The writings of antiquity claim Mankind’s desire to unite the world began six millennia ago on the plains of Shinar, starting with the Tower of Babel.  That may be true.  But, in any event, and whether or not history rhymes or repeats, be assured of this:  Nothing is new under the sun.

Clement and Matthew are, respectively, Sigmund Freud’s grandson and great-grandson. Which makes them Edward Bernays’ removed cousins.

Edward Bernays is the person who made Sigmund Freud famous. They formed a close personal and professional relationship in the early 1900’s. Freud was marginalized and scorned by European society. It was not until after Bernays brought his Uncle Sigmund to the U.S. that Sigmund was to attain his recognition, fame and prestige.
