all of your issues are easily explained. Your first major mistake is that you think the filming started at or near the beginning of the chimp out. There’s probably a crowd showing up later and starts filming-explains employees already bolted. The mess is probably from prior slip/slides through the area. I see stools and items to stand on for the filmer to step-up for different shots and the filmer may not have been alone and passed the camera to a buddy to catch the more heated action on the other side of the wall/partition.
