way more than you probably believed, although if the last few years haven’t disabused you of the notion that mental illness is rare, I don’t know what would). There have always been a tiny minority amongst them that wished to act just like this (mental illness, even such as schizophrenia at its worst, does not remove a persons innate understanding of good/evil, right/wrong, law or consequences. As such the overwhelming majority of sufferers are entirely law-abiding).

So? It isn’t ‘what made/prompted him to do this’ it’s ‘what stopped (people like) him from acting thus before, that is no longer present’?

Ask yourself, what stops ‘you’ from acting as a criminal. The simple answer is risk/reward, the benefits you will receive (personal, financial, social) against the losses you may face (ditto). You rob someone, you obtain whatever you stole, but face imprisonment (a beating or death, in any reasonable society) as a consequence – is it worth it?

Every group of people develops a system of ethics, mores and norms of behaviors. Transgression resulted in a response, dependent on severity, from disapproval and shunning all the way up to corporal and capital punishment (with the concomitant rewarding of compliance).

Consequences. There aren’t (intentionally) very many left in our modern world for the ‘serious’ crimes (in many ways the ‘system’ seems designed to give criminals, and more especially/specifically the ‘mad, the very things they want, status, notoriety and often financial gain too, without any real down-sides as they see/experience them).

Much like so may cities found out (Duh!) that ‘broken window’ tolerance of the minor transgressions leads inexorably to an increase in major crimes, it’s those failures to ‘police’ the most everyday, minor, pedestrian, ‘normal’ interactions in society that have led, caused, this.

I’m a Pratchett fan. In “Good Omens” (a satirical examination of good vs. evil) he illustrated something I had noticed myself. That large scale evil events often precipitate the opposite reaction, a growth of good behavior, whereas it’s the multitude of constant, never-ending, small, everyday, petty evils that gradually, insidiously ‘corrupts’ people (if you witness an assault, you’re more likely to treat people with respect, if you get ‘cut-up’ by another driver for the gazillionth time, you’re more likely to refuse to behave reasonably to ‘all’ other drivers).

So? Yes, removal of censure and punishments (and in fact the effective, and actual, rewarding of this/these behavior/s) is ‘a’ cause for the rise, but ultimately (as so many here have already observed) it is the (deliberate/intentional) removal of faith from our society’s that is the ultimate cause of this.

Ultimately, the core truth, whatever the apparent risk/reward calculation shows, your faith is why you do not commit crimes (you may ‘get away’ with the crime, profit massively, but you also know both that you will eventually pay, but more importantly that it is simply wrong – ultimately our very judgement, understanding of right and wrong is informed, based on our faith). Remove that and effectively we are (as we see) in the law of the jungle, random circumstances, victims of an ever growing evil.

As long as America maintains its system of Forced integration there will be violence. Our ancestors learned very well from hundreds of years of real-world experience that oil and water do not mix and neither do black and white. No one functions well under force, even those who have never known the peace and logic of segregation. It is well past time to dismiss the obvious failures of Forced integration and face a new future of individual independence for each race to work, study and live separately as they themselves choose to live and as nature apparently intended in the beginning.
