Where is the MSM? Why aren’t these topnotch “journalists” investigating why the U.S. Military is conducting “training” exercises in cities across the country? Doesn’t the U.S. military have hundreds of bases and training facilities? What cities are they preparing to occupy? Something smells rotten in the State of America. If it looks like the military is preparing to occupy this country, smells like conditioning of the public to occupation, and the captured MSM isn’t reporting it, then critical thinking people should be worried.
Invasion! DHS Source Tells Why Military Train in U.S. Cities

A news article was sent to me earlier this week. It appeared in the Beaufort Gazette. The article stated that later this week about 150 Marines and Navy personnel will hold realistic urban trainingin Jasper County, South Carolina.
This was one of many joint military-local law enforcement exercises that had come to my attention in less than one month. Held in cities across the U.S., they were becoming more common and more intense. But why? Why train in populated towns and cities where accidents could produce unnecessary casualties?
The Gazette further reported that the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit will train within Ridgeland town limits. The times and exact locations for the training are not being announced, according to 2nd Lt. Gerard R. Farao.
A little background on the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU). It is one of seven Marine Expeditionary Units. A MEU is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force with a strength of about 2,200 personnel. The MEU consists of four major parts: a command element, a ground combat element, an aviation combat element, and a logistics element. The 26th MEU was establishment in the early 1970s and has deployed extensively, and participated in numerous combat and contingency operations. The 26th MEU is based out of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
I was once stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC. As a Navy Corpsman, I helped care for Marines. I tell you this because inevitably there will be those that assume I hold some anti-military motive. Quite the contrary. This writer is a Navy veteran, receiver of a Navy Commendation medal for lifesaving, Fleet Marine Force Expeditionary medal (2) and several letters of commendation – among other ribbons and medals. I also spent time at Camp Lejuene.
At no time during my time there were “realistic urban training” exercises conducted in towns and cities. This is a recent development.
According to 2nd Lt. Farao, and reported by the Gazette, residents will likely see and hear military vehicles and possibly see aircraft. Farao states the training is part of a certification for deployment to Mediterranean and African shores. Furthermore, he stated participants will be in uniform and carry weapons. Some exercises will take place at night and residents might hear “popping” sounds as Marines fire blanks.
The training has been coordinated with local, county and state agencies and officials, including the Ridgeland police and fire departments, according to a Marine Corps news release.
Although there is no danger, Farao said residents should stay away if they see training under way or uniformed personnel.
Realistic Urban Training is happening all over the U.S. In Miami, Florida on January 26, 2013, Army Backhawk helicopters swooped through the city at night, firing door-guns and chasing make-believe bad guys like something out of an action movie. The fired blanks echoed off of the buildings, scaring many residents into taking cover. The local news reported excitedly about the exercise, stating it was only a drill and for residents not to be concerned. However, there was no journalistic follow up asking hard questions. Such as, who authorized an exercise without informing the public? Why conduct this type of training in a populated U.S. city and put citizens at risk? Isn’t this a violation of Posse Comitatus? No hard follow up questions were asked, and to my knowledge, have not been since.
Not even when the same exercise occurred in Houston, Texas on January 29, 2013. The U.S. Army along with other agencies took over the Carnegie Vanguard High School in Houston on Monday. Alarmed residents called police and complained about gunshots and helicopters. No details were provided about the training. Watch the KTRK-TV Houston report and hear how alarmed residents responded after hearing gunshots and seeing military helicopters flying over their homes.
Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The same types of exercises were conducted in Galveston, Texas. The Houston Chronicle reported The training involved about 80 soldiers from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command in coordination with local law enforcement. According to Sgt. 1st Class Michael Noggle, an Army spokesman based at Fort Bragg, N.C., “We were invited by the city of Galveston to conduct joint training exercises to enhance the effectiveness of both services in order to better protect the residents of Galveston.”
He went on to say in an email that “The purpose of the realistic urban training is to give our Special Operators an opportunity to hone their skills in a controlled, but unfamiliar, realistic urban environment that cannot be replicated with the bare-boned facades found on military installation ranges.”
I’ve highlighted a few examples, but there are more. In a search I came upon these others. Los Angeles, CA, Plainville and Worchester, Massachusetts. As reported in the other stories, residents were unaware of the drills until helicopters swooped over their neighborhoods. And here’s more: Minneapolis, MN, and this in East Saint Louis, MO. There are many more, but these links provide a foundation for further research.
I spoke with a high-ranking, military source in DHS. Preferring to remain unnamed for obvious reasons, he told me, “DHS and DOD are conducting desensitizing exercises all across the U.S.,” he paused, then added, “we’re being prepared for mass civil unrest in major U.S. cities. DOD will be expected to help – when we’re requested.”
I asked if there was a timeline for expecting civil unrest in our cities and why should we expect it to begin with. I was told that there were many reasons, but that the continued devaluation of our currency, the predicted history-setting prices for gasoline this summer and the continued gun control debate are forming a perfect storm of civil discontent. When this storm hits, it will most assuredly produce mass casualties. When does DHS expect this to happen? This summer.
From a high-ranking source deep within DHS, who has strong DOD ties, we are being told that joint DOD-local law enforcement exercises are to desensitize us to military occupation. When asked if there was any concern about violating Posse Comitatus, he stated “no concern at all,” and added, “That’s been a non-issue for a long time.”
Reuters recently reported Jesse Jackson’s request for armed TSA in the streets of Chicago. Is it no longer a question of IF we see armed soldiers patrolling U.S. streets – but WHEN? And notice the way most mainstream media presents these training exercises. They are presented nearly like entertainment. The ones approaching public service announcements mostly center on what areas to avoid because of traffic closures.
No major concerns about military patrolling our streets are being spoken in national dialogue. Those that do are assigned fringe status. But in closing, I’d ask where do these training orders originate? Who is responsible for issuing the orders and at what level in DOD/DHS do they originate from? Since it crosses all military branches, we can assume it comes from the highest levels. Perhaps we should begin asking our elected officials to dig a little deeper into the subject. And if they will not, perhaps we – the People – should.

When I was in the National Guard in the 60s & 70s, we trained for civil defense and crowd control, but we did it on base in the buildings there, not city streets. But then, we were not armed with hollow point bullets in automatic rifles either. We had APCs, not wheeled tanks like today. We had common sense then, unlike the Police State mentality of today.
I wonder what would happen if they called a war and no one showed up? Do they really think that you are going to be on the street when the riots break out? Or will you be home in the basement with your families? If you are police, military or homeland security, you better make that decision now. Because, eventually, you WILL have to make it.

Depending on which state National Guard you were with you had all the on the job training you could ask for in the 1960′s and 70′s. Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, Ca. was more or less continously occupied by the California National Guard in the late 1960′s. Still I am alarmed by this IF this story is true.
The military has plenty of training facilities including mock urban environments to train with. Big military bases themselves like Ft. Hood and Campbell are themselves cities complete with every imaginable setting save perhaps 50 story skyscrapers. I remember when Janet Reno attacked the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas and requested a tank from the military. The military said they would provide the tank but not the personel to operate it so Federal agents had to be trained to operate a M1-A1 Abrams tank to incinerate the occupants. It may have been a distinction without a difference as far as the inevitable result but it was an important distinction as far as the US Army was concerned.
On occasion I like to see US military aircraft flying low and on the prowl in the sky but it doesn’t happen much anymore. Too much noice as military jets are loud and meant to be loud when they are down low. But that’s the Navy and Air Force. I see no reason to have ground combat units deploy on civilian streets especially if they are regular army.

major…, there is always one who fucks up and either panics or loses it. You have to remember that these were mechanics, store clerks, office boys, not trained military. These were mostly people like me who made the decision, when they got their draft notice, to either go to Nam or join the home guard. The smart ones stayed home and served in the Guard. The rich when to college. The other draftees when to Nam and then retreated when they lost. I served 11 years before getting out as a 1st lieutenant artillery because my wife was tired of giving up vacations every year and having me gone a weekend every month.

I don’t have tv but I was at a friends cabin last weekend for some ice fishing and I was astounded at Sundays ABC News. The talking heads were actually telling people that the drones the gov wants to fly over the US are not the feared Predator type drones, but small remote controlled toy airplanes.
Ah, so that is why the FAA has been told by Congress to develop a system for drones to fly safely in civilian airspace. Sure.

It’s absurd that the US military would be practicing firing exercises over a major US city, even using blanks, except that gang violence has infiltrated everywhere, but that doesn’t require a military response.
It’s more likely that the PTB know the gig is up, and are preparing for the eventuality of widespread civil unrest. Europe is already in a depression, the Great Recession has already lasted longer than the Great Depression, which took a world war for the economy to break the cycle given the failed government policies of the era. One might argue the depression of the 1930′s was an inevitable result of the creation of the fed in 1913, made possible by the centralization of power in the US that occurred after the US Civil War that ended in 1864. Since decentralization is what will be required to break the cycle this time around, a second US civil war may be necessary.
The gig was up when the feds figured why tax and spend, onerous enough in an of itself, and began borrowing and spending under Reagan. There were foreign policy considerations at the time, especially with regard to the Cold War, but haven’t all “wars” since the end of WWII been a pretext for government spending?
The gig is up, but not for the US citizen. The end is nigh for the banksters, politicians, and corrupt bureaucrats running the world’s governments. What is not clear is who will emerge victorious, the common man or the global elite via a police state and one world government, or currency.
A crisis in government funding became a crisis in democracy which became a crisis in capitalism, which can be traced back to 1911 with the federal income tax, 1913 and the federal reserve act, each having it’s roots in the civil war, which was waged by the federal government for the sole purpose of securing revenue. We see how well that has proceeded, none of which can be reconciled with the US Constitution, which is why we’re now facing a constitutional crisis, as well.

If the answer was no, then no promotion either.

I served 72-76 USAF Volunteer and proud of it. I have many friends still active in USMC, ARMY,NAVY, USAF as well as many other Government Agencies. I have been told by qualified sources that this kind of action will increase in the coming weeks and months.

I know for a FACT that the Jacksonville Florida Sheriff’s department just received a few weeks ago two band new armored personal trucks and 4 brand new Hum vee’s, courtesy of the DHS – (just before the recent Miami Florida military invasion). This person in the know asked me why I thought this was done. We both came to the conclusion that it was to prepare for civil unrest. This person also mentioned that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s department was having trouble getting their ammunition orders filled because of a ‘back log’ of orders. This person also said that the guns and ammo @ the local Walmart was “clean off the shelves”. Slim pickings remained at WALLYWORLD.
As far as gasoline prices go – I have seen the price of a gallon of gasoline jump up from $3.53 per gallon to $3.79 In less than ten days. I have seen the price of on road diesel go up from 4.14 per gallon to 4.27 per gallon today IN LESS THAN 24 hours! I went to work at 5pm and the price was 4.14 per gallon. When I got relieved from work at 2 am the new price was $4.27 ! They didn’t even wait for ‘day break’ to change the diesel price. “SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES”!

Going back to the Chinese, they’ve been acquiring gold for years, at artificially low prices. As well, they’re buying gold mines and physical assets such as land, all over the world. In other words, they’re getting out of the dollar, buying whatever they can with it, while it still has some value. Why? Well, the IMF announced this week that the Yuan is ready to be the worlds’ reserve currency. When that happens- and it will- the price of imported goods will go through the roof almost overnight, as every country will attempt to get rid of their dollars while they still can, and use some other currency for international trade.
The dollar will be dumped as the worlds’ reserve currency, in a cascade as other countries holding dollars run for the exits. When this happens, the price of products that are imported will go up by 4-5 times, almost overnight (my best guess). This is the logical result of the Cloward-Piven strategy writ large.
The price of oil- when no longer priced in dollars- will have ripple effects that will cause suffering on a scale never before seen in America. Consider the trucking industry, in a very real way, feeds the country. The food you eat, the clothes you wear, the furniture in your house… even the building materials for the house itself, were all delivered by truck. As the price of fuel skyrockets, trucking companies will attempt to pass on the costs to their customers (stores like Wal-Mart, for example), who will in turn pass it on to the consumer. Will the consumers pay so much more?
Consider that while those desperate people who live on the dole may still get their checks (or “deposits” on their EBT cards), it will no longer be able to buy anything, because the prices of everything have gone up 500% overnight. What will happen in the inner cities, when people realize they can’t put food on the table, much less put gas in their cars? Gerald Celente summarized it best: “when people lose everything, and they have nothing left to lose, they lose it.” And they will. It is my opinion, that the downward spiral will far exceed what we’ve already seen in Greece. The starvation and violence will eclipse Greece by many orders of magnitude. The key reason is that we’re the most heavily armed country in the world, and when the wool is pulled from peoples’ eyes, they’re not going to be happy with our government “representatives.”
THIS is the reason why the Obama administration is pushing so hard for “gun control.” The scam is almost over, and when it is, people are first going to be fighting for their survival. When they realize that the country has been robbed blind by the corrupt politicians in D.C. (and at all more-local levels of government), they’re going to be out for blood. The DHS, it has been suggested, is the personal army of the Obama administration. It’s why the DHS has ordered 1.6 billion rounds of hollow-point ammunition, tanks, drones, body armor and thousands of REAL assault rifles. They know the American citizens are going to come after them, and they truly believe they can intimidate and disarm the public. They believe they’re more enlightened than the rest of us, and that we don’t matter.
The government has made their choice abundantly clear. They intend to retain power over the American people, regardless of the cost. We are all slaves- taxpayers, tax collectors, police, military, people down on their luck, the middle class… They’re perfectly happy to use 20 dead slave children- and hundreds of thousands more in the Middle East- to maintain that power, and won’t let any “crisis go to waste,” to gain more power. Their viewpoint- to be blunt- is that we are ALL expendable. You need to understand that fact.
It is my firm belief that the financial collapse- intentionally caused- will create a civil war. Those who think they can escape to Costa Rica (as a fellow traveler told me on an airplane two days ago), Russia, Argentina or some other lovely Caribbean country, are fooling themselves. Americans have always been inventors, and our biggest invention wasn’t nuclear power, it wasn’t advanced medicine or the harnessing of electricity. Our biggest invention was the financial virus which now infects the entire world. There’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. The pain unleashed from this virus, will unleash an ugly side of humanity, not witnessed for hundreds of years.
I beg you, to get prepared, both emotionally and physically. There are a lot of forums that go into how to prepare for the collapse, if you do web search.
There is an old Japanese proverb, “Preparation does not guarantee success, but the lack of preparation guarantees failure.” Do what you can, prepare as best you can.

I understand the need for urban training. Fighting today is not done in the jungles (like Vietnam and Korea) or on wide, open fields like WWI and WWII. Today fighting takes place in villages (like Iraq and Afghanistan). I don’t have a problem with military training being done in US cities. I’d rather our military be trained how to fight in a truly realistic setting. My husband was in the Navy during the bombing of the USS Cole and he was on the exact same kind of boat and his job on the boat was in the area that took the hit and where lives were lost on the Cole. A few years later, they Navy did training on a local river in Florida near the Navy base. They had boats with “terrorists” trying to get close to Navy ships and helicopters flying over to try and determine which boat held the “terrorists” and then trained on how to chase the boat down. It was training to keep another Cole from happening again and I for one was very grateful.

I often wonder if the military will actually shoot American citizens or force them into “relocation” camps when the time comes and the orders are passed down. History has shown that many times, they do not. The soldiers stood with the Russian revolutionaries at the critical time. So many of us have military family members. I cannot, for the life of me, fathom my brothers-in-law turning a blind eye to abuse of fellow citizens and family members. It makes no sense. Any any good dictator can tell you, the military is only as good as long as it actually LISTENS TO YOU and does not decide you are no longer in charge but they are. Of course, exchanging one despotic leader for another doesn’t always work out too well. We can only hope that our good men and women in uniform use common sense as well as compassion and fulfil their SWORN OATH to defend the Constitution of the US when the chips are down. Every branch of military and law enforcement will have a segment of whackos and sociopaths. Heck, they are oftentimes cultivated (see TSA goons). But they are, I truly believe, not the majority. NEVER, NEVER, IN MY OWN COUNTRY DID I THINK THE DAY WOULD COME WHEN I WOULD HAVE SOME FEAR IN MY HEART AS I WRITE THIS POST. Both from what may come and from who is listening.

They are not desensitizing the public. They are desensitizing the military. The public will not be a problem. They will be either passive, which is a non-issue, or upset and protesting and resistive, which is what the military is preparing to handle. They are gettting the military used to operating in American cities. And used to the idea of operating against Americans.
