Very good description between a Democracy and a Republic. It’s very clear, the USA has been a Democracy way more than a Republic. One thing left out though is how the USA was made of Sovereign states. Traitors Like Hamilton, Henry Clay, and Lincoln saw to it that states rights were secondary. Lincoln and Hamilton even propagated the myth that the Nation was created first and the states second. They were complete liars, and both paid for their lying with their lives. Two great books on the topic are “How Alexander Hamilton Screwed up America, and “The real Lincoln.”
The vocabulary being bandied about by the cuck right is terrible. A federation, also called a confederacy, has member States/Nations/Sovereign Entities. Do these same cuckservatives demand the right of secession and a free market of federal governments? No, they don’t. They wordsmith with Christianity and patriotism ’cause they stupid. Allegiance to incorporated legal fictions and supernatural fictions rather one’s people means one is not a true human and does not cling to true humans. It is all very pathetic.
On the sovereign States idea, the Founders were the new boss like the old boss. The Articles of Confederation (1777) (which sounds promising but was a lie) declared a ‘perpetual Union’. States cannot seceded from a perpetual union, which nullifies State sovereignty and cannot be a federation. Nevertheless, all the little states did secede to a new constitution (because unanimous consent to change the Articles of Confederation was not arranged). That constitution, the current one, says a ‘more perfect Union’. A union is a superset definition of a federation. There was no explicit mechanism for State secession, and we don’t have such a mechanism.
On a technicality, Alexander can’t be a traitor because for all practical purposes he was a Jew. Washington was a traitor as far as I can tell. He pretended that a central government bank was a difficult proposal to evaluate after the Continental was not worth a Continental. He had Hamilton and Jefferson go through a public debate for show and chose to have a central government bank, endless government credit. I think the fix was in. The Constitution was a contract between “the several States” and “We the People”, creating the central (federal) government that was to be limited in scope and size. We have ventured so far from those facts that we now have a federal government that is a bloated corpse, just waiting for the funeral.

We are neither a Republic or a Democracy. We are a Dictatorship ruled by the .01%. The Republic died when Lincoln declared war on the Southern States. By 1913 the Dictatorship was complete and elections were controlled, even if they really did not matter. All candidates were selected in advance and the control mechanisms to keep them in line had been ensured years before. By the time any politician made it into elected office, the .01% owned them and had enough dirt on them to end their careers if they did not tow the line..
