If congress critters hear more such tirades, they might stop the escalation in the Ukraine – not because they think Russia was right to invade (although I think they were) but because it’s a waste of American money. If they move to “we’ve sent enough money to Ukraine already”, that would be a good thing.

Obama was going to hit Syria with cruise missiles but Americans went apeshit. So he didn’t. I don’t have any faith in politicians. If they think they’ll lose their office over sending more money to Ukraine, they MIGHT stop the escalation. “Might” not “will”. It’s not like I’m confident about it. Elections still matter enough that Biden begged the Saudis not to announce their production cuts until after the midterms.

Iska…was on a political call yesterday for Colorado (for some sick twisted reason my brain cannot let go of…and to mock everyone…and for entertainment…and for a whole bunch of other reasons). BUT, the entire take away from the call was that the state of CO has it in the bag in MULTIPLE ways to pull off ANOTHER STEAL…EVEN after ALL the work that has been done in that state for election integrity. ALL the sweat that was poured out, the pounding the pavement, the fighting with state politicians, the risk of having the FBI at your door to intimate you, the risk of going to jail because “election tampering”, etc, etc, etc. There is absolutely no way in hell that the “right” people will lose an election in that state. NO WAY WHATSOEVER.
So, at the end of the call, what does everyone start talking about?? Where to move to? What red state can they escape to. That’s how it ended. We lost. Game over. And that’s a micro example of what is gonna happen on the national stage.
Elections don’t matter anymore.

The natives are getting really restless and 2030 is still a little over 7 years away. It’s not like red is much better than blue. Just a bunch of lip service. Young people don’t believe in nuclear war. No, they’re not flat-earthers (well, maybe a few are). They just don’t believe that things can ever go wrong. Home values haven’t gone down in their adult lives, so it’s impossible for their condo value to drop. I told some youngsters in 2016 that Hillary would get us in a nuclear war. They deemed that less important than Trump calling a guy a Mexican. Since they’ve never seen a nuclear war it can’t happen.
