WHEN THE WALL STREET CABAL TOOK OVER AMERICA

The chart below reveals much about what has happened since Nixon closed the gold window in 1971, allowing politicians, controlled by the Wall Street banking cabal, to spend our country into $33 trillion of debt, while accumulating another $200 trillion of unfunded pension and welfare obligations. The age of the growing middle class ended in the early 1970’s after a couple decades of progress. Eisenhower and Kennedy were moderates, while the Fed was run by William McChesney Martin, who wasn’t afraid to pull away the punch bowl before the party got out of hand.

We began our spiral when LBJ inflicted his Great Society upon us, while waging a nonsensical costly war in Vietnam, choosing guns, butter and encouraging the  indolent to go on the dole. Nixon picked the spineless Arthur Burns as his Fed chairman and unleashed the inflationary genie from its bottle by unlinking the USD from its gold peg. The USD has lost 87% of its purchasing power since 1971, and the middle class was obliterated.

I was seven years old in 1970. We were a lower middle class family of five, living in a three bedroom, one bath row home in the inner suburbs of Philly. We lived in relative comfort on a truck driver’s salary, with a mom who stayed home. This arrangement is no longer possible in America, after fifty years of willfully generated inflation, averaging 3.9% annually. The wealth of the middle class was absconded by the banking cartel and the parasites which feed off this vile bloated corporate fascist creation.

The 1970 price chart says it all. The average household income of $9,400 in 1970 has risen to about $75,000 today, an 8 fold increase in fifty three years. Meanwhile, the average cost of a new home has risen from $23,450 in 1970 to $513,000 today, a 22 fold increase. A new car has risen from $3,450 in 1970 to $48,000 today, a 14 fold increase. Gasoline was 36 cents per gallon in 1970 and I paid $3.96 a gallon this week, an 11 fold increase. And the same goes for most other living expenses. Of course today’s youth can’t buy houses or in many cases even rent an apartment. Living in their parent’s basement is their only option.

Decisions made in the mid-1960’s and early 1970’s by politicians, central bankers, and the billionaires behind the scenes truly running the show have turned a nation of savers into a nation of debtors. The credit card wasn’t even a concept until the late 1960’s, and now Americans owe over $1 trillion on these cards, paying 20% interest. There are very few who have benefited from turning America into Financialization Nation. Bankers, politicians, and the blood suckers who orbit these greedy bastards have reaped and continue to reap ungodly riches, while utilizing these riches to ensure their system rigging never ends. The system is completely captured, and thinking you can vote yourself out of this mess is a fool’s errand.

The system is rigged, but the perpetual issuance of debt to fund their lifestyles is unsustainable and will collapse. They will do everything in their power, including destroying the planet, to try and retain their wealth, power and control. We are headed into a global war and a financial collapse, with a climax date sometime in the early 2030’s. The good news is this will sweep away the existing corrupt social order. The bad news is it will entail much bloodshed and wealth destruction for average Americans. Buckle up, a shitstorm is a brewin.

In other words Trump ain’t gonna save US.

Trump is just a foolish distraction of false hope for the maga crowd and ignorant Christians that are putting their hope in the world and not Jesus and the word of God.
That being said he’s still the last trump and trump of God sign post for the coming rapture of the true church of Jesus the Messiah.
Not much different then the old testament Jews that demanded a king rather than God Himself to rule over them.
They picked man’s choice an unprincipled Saul and today they’ll likely pick similarly in Donald Trump.

In 1972 at 22 I bought a beautiful brand new zippy harvest gold 72 MG Midget for $2,800. Was making $4.65 an hour at Delco Remmy (union) making car batteries…making about $9,000.00 a year.

Shared a decked out two bedroom bachelor apartment with a boyhood friend who also was not long out of the Marines. The place had a large dining room (we put a black light in, posters, a giant pillow floor with bean bag chairs…and a weekly party – often woke up the next day with many people (both sexes) asleep in the bean bag chairs and on the pillows who we did not even know!

Also had a part time job as a bartender $1.50 an hour under the table not counting tips. It was really an amazing and highly productive way to meet women – I selectively handed my own personal card I had – had professionally printed with my name and phone number with my 3 initials as the logo…If the woman was interested they would call me…a great way to screen potential dates.

I was swimming in MOUR blue collar money and MOUR lips, hips, and the other ahhhh…attractions of the opposite sex I could spend or seduce…or be seduced by!

I was still in high school. But when I graduated in 1975 I got a full-time job at (((Levitz Furniture))) making $1.85 an hr. Shared a 2br 2 bath apartment with a high school friend at $200 a month, all utilities paid except phone. My parents sold their 2br 1 bath house that was 25 years old for $25K and moved to Denver. I got laid off 3 yrs later as we slid into the recession. I did manage to find another job.

I’d like to see 2 high school grads making min wage get by sharing an apartment now. You would have to live in a really scary part of town.

The all caps corporate version of a living flesh and blood human was created SO WE COULD CONTRACT with corporations.
Something about a law maxim of two different things can not legally contract.

A corporation is literally a “dead body”
Whereas a living human is..well..alive.

The trick here is ONLY IDENTIFY as your corporate self when CONSENTING TO DO BUSINESSS.

It is not evil or wicked, it was created so you can do the business of buying and selling from/with corporations.

Be careful about this topic.
There are a lot of sovereign nutjob types who while carrying drivers license contracts they freely entered into which EXCEED CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITS want to suddenly say their constitutional rights are being denied.
Your rights are not being denied, you opted into a more restrictive driving contact of your own free will, then failed to understand the distinctions in law to which you were now bound.

You all do it to yourselves.
By not understanding…you legally exist as a person, and a corporation.

I noticed you said Driver License. “Driver ” implies you are engaged in commerce (i.e. bus driver, truck driver, stagecoach driver). However, in fact are you are traveling, an unalienable right that has had a lien put upon it by these bastards. Also, license allows you to do something illegal. I guess it’s illegal to operate a motor vehicle. I dunno.

Where I lived gas was only about 22-25c per gallon in 1970. I clearly remember going with my Mom to fill up the family station wagon and it only cost about $4-5 to fill the 25 gallon tank. I worked at a service station (remember those?) in high school 1975-76 and gas was up to 35-40c per gallon then, after the OPEC thing. By removing us from the garden, and teaching us to rely on the system instead?

As Ed McMann use to oft say to Johnny back in the day ” YOU ARE CORRECT SIR !!!Its all about the money , or , economy /economics seems to be the best way to understand the human condition, outside of the Bible , which has its own economic prescriptions that ironically reach the same conclusion . Economic activity encapsulates human interaction and the human condition , starting with the staff of life and then descending down from there in order of priority . Living inside of a fake and gay clown world may seem to suspend these realities for a time for its inhabitants ,but negative interest ( interest payed on debt ) never sleeps and sooner or later the inevitable becomes, well , inevitable . Good write up Sir , you and I are apparently the same age and have roughly the same experience of a seven year old living in 1970 Americana .One thing though, for most of us, it was actually a more austere material lifestyle than the majority of people live in today , its just that we didnt think we could expect more because thats just the way it was ,and in real prosperity , which is a matter for the psyche or soul we we’re much better for it . One car , one telephone ( hanging on the wall with a rotary dial ) one television ( with three channels that signed off sometime after the afore mentioned Johnny was done ) , no computers , no micro waves , no credit cards( for anyone but the wealthy who could afford to use them to their financial advantage ) no video games , no calculators , virtually no pornography etc .
Amazing , the changes that have takenplace in the relatively short span of our lives so far and it is excellerating to God knows what .

On a more positive note. Don’t be a fool and make yourself a slave of the system. We are what we think. This is clearly outlined in the hundred year old 20 page classic”As a Man Thinketh.” If you want more information and really want to go into a deep dive on the subject, you can take it to the next level with 1960’s classic “The Flute of God.” While God is the Macrocosm creator of our Universe. Soul created in the image of God is the Microcosm creator of our own world. To many people are stuck in the victim consciousness. These books help you get back to excepting Gods gifts.

The Vairagi adepts of Eckankar is the oldest line of Spiritual adepts on the planet. They always have representatives on earth and every spiritual plane. They are the keepers of the ancient wisdom. There are other orders too, but they are just copies. All the purveyors of Wisdom as Jesus and Buddha had contact with them, and gave what they knew of their wisdom to the world. The basic teaching is it is every Souls destiny to one day be a coworker with God, which is the meaning of Eckankar. The history of the Spiritual adepts is in the book titled, “The Spiritual Notebook,” by Paul Twitchell. Many of the adepts and or their students are known in the Western world. Saint Francis, Socrates, Plato, Pythagoras, and many others are mentioned. A fascinating read. Exoteric or Orthodox teaching are for the masses who have an interest in God. The Esoteric teaching are for those who have a love of God and Truth. Only the bold, courageous, and adventuresome can find them.

Exactly , Jesus himself upset the proverbial orthodox apple cart of the time ( the pharisee’s ) because the mosaic law couldn’t be that rote , dogmatic and inflexible and be any good to anyone other than a group of folks intent on being in control of others . It’s rather more like external circumstances decide what is the right or wrong course of action . There is obviously “a time for every purpose under heaven “. Proper discernment , and the spirit in which one acts to any given set of external circumstances is what makes the act moral or immoral . I think there are some exceptions, so that would not be a universal maxim .

Paul in his letter to Galatians perfectly describes the purpose of the mosaic law. It has already served its purpose, so any attempt to keep it is both futile (always was) and LARPing.

The parts of it that are eternally in effect (such as the 10 commandments) are specified there and elsewhere in the Bible, but as Galatians points out, depending on law keeping for salvation is not possible.

Well said . Not a Bible scholar per say or a saint by any stretch myself . But not being able to heal people on the sabbath ,if that is your vocation ,and their healing cant wait for the morrow , because of the Mosaic law would be an example of the point I was trying to make . Paul is perhaps my favorite writer in the New Testament . “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you “it seems would encapsulate most (but not all of course) of the laws that Moses brought down from the mountain .

The law was a schoolmaster and showed that each and every one of us could not keep the law. There is none that doeth good, no not one. We are all condemned to Hell because of our failure to keep the law, but Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, became sin for us with His death on the cross. We who trust this one fact are not condemned to hell, but to life eternal.

The bible has books from Saul/Paul the Pharisee.
It has four “gospels” containing overlapping versions of jesus record.
Jesus spoke 31,426 words in the bible..
Saul/Paul wrote 13 books for a total of 44,301 words.

The bible has more words from the Pharisee Saul/Paul than Jesus, even though Saul/Paul never served an apprenticeship like the fishermen did. Heck, he never even met jesus, and dont get me started on which of the three different Damascus Trip conversion stories he wrote and shared might be true.

A few days later, [reaking of schnapps] Schmuel shows up, condemns David and Bathsheba for gross sinning, and then?

Sooner or later people are going to cough up some of those asset prices for retirement and medical costs. How shit can not hit the fan is impossible?

The brakes were already off. The massive over-printing of currency by the federal reserve – as in large multiples of the actual gold reserves – predated the closure of convertibility by decades.

Once the Europeans started asking to cash in the dollars they held for American gold, the scam began winding down and the dollar has been seeking it’s actual worth – on an ever downward path.

” . . . large multiples of the actual gold reserves – predated the closure of convertibility by decades.”

Yes. Nixon was forced off the gold standard because de Gualle demanding conversion bankrupted the US gold reserves.

But the silver standard (the actual legal foundation of the US economy) mattered because it was directly accessible by The People, on demand, at any bank.

If a dollar were still a dollar (a silver coin by legal definition) you could still get a dollar out of it.

One roll of 1964 quarters at melt value will get you a 55″ TV today, and you’ll get a few back.

“More tech.” What if you just want a car without all that superfluous “tech?” Nobody is making them. If you think it’s worth paying 15-20 times the price for transport, you’ve been had.

Good points, JQ. This economy has almost hit Critical Mass.

My older brother, who in the last decade has had three kids, and insists on being the only bread-winner, is feeling the pinch now. He is a FOREX trader, and knows all about the market trends, but that is playing with other peoples’ money; he is living up to his means personally, and probably beyond just like every other American.

He has shamelessly been trying to work my mother to get money out of her because of it. At 57, he is a renter, and rather than sensibly move some place affordable, chooses to stay where the rent is rising almost monthly. I know he is a good father and takes care of my niece and nephews, so I understand his desperation: the last people who ought suffer are the children. He is afraid for his family. Everything is getting out of hand, and his salary is not rising monthly to compensate, like everybody else.

I wish I could help, but I too am starting to get concerned financially, and besides, all my brother wants is money so he can handle his immediate needs. What about next month? Because anything I gave would be spent and then Square One again. This is nothing new with him — but lately it has gotten worse. I have to protect our mother, just like he has to protect his family. I promised my father I would, and I keep my promises. Mother is 82 and retired and on a fixed income; it is not her responsibility, or mine, to subsidize my brother who is living too high. This tears me up inside. It is a quandary.

Anyway, there is no way this runaway inflation can continue for much longer. The center cannot hold. Our families are near the breaking point. I think that breaking point is coming soon, and I am not a doomsayer and never have been. But we all know this is all going to end badly.

Protect your families as best you can.

I have a text book Psychopath for a twin sister and she ripped
my parents off for their money as they got older and older and
could not defend themselves against her daily tirades.

There was nothing I could do about it after my evil twin sister
convinced my parents to give her power of attorney for property
and care. Once that happened she riffled their bank accounts
and had credit cards made in her name whilst all power my parents had
was removed from them legally.

Your brother sounds like my evil fraternal twin sister.

My brother would have a hard time doing any of that madness. He knows I would come at him with the Wrath of God.

Plus, he does love my mother, same as me, but the difference is respect. If I needed something, I would not play sympathy games with Mama, I would just swallow my pride and ask, because I do not know of anyone who has ever gotten indigestion from swallowing pride.

Seriously, calling up your mother and saying things like, “If it wasn’t for these kids, I’d probably just kill myself” is the vilest thing you could ever do. I would never do that. I have too much self-respect. But my brother has gone there. I used to look up to him; how can I now?

And, of course, there is the fact that my mother is going to leave everything to me anyway, so that door is closed for him. She knows if she leaves him anything heirloom he would sell it. I really loath the day I have to deal with this — hopefully that will not come soon.

There’s always a fatal wrong assumption in every one of these articles that worries about the “national debt”, pretending that “economics” is not a pseudo-science bag of BS… for one simple obvious reason, the Creature from Jekyll Island (fed reserve of the chosen tribe).
When will they get it through their heads that it’s fake, Jim ?
It’s printing press money, and if you’ve got the ashkenazi genetics (highest rate of schizophrenia, btw) and a friend with the printing press, it’s all Kosher as they say. Home Depot, Star-sucks coffee, etc etc…..
And sure, the shit will hit the menorah some day, but it will be WHEN THEY decide, and not because some debt comes “due” or other wild illusion inside a simulated reality. These articles assume an actual logic and honesty which simply does NOT exist, and I was lucky enough to have an economics Prof who explained this to me at a young age.

Sounds like BS to me , there is math and there is human nature and there are things people need in order of priority( human economy) whether or not the central banksters happened to exist or not. I agree that they do and have distorted everything to a point where it would seem that these inviolate rules would no longer apply . But for my money ( pun intended ) I still beleive ultimately that there are overarching constraints imposed by the reality of the physical universe that we occupy and that sooner or later ” what goes up must come down ” whether or not these psychopathic wanna be masters of the universe want or or not. They’ve just been ridin high at others expense so damn long that they believe their own BS that they are immune .

Professor Emeritus Karl Marx posited revolution of the masses
due to aggregated wealth sloshing around in too few hands more
than 200 years ago.

Fuld leveraged Lehman Brothers 44:1 as a gambit for bank supremacy
on Wall Street, but he blew Lehman Brothers out of the water along with
the entire Western Capitalist Fractional Reserve Banking System in his
own personal quest for power over his peer group of bankers that speculate.

Speculation alone is what fosters wholesale market decoupling. Mandelbrot
was warning everyone about speculation in 1963 long before Nixon came on the scene
in August of 1971.

Once Nixon launched the U.S. Petrodollar based currency it was only a matter of
time before that energy gambit ran out of speculative territory to gamble extremes
of wealth away via U.S. dollars.

Ukraine & Taiwan defense is absorbing every bit of energy lost to climate change
initiatives for decarbonization. Ukraine & Taiwan are also eating up all the social
programming money as society rots further into an abyss the Greeks likened to
the Necropolis or graveyard of civilization.

Nixon said the temporary closing of gold convertability was a necessary evil, but
he didn’t give anyone a timeline on what ‘temporary’ meant in August 1971. They
didn’t call him Tricky Dicky for nothing, folks.

I watched Nixon close the gold window with my Chartered Accountant Senior Rulings
National Revenue Canada Oil, Mines, & Resource Taxation father who was poached
off of Bay Street in Toronto in 1971 so that he could work for the Government of Canada
on their tax files for Oil.

Any idiot knows that oil is a commodity that has a lifespan & halflife vis-a-vis
pollution via the combustion engine that spews cabon dioxide CO2.

The concept of a biosphere was not very evident in 1971 to many scientists.

Much faster than I thought it could. When the left/deep state steals or cancels the 2024 election it is going to get crazy. The economy will continue to erode all the way to the election. Most of the Fed chairmen have been members of the liberal-fascist Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), including Powell, Yellen, Greenspan, Volcker, Miller, Burns, Martin, McCabe, Black, and Meyer.

Likewise for Presidents of the NY Fed: Dudley, Geithner, McDonough, Corrigan, Solomon, Volcker, Hayes, Sproul, Harrison, and Strong.

Likewise for Treasury secretaries: Yellen, Lew, Geithner, Paulson, Summers, Rubin, Bentsen, Brady, Baker, Regan, Miller, Blumenthal, Simon, Shultz, Kennedy, Fowler, Dillon, and Anderson.

Same stuff, different century. Banker Paul Warburg of Kuhn Loeb, the “architect of the Fed” and a founding member of the Federal Reserve Board (1914), was also a founding director of the CFR (1921).

In the 1960s, the Banksters discovered that by getting both parents in the work place (the mother AND father) they could jack up the prices on everything; cars, houses, loans, etc. Prior to that, a man could provide a home and a decent car for his family and still manage to save money for the kid’s college education. After the 1960s, it was get whatever you wanted on credit. “Get It Now, Pay Later.” And then it was off to the races. Consumer credit was the worst thing that ever happen to mankind. Now you really will ‘get it now and never get it paid for AND then get it taken away from you – house, car, toys, and bank accounts. It will be “Own nothing and be happy (on Soma).”

While both parents were working two or more jobs, the kids became “latch-key” children. They spent their day in government indoctrination camps (public schools) and then brain-washing at home watching CIA-provided TV “programming.” (Then came Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll.) So is it any wonder drug addiction and sexual perversion is at an all-time high? All according to plan…

In the fall of 1970 I started working at 15 years old as a busboy for $.75/hr. That was half the minimum wage allowed in Arizona for tipped employees (I think minimum was $1.45/hr) . I would make a whopping $2 to $4 a four hour shift in tips; good money to me at the time.

And yes, the reason this all occurred is they convinced everyone that the cost of government only had minimal inflation effects – a monumental gas lighting lie. We expected raises to at least cover inflation and they largely did for most but it was fake. Employers loved the rigged CPI. The middle class wages barely covered half of real inflation, resulting in two wage earners to prevent bankruptcy. That should have been a wake up call long ago, if not for the MSM.

I am always amused by the “unfunded” pensions bit. Governments have effed themselves through their slight of hand. In the case of SS, it was originally set up as a trust. Trusts require segregation of funds, payments only to those entitled by the terms of the trust, and that the trustees must exercise the prudent person rules of fiduciary responsibility or they can be held personally responsible. Congress changed all of that, and SS has been the piggy bank. When talking about pensions, the plan sponsor is responsible for deficits but also owns surpluses. How many times have plan sponsors raided surpluses? Governments, in particular, have used the their plans in many different ways. One way is not to contribute until retirement, then use the actuarial value of the plan’s return over that time, rather than the actual rate of return over that time, to add to the plan assets. Over the working life of the employee, the actual rate of return is always higher. I was a trustee on a pension plan for 15 years. When I started, the plan’s assets were about $3.2 billion. Through the 2oo1 downturn, the 2008 fiasco, and the 2012 dip, when I left in 2015 he plan assets were $6.8 billion for 2014. Last year it was over $12 billion. The Board of Trustees took things very seriously, because we understood that if there were any slip ups, we could be sued personally. The governments’ pension liabilities are due to mismanagement.

The 1970 price chart says it all.

I notice you left all the big ticket items in 1971 like televisions and appliances off yoi list.

“In the early 1970s a good, 21-inch console color television might cost you $500. In today’s money that would be around $3300. A good tabletop set might be $350, or about $2200 today.”

https://www.soundandvision.com/content/tv-technology-and-prices-then-and-now

A 19 inch inch color TV was $500.00, 1970s.
How much is a 32″ TV? $98, 2023.

Well, probably everything left off the list was more expensive-relatively to earnings.
But that’s why you leave things off a list like this, when your goal is propaganda.

“The difficulty of exercising “social responsibility” illustrates, of course, the great virtue of private competitive enterprise — it forces people to be responsible for their own actions and makes it difficult for them to “exploit” other people for either selfish or unselfish purposes. They can do good—but only at their own expense.”
