Cancel culture is nothing new, especially in the hyper-sensitive world of 2020. Bloviating and whining about whatever has shredded your sensibilities this week is both a waste of time and excessive. More of the fact, the ire of these “Cancelers” can be multi-million, international corporations – virtually untouchable brands that heed no one’s words or opinions.
Enter Netflix, with their promotion and subsequent release of Cuties, a controversial French film that has seemingly been labeled as a “coming of age” story.
