I’m thankful for that pic of the raccoon! My dear departed Dad used to keep them as pets. This reminded me of a hilarious story he told me about his coon and some idiot who broke into his apartment while he was at work.
Seems the coon would nap on the bookshelf right by the door. When the intruder “let himself in”, Dad’s raccoon proceeded to make like an angry hat. Dad came home to a ransacked, blood spattered apartment…but the coon was on his bookshelf perch like nothing happened!
It turned out to be one of his maintenance assistants, whose head looked like it lost a fight with a blender full of barbed wire! Not hard to piece together that crime. So, Dad fired the guy and promoted the raccoon.

I am grateful for friends/family/roof over head/4×4 van/so far country has not become full blown pineland(coming soon).Today me bird day is actually blts with bacon from a friends pigs/eggs from chickens I am caring for next door and of course stuffing!Tis local chow and tastes great!
As I look back on a lifetime of Thanksgivings gone by, I’m so thankful I was a Baby Boomer and grew up just in time for at least the last 20 years of the greatest party ever thrown on Earth. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to celebrate sharing so much mutually supportive freedom, adventure, innovation and especially the musical grandeur with my generation.
Despite just as much shenanigans as ever going on politically through it all there was never a greater number of people on Earth so unified by musical respect under such a huge variety of style preferences nor the bar of excellence ever set so high for so long by every genre of music and we knew it. It was and still is my refuge of authentic joy, hope and freedom when my soul needs to be reminded what it feels like.

Hiya Stuck – I am having trouble getting motivated, plus I am happier at the moment ignoring the general doom of the world as best I can. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
You keep telling people you’ve got no teeth and you might end up with more sex than you can handle.
I am thankful for family. Today, we hosted 3 of 5 kids, 8 of 11 grandkids and all four greats. Our health is good enough that we could cook for this large crew, eat, laugh and chase the littles around the acreage.
We are so blessed by God the Father and have been given salvation by the Son. He is so good.
I am thankful I learned the dangers of osb and finger jointed products.
I am thankful I have no children. I could not cope with knowing that their world will never be like the one I grew up in and likely will be a totalitarian/dystopian nightmare I would not want to live in.
