NASA footage of the Moon passing in front of the Earth by a satellite called DSCOVR (pronounced “disco-veer”)

According to NASA it was taken 1 million miles from Earth and shows the dark side of the moon as it passes between the Sun and Earth on July 28, 2015.

Can you see any problems with this video or are you completely satisfied that what you are viewing is in fact authentic?

Star Trek & Its Contribution to Everything

Star-Trek

If you pay attention, you will see that much of Star Wars is based on the Roman Empire and the battle that ended the Republic, which was followed by the Imperial Era. Star Wars is just entertainment, not science in reality. But anyone who raised kids had to see just about every single one. Even Star Wars has inspired many different things to the point people do create their own light sabers just for starters.Floating-OrbPerhaps I never admitted this in public, but people do not appreciate how much primarily Star Trek contributed to society. Star Trek first aired on TV in 1968. The Apollo 11 landing on the moon was July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong made “one giant leap for mankind.” There are even objects you can buy like the ICEORB Floating Bluetooth Speaker which is clearly inspired by Star Wars as well and sold out at Amazon for Christmas. Of course you can even use cyclical wave of sound to levitate things. This is something most people are totally unaware of but is real and mind-blowing for most people who do not understand that cycles are how energy moves, which includes markets. So many things you see in these movies you may think is just hype, may actually surprise you.

Global Warming Scandal Heating Up

Via Judicial Watch

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a lawsuit on December 2, 2015, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking records of communications from National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) officials regarding methodology for collecting and interpreting data used in climate models (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Commerce (No 1:15-cv-02088)). The lawsuit sought the same documents unsuccessfully subpoenaed by a House committee.  Less than week after Judicial Watch served its lawsuit on NOAA, the agency finally turned over the targeted documents to Congress.

Judicial Watch sued the Department of Commerce after the agency failed to respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted on October 30, 2015 – NOAA is a component of the Department of Commerce.  The timeframe for the requested records is October 30, 2014, through October 30, 2015, and requests all documents and records of communications between NOAA officials, employees, and contractors regarding:

  • The methodology and utilization of night marine air temperatures to adjust ship and buoy temperature data;
  • The use of other global temperature datasets for both NOAA’s in-house dataset improvements and monthly press releases conveying information to the public about global temperatures;
  • The utilization and consideration of satellite bulk atmospheric temperature readings for use in global temperature datasets; and
  • A subpoena issued for the aforementioned information by Congressman Lamar Smith on October 13, 2015.

HITCHING A RIDE WITH OUR ENEMY

How is it that the bankrupt American Empire has to hitch a ride on the spaceship of our existential enemy – Russia – to get into space? I thought our economic sanctions were destroying Russia. How can they afford to send rockets into space and we can’t? Maybe it’s because we spend our money blowing up camel jockeys in the Middle East.

A Soyuz spacecraft launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome, heading for a historic one-year expedition to the International Space Station (ISS). On board are cosmonauts Gennadi Padalka and Mikhail Kornienko, along with NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

Republicans To Investigate NASA Over Climate Data Tampering

Tyler Durden's picture

With record heat (and drought) in the west and record cold (wet and snow) in the east, the global warming game-playing continues every day but the climate-gate rhetoric has increased vociferously since we first noted three weeks ago, the data that has been so relied upon to ‘prove’ global warming’s trend was in fact manipulated. What The Telegraph called “the most extraordinary scandal of our times” – that of the “seasonally-adjusted” seasonal raw global temperature data – is about to be investigated by Congress. As Daily Caller reports, California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrbacher exclaimed “expect there to be congressional hearings into NASA altering weather station data to falsely indicate warming & sea rise.”

This began, as The Telegraph previously noted, with claims that the underlying data used to justify practically every study p[roving global warming has, in fact, been manipulated…

Although it has been emerging for seven years or more, one of the most extraordinary scandals of our time has never hit the headlines. Yet another little example of it lately caught my eye when, in the wake of those excited claims that 2014 was “the hottest year on record”, I saw the headline on a climate blog: “Massive tampering with temperatures in South America”. The evidence on Notalotofpeopleknowthat, uncovered by Paul Homewood, was indeed striking.

Puzzled by those “2014 hottest ever” claims, which were led by the most quoted of all the five official global temperature records – Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (Giss) – Homewood examined a place in the world where Giss was showing temperatures to have risen faster than almost anywhere else: a large chunk of South America stretching from Brazil to Paraguay.

Noting that weather stations there were thin on the ground, he decided to focus on three rural stations covering a huge area of Paraguay. Giss showed it as having recorded, between 1950 and 2014, a particularly steep temperature rise of more than 1.5C: twice the accepted global increase for the whole of the 20th century.

But when Homewood was then able to check Giss’s figures against the original data from which they were derived, he found that they had been altered. Far from the new graph showing any rise, it showed temperatures in fact having declined over those 65 years by a full degree. When he did the same for the other two stations, he found the same. In each case, the original data showed not a rise but a decline.

LET’S BAN SOLAR STORMS

Liberal control freaks think they can change the course of nature and our atmosphere through laws, regulations and taxes. It’s beyond laughable, as they can’t predict next week’s weather with their supercomputers and the sun can make all their computer model predictions worthless in an instant. Their true goal is to control us. Maybe they should tax the sun or pass new regulations banning solar storms.

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has captured rare footage of a coronal mass ejection (CME), or eruption of solar material, surging off the sun. CMEs belch huge clouds of superheated particles from the sun’s corona – the wispy, outermost and hottest layer – and can reach speeds exceeding 1 million miles per hour. HOW YOUR CORPORATE FASCIST GOVERNMENT MURDERED 7 ASTRONAUTS

I was using my clicker to try to find something worth watching on my 600 station FIOS TV system last night with no luck. Nothing of interest on these hundreds of worthless channels. Then I stumbled across a channel I didn’t even know I had – The Science Channel. Names don’t mean much when channels like Discovery broadcast Honey Boo Boo or Duck Dynasty. The Science Channel was running a movie called The Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster. I figured it was some sort of dry documentary, but to my surprise it was a real movie with the great actor William Hurt playing the lead role. He was playing the part of Richard Feynman. I had never heard of him before watching this excellent movie, that should have been on a major network.

I realized why a MSM corporate station didn’t want to touch this movie after it showed how our government, along with a major corporation, knowingly sent seven astronauts to their deaths in the Space Shuttle Challenger in 1986 by ignoring clear data that indicated extreme risk for that launch. NASA, the government and Morton Thiokol then conspired to cover-up their malfeasance and reckless decision making because profits and funding for their programs were more important than the lives of those astronauts. The Rogers Commission would have come to an inconclusive decision if not for Richard Feynman.

He was dying of cancer but still relentlessly pursued the truth. He never trusted authority. He hated government bureaucracy. He wasn’t a political animal. He cared about the truth and sought facts. The NASA officials lied and declared that the O-rings used in the Shuttle could withstand cold up to -40 degrees Fahrenhit. On national TV Feynman proved that the O-Rings would not retain their shape in a glass of 32 degree ice water. He revealed the NASA and Morton Thiokol executives as liars and criminals. NASA chose to launch the Space Shuttle when the temperature was below 32 degrees because they felt pressure to launch two per month in order to get their funding from Congress increased. They were warned by their own engineers that this could be catastrophic. They ignored the warnings and ended up murdering 7 astronauts.

Feynman devoted the latter half of his book What Do You Care What Other People Think? to his experience on the Rogers Commission, straying from his usual convention of brief, light-hearted anecdotes to deliver an extended and sober narrative. Feynman’s account reveals a disconnect between NASA’s engineers and executives that was far more striking than he expected. His interviews of NASA’s high-ranking managers revealed startling misunderstandings of elementary concepts. For instance, NASA managers claimed that there was a 1 in 100,000 chance of a catastrophic failure aboard the shuttle, but Feynman discovered that NASA’s own engineers estimated the chance of a catastrophe at closer to 1 in 200. He concluded that the space shuttle reliability estimate by NASA management was fantastically unrealistic, and he was particularly angered that NASA used these figures to recruit Christa McAuliffe into the Teacher-in-Space program. He warned in his appendix to the commission’s report (which was included only after he threatened not to sign the report), “For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled.”

The unholy alliance between government and mega-corporations will never benefit the American people. Feynman’s defeat of the corporate fascists in 1987 was nothing but a rearguard action by one of the few remaining true patriots. We’ve since lost the war, as the military industrial complex, the Wall Street cabal, and the sickcare complex have completely captured our government and turned it against the American people.

After the movie was over, they followed it with a show about his fascinating life. I can’t believe I had never heard of him. He was one of the most brilliant physicists of all-time. At the age of 27 he worked on the Manhattan Project while his 25 year old wife was dying of tuberculosis. Her death and his realization of having unleashed the power of a bomb that could destroy the world put him into a deep depression. But he overcame it and went on to become a leader in the field of quantum mechanics and the creator of nanotechnology. The documentary also mentioned how his father would read to him from the Encyclopedia Brittanica and how his father taught him to not trust government officials just because of their positions. Then I stumbled across this quote from him:

“No government has the right to decide on the truth of scientific principles, nor to prescribe in any way the character of the questions investigated. Neither may a government determine the aesthetic value of artistic creations, nor limit the forms of literacy or artistic expression. Nor should it pronounce on the validity of economic, historic, religious, or philosophical doctrines. Instead it has a duty to its citizens to maintain the freedom, to let those citizens contribute to the further adventure and the development of the human race.”

He had a deep distrust for the government and those reliant on the government. He was a free thinking, liberty minded, skeptic who questioned everything. Freedom to question the actions of your government is essential for a country to thrive. We sure could use a few more men like Richard Feynman during these critical times.
