On July 17, halfway through a flight from Amsterdam to Malaysia, a passenger plane was shot down over the war-torn Ukraine-Russia Border. All 298 people on board, most of whom were citizens of the Netherlands, died in the explosion.
It was the second Malaysian Air flight to disappear in 2014, after flight 370 crashed over the Indian Ocean on March 8.

Finally, a clear and convincing – and unrefuted – case can now be presented to the public, as to precisely whom the guilty party was, that downed the MH17 Malaysian airliner over Ukraine on 17 July 2014, and why it was done. Over the past four months, De Jonge has avoided two international aviation tragedies in what amount to a couple of extraordinary near misses for the 29-year-old.
The Dutchman has to travel around the world to compete for Malaysia’s Terengganu cycling team, but, incredibly, he managed to avoid being on either of the two flights which ended so badly.
De Jonge told Dutch public broadcaster RTV Oost that he had been due to travel on flight MH17, the Boeing 777 that was shot down over Ukraine on Thursday killing all of the almost 300 passengers on board.
However, he elaborated that he decided to swap flights at the last minute after discovering that travelling via Frankfurt in Germany would prove to be a cheaper alternative.
He tweeted a link to a Dutch article about the MH17 disaster, which has been translated as, “Had I departed today, then…”
Remarkably, De Jonge had also been planning to join flight MH370, the Malaysia jet which vanished on March 8 and which remains missing, presumed in the Indian Ocean, as he went on to reveal in the interview with the local broadcaster.He had been due to compete in a race in Taiwan, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, but decided to take a different flight an hour earlier, without the stopover in Beijing, China.
“I could have taken that one just as easily,” De Jonge said in his interview with RTV Oost, in which he said he actually spoke to other passengers waiting to board MH370 before changing his plans.

“It’s inconceivable. I am very sorry for the passengers and their families, yet I am very pleased I’m unharmed.”
The professional cyclist said he has been “overwhelmed” by the international response to his story after he hinted at his close calls on social media.
“What has happened is terrible, so many victims, that’s a horrible thing,” he said. “I have my story and I would like to leave it at that… my story is ultimately nothing compared to the misery so many people have suffered.”
In a statement on his website, De Jonge said he would not be giving any further interviews out of respect for those who died in both tragedies and said that he still plans to fly despite his experiences.
“You should try not to worry too much because then you won’t get anywhere,” he told RTV Oost.
“I have been lucky twice, this will be the third time as well.”
Award winning former Associated Press reporter Robert Parry has been told by an intelligence source that the United States is in possession of satellite imagery which shows that Ukrainian troops were responsible for the shoot down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17.
In the absence of any proper investigation, media rhetoric over the last few days has firmly pointed the finger of blame for the downing of the aircraft on Russian-backed Ukrainian rebels, but Parry’s source tells a different story.
What I’ve been told by one source, who has provided accurate information on similar matters in the past, is that U.S. intelligence agencies do have detailed satellite images of the likely missile battery that launched the fateful missile, but the battery appears to have been under the control of Ukrainian government troops dressed in what look like Ukrainian uniforms.
The source said CIA analysts were still not ruling out the possibility that the troops were actually eastern Ukrainian rebels in similar uniforms but the initial assessment was that the troops were Ukrainian soldiers. There also was the suggestion that the soldiers involved were undisciplined and possibly drunk, since the imagery showed what looked like beer bottles scattered around the site, the source said.
Although the establishment press has attempted to deride any questioning of the official narrative that Ukrainian rebels were responsible for the incident by invoking the tired “conspiracy theory” pejorative, Parry can hardly be dismissed as a crank given his key role in covering the Iran-Contra scandal for the Associated Press and Newsweek. Indeed, Parry’s investigative work on intelligence matters, for which he was awarded the George Polk Award, suggests that the information provided by his source is worthy of serious attention.
U.S. and Ukrainian authorities continue to insist that Moscow-backed separatists were responsible for the tragedy, asserting that a BUK missile system was used to bring down the airliner. However, this was contradicted by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Vitaliy Yarema, who stated, “The military told the president after the passenger plane had been shot down that the terrorists did not possess our Buk missile systems.”
In a related development, audio experts who conducted a study into the authenticity of a recording released by Ukrainian authorities which implicated Russian-backed rebels as being responsible for the missile attack on MH17 concluded that the tape was fabricated.
“The tape’s second fragment consists of three pieces but was presented as a single audio recording. However, a spectral and time analysis has showed that the dialog was cut into pieces and then assembled. Short pauses in the tape are very indicative: the audio file has preserved time marks which show that the dialog was assembled from various episodes, the expert said,” reports ITAR-TASS.

Whenever a major event happens in the world I ask myself who benefits from the event. Maybe the shooting down of flight MH17 was a tragic mistake. But, I doubt it.
The facts are that the Ukrainian Nazis who were put in place by the United States after the American engineered overthrow of a democratically elected leader are losing the battle with pro-Russian separatists. It is fascinating how the American MSM has ignored the slaughter of innocent women and children by the Ukrainian Nazis who have been shelling cities across the eastern Ukraine. Why are the 300 dead passengers on a plane more important than the the hundreds of innocent victims slaughtered by the Ukrainian government?
If you are losing a civil war to Russian backed forces, how do you turn the tide? Get world opinion on your side and convince NATO and the U.S. to commit forces, weapons and money to support you. How do you do it? Direct an airliner over territory where it can be shot down only by highly sophisticated weapons that you possess, shoot it down, roll out fake youtubes within two hours of the disaster, and have your NATO and American allies use their MSM propaganda machines to blame Russia for the tragedy.
This has the dual benefit of distracting the American public from the border disaster caused by Obama, the ongoing economic recession, the Obamacare clusterfuck, and Israel’s invasion of Gaza and slaughter of women and children. When domestic issues are overwhelming a president, an international crisis is a great distraction.
The separatists are winning the civil war. Does shooting down of a commercial airliner benefit them?
The Russians control the natural gas flow through the Ukraine to Europe. They hold all the economic cards. Does shooting down of a commercial airliner benefit them?
The American backed Ukrainian Nazis are broke, losing a civil war, and owe Russia billions for gas. Does shooting down a commercial airliner and blaming Russia benefit them?
You bet your ass it does.

The American government and media are loudly proclaiming that it must have been the Russian loyalists within Ukraine who shot down the plane because they possessed the type of missile used in the attack: SA-11 missiles fired from a Buk missile system.
Of course, the Ukrainians possess them as well.

All three regional actors—Russia, pro-Russian rebels of the “Donetsk People’s Republic,” and the Ukrainian government—had access or potential access to this weapons platform.

As Russia and Ukraine trade blame over the apparent shooting down of a Malaysian airliner, they appear to agree on one thing: the type of Soviet-era missile that brought it down.
But if an SA-11 Buk missile, known as “Gadfly” in NATO, struck the aircraft and killed all 298 on board, that won’t solve the mystery of who did it: Russia, Ukraine and Russian-speaking rebels have all claimed the missile in their arsenals.

The Ukrainian military also admits – after denying it for 8 days – that it accidentally shot down a Russian airliner in 2001, killing all 78 passengers, using a different missile system.
But – say American talking heads – it came from “rebel-controlled territory”.

Just days after the tragic crash of a Malaysian Airlines flight over eastern Ukraine, Western politicians and media joined together to gain the maximum propaganda value from the disaster. It had to be Russia; it had to be Putin, they said. President Obama held a press conference to claim – even before an investigation – that it was pro-Russian rebels in the region who were responsible. His ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, did the same at the UN Security Council – just one day after the crash!
While western media outlets rush to repeat government propaganda on the event, there are a few things they will not report.
They will not report that the crisis in Ukraine started late last year, when the EU and US overthrew the elected Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovych. Without US-sponsored “regime change,” it is unlikely that hundreds would have been killed in the unrest that followed. Nor would the Malaysian Airlines crash have happened.
The media has reported that the plane must have been shot down by Russian forces or Russian-backed separatists, because the missile that reportedly brought down the plane was Russian made. But they will not report that the Ukrainian government also uses the exact same Russian-made weapons.
They will not report that the post-coup government in Kiev has, according to OSCE monitors, killed 250 people in the breakaway Lugansk region since June, including 20 killed as government forces bombed the city center the day after the plane crash! Most of these are civilians and together they roughly equal the number killed in the plane crash. By contrast, Russia has killed no one in Ukraine, and the separatists have struck largely military, not civilian, targets.
They will not report that the US has strongly backed the Ukrainian government in these attacks on civilians, which a State Department spokeswoman called “measured and moderate.”
They will not report that neither Russia nor the separatists in eastern Ukraine have anything to gain but everything to lose by shooting down a passenger liner full of civilians.
They will not report that the Ukrainian government has much to gain by pinning the attack on Russia, and that the Ukrainian prime minister has already expressed his pleasure that Russia is being blamed for the attack.
They will not report that the missile that apparently shot down the plane was from a sophisticated surface-to-air missile system that requires a good deal of training that the separatists do not have.
They will not report that the separatists in eastern Ukraine have inflicted considerable losses on the Ukrainian government in the week before the plane was downed.
They will not report how similar this is to last summer’s US claim that the Assad government in Syria had used poison gas against civilians in Ghouta. Assad was also gaining the upper hand in his struggle with US-backed rebels and the US claimed that the attack came from Syrian government positions. Then, US claims led us to the brink of another war in the Middle East. At the last minute public opposition forced Obama to back down – and we have learned since then that US claims about the gas attack were false.
Of course it is entirely possible that the Obama administration and the US media has it right this time, and Russia or the separatists in eastern Ukraine either purposely or inadvertently shot down this aircraft. The real point is, it’s very difficult to get accurate information so everybody engages in propaganda. At this point it would be unwise to say the Russians did it, the Ukrainian government did it, or the rebels did it. Is it so hard to simply demand a real investigation?
