I had an 18 year old employee leave the factory by sprinting across the street in an effort to be first out of the factory parking lot. He neglected to look for traffic. We caught it all on security cam. He flew pretty much like in this video. I kept it for show and tell for new hires. The kid lived, but was brain damaged. Amazing the amount of stupid out there.

I only watched it seven times!!!
I have seen the flying man routine over and over off our security cam. The police came and got a copy at the time. We watched it with them dozens of times – kid runs into the street, gets mowed down, goes flying around thirty feet, lands on head. The only real downside, as I don’t have much sympathy for stupid, was the traumatized little old lady that mowed him down.
You ever hit someone at speed on the freeway?
The first thought through my mind was a head swivel to look for witnesses.
If none, you can bolt and claim the damage as a parking lot hit and run.
But when you see the witness, you have to stop.
Now I’m hoping they’re dead, and hopefully no family that will file suit.
