This is all because the religious zealots in Israel want to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and rebuild the Temple Mount in its place. The Muslims worldwide know this, even if your average idiot in the west does not.
Now Israel is threatening to attack Syria. I can imagine right now there are Muslims from all over the world on their way to Syria and Lebanon to join with Hezbollah and to fight Israel in a major war.
As hostilities increase, and Israel angers the Muslim world by attempting to commit genocide on the Palestinians, the Oil Producing Nations in the Middle East are probably considering another oil embargo like the did in 1973 which will cripple the economies in the west and send oil to $200+. The economies in the US and Europe would sink into major depression, and be totally disrupted. If the US and Israel do not find a way to back out of this escalation, shit is going to get really, really, bad.

All the threatened jihad day has done is convince a few handgun carrying patriots like myself to have long guns in the vehicle whenever leaving the end of the driveway. More ammo, more mags if they want a longer firefight. A declared jihad requires different preps than a mere, mostly peaceful civil disturbance. After all, aren’t handguns only used to get back to one’s rifle? And the first rule of a fight is Bring enough Gun.
