The biggest problem mRNA skeptics face

Guest Post by Alex Berenson

And how to handle it. Because this battle isn’t going away.

On Friday I was having lunch with a relative.

She’s a nice woman, smart. We’re not especially close – we didn’t grow up near one another and we don’t live near each other now – but we’re blood, and in no way unfriendly.

One more thing: she’s an academic. You can guess her politics.

Just after we sat, we talked a bit about Covid. She said she’d been only vaguely aware of my views or how controversial I’d become – surprising but not entirely, she’s had plenty else to worry about of late. She’d googled me and come across “The Pandemic’s Wrongest Man,” though. Of course.

We ordered, ate, caught up, gossiped about family. The usual.

And then she said something along the lines of, Well. I would like to hear about your journey, how you developed these views.

Journey. Uh-oh.

Sure, I said.

One question I’d ask, one way to look at it – do you generally believe in the scientific method?

I think she said “scientific method,” not “science.” But she meant “science.”

She meant, Do you believe in science?

There is only one answer to this question, if someone is foolish and/or rude enough to say it out loud to you, the mRNA skeptic. I don’t care who that someone is: a relative, a friend, a frenemy, a television interviewer, a total stranger.

Yes, this question has only one answer.

What an idiotic thing to say, I said.

She was taken aback. After all, she had asked me if I was a moron, but she’d done so politely.

I don’t think it’s idiotic, she said.

Of course I believe in science, I said. A nuclear power plant sits not far from where I live. It exists because one group of brilliant scientists unlocked the secrets of the atom and another group figured out to how to use fission to heat water and turn turbines and make electricity. Which I use every day.

I could have made the same point even more simply: whenever I get on a plane I don’t expect to see the wings flapping.

To exist in the modern world is to know science exists. To agree to a prenatal genetic screen, to check your favorite team’s highlights on your phone, even to drive is to understand the profound technological revolution humanity has undergone in the last three centuries.

These people. These smart liberal people.

They believe, truly, that anyone who questions the mRNA shots must be a knuckle-dragging mouth-breather who has no idea what the scientific method even is.

The mRNA jabs are extraordinary science. They are an incredible feat of biotechnology. We have figured out how to hijack our own cellular machinery in the same way viruses do. These shots build on generations of brilliant biological research, dating back to the discovery of the structure and function of DNA in 1953.

But that amazing history doesn’t mean that the modified mRNA in the Covid jabs is safe, any more than it means plutonium is safe.

In fact it means the opposite. It means they should be treated as dangerous until proven otherwise.

And the scientists who helped develop them knew that they might be dangerous. As they wrote in a widely read 2016 paper called “mRNA delivery using nanoparticles”:

Currently, no mRNA therapeutic is approved for use in humans, and a beneficial safety profile in patients still has to be demonstrated. A first clinical application will likely not be a prophylactic vaccine, because the tolerance for side effects is very low for a drug that is injected into healthy individuals. [emphasis added] Establishing the safety profile in a therapeutic application, such as cancer immunotherapy, will be followed by prophylactic applications.

In other words, mRNAs shouldn’t be used in large numbers of healthy people before we gained years of experience with them in cancer patients, who have far shorter life expectancies and a much higher tolerance for risk as they pursue cures.

When regulators approve drugs, they do so on the basis that those drugs are safe and effective.” The first word is “safe.” Not effective, safe.

First, do no harm.

But in 2020 drug companies, scientists, regulators, and the government tossed that maxim aside.

They decided the Covid mRNA jabs were safe enough to be moved within months into large clinical trials.

When less than five months later those big trials did not turn up obvious and deadly side effects, they decided the vaccines were safe enough to be given to more than a billion people. They made this decision though the vaccines had NOT demonstrated a clean short-term safety profile in the trials, but rather fairly severe though generally short-term side effects.

I cannot emphasize enough how completely these choices upended the normal process of drug research and development. The regulators took an enormous risk.

It has not paid off. Two years after mass vaccinations began, all-cause mortality remains well above normal in almost every country that used the mRNAs, while births are way down.

(Ashes, ashes, 12.7 percent more of us fall down)

It is also theoretically possible to have a reasonable conversation about these facts with mRNA vaccine advocates, and to speculate as to what reasons other than the shots might be driving the current death wave.

Theoretically.

In reality two factors make it very difficult.

The first is that most of them are unaware of the demographic reality currently unfolding. Although advanced countries all over the world regularly publish weekly or monthly death rates, the media has almost completely ignored the recent excess in mortality.

This refusal is particularly striking considering the same outlets obsessively counted of Covid deaths for the first 18 months of the pandemic – until late 2021, when it became clear that Covid deaths were continuing to rise quickly even in Western European countries where nearly every adult had been vaccinated and boosted.

But an even bigger problem is the attitude that vaccine advocates display.

As if those of us raising questions must be treated with kid gloves because we just don’t understand how science works. Don’t we understand basic biology? Don’t we know these drugs have been tested? Don’t we know there’s a process? Don’t we understand that sometimes terrible things can happen to people after they’ve received the mRNAs purely by coincidence?

Yeah.

We sure do. We understand everything these nice folks who got the shot do.

The problem is that we understand more.

So. When you are confronted with this patronizing line of questioning, don’t try to talk around it. Call it out. Make sure your questioner understands that you believe in science. (Ugh.)

Then, if he or she doesn’t shut down entirely, you can at least begin the process of trying to walk through the more worrisome data. Or just send them here.

And if he does, so be it; at least you have shown that you will not accept any debate that begins with the premise you are too dumb to understand that vaccines are real.

No one that believes in science would ever say “I am science.” Because we know science is theory, tested, published, tested again by other scientist, and if repeated and verified, tested again by trials, and then accepted by the majority or scientist. But real scientist keep looking, like Eisenstein’s theory of relative to see if we were correct with our limited knowledge.
Fauci was never a “real scientist” but always a political scientist. He decide on the results he wanted and altered the procedures to give him the results he desired. And his desires were political, we all saw that.

You guys get all the good job titles! I think you are taking the wrong approach with “true believers.” You can’t talk sense with people who have none.

Try this instead. “Why yes I do believe in science, but sadly I fear that you do not.” When asked to explain, ask for the person’s Vaxx Card. Are they current? Have they missed any opportunity to get another booster? Point this out. Offer to take them down Right Now! to get that missing boosters. They are authorized for every two months now. Point out that you are scheduling a reminder for two months to come back and drive to another booster. Keep selling that booster shot.

When you get push back – well, have fun poking fun of their belief in “science.” If they ask what you mean by “believing in science” you can mention the Cleveand Clinic study that shows the five (XXXXX) vaxxed have lost 25 years of life expectancy, and you want to make sure she gets all the “science” she can take.

Again, only because some people are beyond the reach of reason. For those within reach I try a different approach. “Do you believe the politicians have your best interests first or do you think they might have their own or someone else’s interest first? How about the government beaurocracy? The media? Big pharma/med? Big tech? Well as long as they haven’t ever lied to you before, you should go ahead and believe them.”

This is the biggest problem anyone faces, in trying to rearrange people’s worldview, on any subject:

YANSS 256 – Why Americans must change their minds about their ability to change other Americans’ minds

.
An availability cascade is a self-reinforcing cycle that explains the development of certain kinds of collective beliefs. A novel idea or insight, usually one that seems to explain a complex process in a simple or straightforward manner, gains rapid currency in the popular discourse by its very simplicity and by its apparent insightfulness. Its rising popularity triggers a chain reaction within the social network: individuals adopt the new insight because other people within the network have adopted it, and on its face it seems plausible. The reason for this increased use and popularity of the new idea involves both the availability of the previously obscure term or idea, and the need of individuals using the term or idea to appear to be current with the stated beliefs and ideas of others, regardless of whether they in fact fully believe in the idea that they are expressing. Their need for social acceptance, and the apparent sophistication of the new insight, overwhelm their critical thinking.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Availability_cascade

. . . which makes it easy, for those who seek to rule, to inject widely-accepted narratives into the collective mind of people who have been trained since birth to accept proclaimed “experts'” pontifications:

“People accept the facts which come to them through existing channels. They like to hear new things in accustomed ways. They have neither the time nor the inclination to search for facts that are not readily available to them.”
― Edward L. Bernays, Crystallizing Public Opinion
https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/1184315-crystallizing-public-opinion

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.” ― Edward Bernays, Propaganda

I don’t discuss it with anyone anymore. What for? Those who understand are just an echo chamber. Those who don’t understand never will, let them go.
To the one person who tried to convince me to inject years ago I said that the people advocating that we take the injection have no compunction about murdering women and children the world over to achieve their goals. They lie whenever they utter words. Why would I take advice from such an entity?
My concern is that these injections aren’t going to kill these idiots. Why is it taking so long? There are still way too many people around for my taste.

Published in Science Advances, the paper explores the ongoing “replication crisis” in which researchers have discovered that many findings in the fields of social sciences and medicine don’t hold up when other researchers try to repeat the experiments.

The paper reveals that findings from studies that cannot be verified when the experiments are repeated have a bigger influence over time. The unreliable research tends to be cited as if the results were true long after the publication failed to replicate.

Alex has been on the right side of the jab debate for most of the plandemic. However, he gets two crucial points wrong in this article. TPTB may have declared the “vaccines” were safe, but they knew the opposite was/is true because they are the ones who had the jab engineered to cause all the harmful or deadly effects (NOT side effects). Secondly, he mentions an increase in “covid deaths”, but this is almost complete gaslighting. The reported “deaths” were based on a positive PCR test, which were run at a high enough cycle threshold to produce 97% false positives. The number of deaths caused BY covid were a tiny fraction of those reported. The numbers were further enhanced due to the huge financial incentive for hospitals to illegally and immorally classify deaths as being caused by covid, regardless of the true cause. The large increase in all-cause mortality is directly attributable to the deleterious intended effects of the jab. This will continue for the foreseeable future, especially since so many “believers in science” will continue to take multiple “boosters” and try to force those of us with functioning gray matter to do the same. Hang on tightly, this ride is going to get a lot bumpier.

“The problem is that we understand more.” Lot to unpack there, some of it even taught to us by the machine itself.
Like vaccines can take a decade or more of testing, but this is being rolled out in 10 months ? And then assuring us there would be no side effects…. a statistical improbability to say the least. Huge amount of lies and deceptions happening all at once for those who could see it.

Then calling it mRNA, by it’s name, huge red flag, like we want you tampering with that, science be damned. And the whole story and the way it was being handled by the authorities was pitiful from the start. I did the math in my own mind, natural immunity was going to be the answer, had it 3 times now, violently two of them, last year i brushed it off in a month, Covid doesn’t have the power to kill me, why risk a vaccine now.

And the understanding of the wickedness of humans, some would sell the rest out for power and money in a heartbeat, and a few more who are completely evil, and money or power are just tools in there hands/minds.

And even being aware of principalities and powers that don’t like God’s creation. The waters are very deep and dangerous and unscientific as you can get.

Taken together , there wasn’t much faith in the scientific method or knowledge, “trust the science”, that society was blowing up our asses. At least for some of us.

I am over 65 and on an Advantage program. You have to have a yearly home visit from a nurse. My nurse did warn me when I had the visit that I should be “careful’ as we are having extremely high excess mortality rates. She suggested they were an after effect of covid from people that had caught it. When I told her I knew that, but that it was from the mRNA vaccines, she turned somewhat white and said, well we really don’t know why, but she didn’t deny it either,
so you could see she was lying.
They will never admit the truth, never. They know, they knew, it was all politics and no science.

I think the fundamental question is…do you believe in evil? Anyone who submits to “the science” of Big Pharma and takes the death jab is not a fully functioning rational human being, and those “scientists” that developed the MRna jab aren’t playing on the side of humanity.

What science?
What science?
April 10, 2023 6:31 am

When asked if I believe in science or the scientific method, my answer is yes. My counter is a two part question: Do you believe govts are inherently good/honest with the best interest of its subjects or its own benefit? Are you familiar with how govts have performed countless atrocities, including hidden populace experimentations without informed consent numerous times to deadly affect? Syphilis upon black servicemen, numerous spraying of the populace with experimental contaminant’s, etc When you go do your research of the foia info that proves their malevolence maybe you will gain enough healthy skepticism to use critical thinking skills to ask some basic questions. Like, why did they use the word “cases” vs infected persons, why did the tests have such a high rate where they all showed positive results, why did they lie about effectiveness of chain link fences can keep viruses out, i mean cloth masks, sorry. Why could I stand in line at walmart but not in a line to vote? Why did they censor some of the most prestigious trained docotrs, why were people not allowed to ask questions or debate or given ingredients or informed consent? Why, if you are vaxed, and the vax works would it bother anyone if I am not vaxed, after all, you “are safely vaxed” therefore you are not at risk. Why did corporations demand we give up bodily autonomy to them, then laid us off when the economy crashed. Your compliance to the vax did not save your job. If their “science” was so perfect then they should be able to prove all other claims wrong in an adult debating manner. It would have easily stopped the anti vaxers. Why did they cover up so much regarding covid, like a patent filed 6 months prior for the virus, why was it named covid in November 2019 before anyone named it officially or it was even known? Why are they pushing mrna so hard, even to genetically modify fruits and veggies to get it into us all? Why did they count so many fake test results, infections and deaths as related to covid. Remember, someone died of a car wreck they tested the body with faulty test and used that dead as a covid death. They correlated everything to covid to pump the numbers to gain control and lose our freedoms. Now, the refuse to correlate a single death or side effect to the vax, nothing. They are silent. Like sulking kids who were caught. Hundreds of millions are dying and have severe health side effects but not one media, govt, politician or covid vax advocate will come forward and even questions much less correlate these death. They correlated all sorts of deaths to the virus but refuse to do so when its factually apparent the vax is causing death and maiming. The idea you refuse to question, or consider these facts or critically think about these isses tells me you do not believe in science or the scientific methodology because those that do question everything, every hypothesis is on the table to gain more understanding and knowledge. The questions and debates are part of the science and methods used and yet you question if I believe in science? It seems I understand and believe in science more than you.

What, science?
What, science?
April 10, 2023 6:44 am

It has come to my realization that the brainwashed, mostly the left, and the idiotic sheeple in the middle are all pro vax. Many are adhere t to getting every booster so they can virtue signal. Even those with doubts creeping in still adhere to the booster schedule so they can be “right”. It is always the same with these types throughout history, they end themselves. Funny thing is we can sit back and watch all these marxist die suddenly while they all refuse to see the facts right in front of them. Their need to virtue signal is stronger than their fight or flight. I truly have no pity on them as they tried to literally kill me and my freedoms so I wish them godspeed in their quest of super cycle virtue signaling until they suddenly fall into their pine box. IDGAF.
