What to do, oh what to do? I have a home boy ‘social control index’ that has proven modestly reliable over the years. Travel. Attend tourist destinations, both locally and internationally. The industries related to travel appear to be the most susceptible to the latest fads in ‘governance’ promoted by the vile mess that seems to run the world.

This one is most notable and Orwellian, an example being, at the hotel your room key card allows access to only the floor and wing on and in which you are lodged, the lobby or the ground floor. If your friends are on another floor or wing you must obtain additional credentialing to obtain access to that floor or wing of the structure.

bartering is good way to exchange goods and services without cash. But keep in mind, if it ends up like a total ghetto, anarchy, you can trust no one. No one. If in the hood, they’ll kill their best friend of 15 yrs for the 5 bucks of weed in their pocket today, and in your example, bash your head in for the other 15 smokes, the heck with barter.
Should be interesting trying to buy anything you need or want without going thru the ‘approved’ for your purchase’ gov app.
What do you trade for, say, airfare to you mother’s funeral? What if your tire isn’t repairable and you need a new one? Or a new set of tires? You guys are being deliberately obtuse. There is stuff you need – or at least want – and spend money on that you can’t barter for on a practical basis. HSF has some sort of solar array at his place. Maybe he needs an AC converter or something from out of state. I doubt that he could mail them maple syrup as payment. Air travel could be limited with CBDC. “There’s nowhere I want to go” isn’t the answer (even though it’s how I feel). Not being able to go places is what “prison planet” means.
