My great uncle caught a guy looking into my aunt’s window. This was back in the early 60’s, we had one cop in our town and he wore his own clothes and drove his own car and didn’t carry a gun- remember this was NJ, circa 60-65. I heard that story at every family gathering until that entire generation passed away. I always admired his handling of the situation and it never happened again.
