Over the past year, Thunberg’s movement – described by Bolt as a “cult” – has fizzled out.

Went to Luxemburg today for grockeries, booze, tobacco, heating oil and coal which is much cheaper than in Frankistan. Got some oil (very little it’s only to heat water when I take shower then I turn it off). The distributor had 250 kg of coal left which he sold me at the same price as last year 9.95 euros for 25 kg. 250 kg was the only thing he had left and he is now sold out. Apparently the German gubmin has blocked all deliveries of coal for the ENTIRE EU. The worst part is, that coal is reserved for German corporations not even for the people.
Effing kraut gubmin (not the people really as I hope sincerely they wouldn’t have elected them if they had known in advance). For those who went with the pellet crap, I was told my coal vendor that French companies are hording pellets in very large warehouses in Luxembourg making sure there are none on the market so they can jack up the prices this coming fall. Fonderful vorld I tell iu.
Thanks for that update. You travel to another country to buy oil to heat water for a shower. In 2022. Wow. I can’t even get my head around that. I thought France had sufficient nuclear electrical generation to power things like electric water heaters. Can you elaborate?
Iska, when the house was built in 1954, central heating was state of the art. In the 60’s taxes on heating oil in Frankistan went to 40%. When I bought the house from mother and brother (long story) in 2005 I didn’t think it would be necessary to change it. Now I’m stuck with it. And thanks to our beloved greenies, most of the nuclear plants in Frankistan are closed and the power companies buy coal produced electric from the Germans.
