I have heard about this many times, and always considered it at least half truth. I am always watching out for them chinks. I see mostly old ones in Anchorage. But I am watching, for the younger males, and will be ready if and when they come.
Brewer. Great find. My wife is from Taiwan, ROC, and we were in the Chinese Association, here in Anchorage, the whole time our kids were growing up, for about 20 years. Our kids went to Chinese school once a week for 12 years or so, and my daughter had mostly at least half Chinese friends. She did the dances with them and my wife did some too. I have a fairly good connection with the Chinese community in Anchorage. Most of the people we dealt with were from Taiwan, especially in the early days. They were all super nice friendly freedom loving people who loved the USA, were well educated, and doing great in their American dream. In about 2000, the mainland Chinese started coming. Mostly the super educated to start. They were not the same high quality people we knew from Taiwan who love America, freedom, and the American dream. We knew some mainland Chinese that went to Taiwan and they were very shocked as Taiwan people were all very nice and treated them wonderfully. That’s why I married a Taiwanese woman. The first time I met my wife’s family, it was like a coming home celebration, and I barely knew her then. I came as her English teacher. Only bumping into her later, when I was not her teacher, did we finally start to really go out. It was divine love, through the grace of God, in action. But that my friend is a story for another time. Yes, I see more Chinese in Anchorage all the time. But not military age males. They are probably in the liberal shit holes. One last, I never met a Taiwanese that took any welfare. The mainland Chinese love it, and think it’s there right and you are a sap if you don’t.
