Yesterday I commented that Scott is a supercilious twat, because he is. He was before anyone ever heard of Covid. Manning up and admitting you’re wrong must be even harder for a supercilious twat. So legitimate (not sarcastic) kudos to him.
I should mention that I do not feel likewise regarding medical doctors who endorsed the shots and their alleged safety, but have just lately come around to realizing their error. Doctors who do so (and whose prior advice led to harm from the shots) are rats fleeing a sinking ship, and they should be drowned… literally.

Asymmetric Information Syndrome is what happens when you do not have access to a technically correct answer early enough to protect yourself from harm. How do you do this?
Increase the breadth and scope of information consumed on a daily basis which is not driven by the ‘Totalitarian Thought Model.’ In order to do this, you must actively seek out sources of information and place them on an internal spectrum in terms of inherent usability. Begin to treat your information gathering process as one might treat an intelligence collection procedure — carefully discarding, vetting, discarding again, curating, discarding again, and then sharing relevant information in a timely manner.

That’s a dumbed down version of IQ, by Kurzweil.
Pattern recognition is just the -alas important- first step.
From there it’s detecting things that unexpectedly fall outside of the patterns.
Then on to quickly deciding which of those outliers are potentially important (so to not waste huge amounts of time on flecks.)
Then a carefully balanced mix on Occam’s Razor for non-malevolent actors, and think-like-a-psychopath for the malevolent ones, to come up with a likely cause.
Then a decision if/how to adjust ones actions, based on worst-case prevention and morality.

I didn’t start out anti-vax and still think some may still have benefit. For example, my understanding is that the tetanus vaccine induces your body to produce antibodies against the toxin, not the bacterium that produces the toxin. So, no real chance of the bacteria evolving to escape immunity because of vaccination.
But during the hoopla surrounding the plandemic, I was pleased at first to see the medical community was apparently going to come through and produce vaccines to end the threat. Then, reading the widely available information coming out about the dangers and ineffectiveness of the mRNA tech, then the adenovirus DNA vector, then the “traditional” NovaVax product, it got to be pretty clear none of this shit was any good. The information coming out about the effectiveness of many widely available treatments, followed by TPTB actively trashing those treatments, ended any thoughts that my governments (federal and local) had my interests at heart, to put it mildly. The governor at the time of my state (Nevada) even somehow, without the legislature, outlawed hydroxychloroquine in order to maximize hospitalizations and deaths.
Adams seems to be claiming that those of us that managed to escape those death jabs were all a bunch of tinfoil hat nut jobs that just got lucky, while on the other hand thoughtful critical thinkers like himself really thoroughly analyzed things but somehow came to the wrong conclusion just this once. I’m guessing we’ll be hearing more along those lines from others. Galling.
That’s hardly an acknowledgement that we were right and he was wrong. That’s sorry not sorry. Luck had nothing to do with it.
I see the current events this way:
1. Scott Adams has a lot of crow to eat, so I can live with a bit of piecemeal approach by him – plus he maybe wants to try to take the biggest possible number of his subscribers with him, in their thinking on it.
2. Scott was one of the first pretty widely known voices to predict -based on sentiment, not “Science”- that Trump would win in 2016, so hopefully this is a good sign for the direction of the “vaxx” discussion as well.
I should have also pointed out that during this time, my wife’s unvaxed cousin, younger than either of us, died of COVID-19. More accurately, he died from the Mengele Protocol mandated by our government: remdesivir and intubation. But we didn’t know for sure and I agonized over whether I was right in convincing my family to stay away from the jabs. People like Adams just stuck with the herd and claimed to be following “the science”. I really like him and “Dilbert” is a gift to the world, but he really wants to have it both ways here.
I had a typhoid tetanus vax once and felt bad for about a week. At this point in time, I feel there are no good vaccines. Just good vaccine propaganda.
My understanding is that the tetanus vaxx is proven to “leak” and the incidence of tetanus in humans has always been massively overstated, but is slightly more common among wild animals.

No, there are no “Winners” in this vax/anti vax issue, we have all lost, it’s just a matter of degree, some have lost more some less. One brother in-law who was clearly vax injured died in August another BIL now has two forms of cancer, my nephew is clearly vax injured, one of my renters 40 yrs old died suddenly, I could go on but in all this just what is it that I’ve won? – nothing.
We won what exactly ? Many lost their jobs and health insurance . We still carry our portion of the debt load that destroyed businesses and poured billions into BIG PHARMACEUTICAL & Tech companies to encourage and hide the facts .
