First of all, let me say this: I’m not going anywhere. I plan to be here corresponding with the contacts through my blog while reading and commenting on websites like Zero Hedge and the Burning Platform. And I MIGHT be posting articles as I can this summer, but definitely not as long or detailed as most of my previous writings. I am actually only three posts away from 200 original articles written since September of 2016 and I hope to complete that milestone as soon as possible.
But, to explain my situation, I’ll repeat what I’ve written before…
I’m somewhat comfortable from an asset standpoint, but having gone Galt in 2011 with no pension and being too young to draw social security, I am often cash poor personally – especially getting pups through college debt free, taking risks, occasional business setbacks, and unexpected brush fires.
Although I am fortunate to have lived a great life with few regrets… if I could have one do-over… I may not have went Galt quite so soon. I also missed out on a decade of stock market returns because I never dreamed the bubble could have been sustained for this long. Even so, from a Dow Jones perspective, I still believe 11 years early is better than one minute late.

It’s been said the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn’t exist. And, subsequently, perhaps the next greatest deception ever perpetrated on earth occurred when Fractional Reserve Banking was invented to create money out of nothing. Bubbles are created from thin air; as are the dreams of those who measure wealth by the fading fumes of fiat currency.
Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said: “The facts of life are conservative.” By definition, “facts” are real. Therefore, Thatcher’s quote could also be translated as: The realities of life are conservative.
Typically, conservatives do, in fact, try to live according to values and principles that have sustained people through the centuries: by telling the truth, acting honestly, producing more than they spend, saving for a “rainy day”, living on a budget, and fairly giving back to their communities by paying taxes and practicing charity.

We are at war; we are not getting ready for war, and it is not eminent. Your government is at war against you. This war is going on now, and you need to understand that we are in an unusual place in recorded history. The current ruling world empire, the United States and its ally, Western Europe, is dying. As all dying empires do, we are seeing the powers to be trying to retain its control domestically and internationally through an increased use of brute force. Empires come and go. We are in a non-kinetic civil war in the United States now. You are in a war here at home. The Ukraine is a distraction from what is happening within American borders. I use that term “borders” loosely here.
When I arrived in Shanghai for a few weeks at the end of 1989, it was a heady time. Over the previous months one “iron curtain” state after another had opened its doors to the world, giving birth to newly independent countries that I’d encountered previously only in the books of fairy stories I once read to my children.
By November that great icon of separation, the Berlin Wall, had effectively, if not materially, melted away, as tens of thousands from the Ostzone surged through the checkpoints dividing east from west.
I remembered the tension, some thirty years earlier, when the wall went up and for a short while Russian and American tanks defied each other from either side of the barrier. I had just returned from Frankfurt after visiting my German boyfriend, who was about to start his national service in the Bundeswehr. His family were part of the flotsam of World War II, having fled westward before the advance of Russian troops.

I’m going to discuss some other things that investors need to keep in mind due to the incredibly stupid sanctions imposed on Russia in an attempt by the US to destroy a nuclear armed country. Have I ever mentioned just how insane that idea is? Why would anyone in their right mind try to eliminate a nuclear-armed country?
Before the attack on Ukraine the madness of shutting down our existing energy system before replacing it had doubled the price of gasoline in the US. Because fertilizer is so energy intensive, farmers were facing a critical economic future. It was impossible to be able to afford the inputs and still make a profit in farming. Then Putin responded to the constant bombing of Donbass and threats from Ukraine to go nuclear. He stated his demands clearly. Ukraine and the US proved tone deaf and he invaded.

Those familiar with the story of Noah’s Ark will know the ancient patriarch, as described in the Bible’s Book of Genesis, built a ship to ensure his family’s lineage through a great global flood. The mass population of Noah’s day would not survive the coming carnage and the people lived without any knowledge of what was about to happen. Perhaps they even ridiculed Noah and his family for building the ark. Regardless, the Walking Dead lived the dream until their world ended, abruptly, in a deluge that swept them to their respective deaths.

Zelensky has just signed into law the first steps of Schwab’s Great Reset. He announced he is introducing a Social Credit Application combining Universal Basic Income (UBI), a Digital Identity & a Vaccine Passport all within their Diia app. He also says that because so much money is coming into Ukraine as he has become an international celebrity, he has legalized cryptocurrencies in Ukraine. Many observers speculate that Putin invaded Ukraine because he wanted to prevent NATO from expanding to Russia’s border. He felt increasingly threatened by a Ukrainian government formed in the aftermath of a 2014 Obama-backed coup. It is highly unlikely that Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine without first receiving the approval of China’s Xi Jinping.
What did Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping think Western Nations would do in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine? The United States and the European Union would most likely refuse to join a kinetic war against the world’s greatest nuclear power. Therefore, they would be limited to sending military aid, imposing economic sanctions, and at the very most, excluding Russia from the SWIFT financial system.
These types of economic sanctions were predictable because this is exactly how the West responded when Russia took the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine in 2014. Strategically, Putin chose to invade now because the U.S. and E.U. would be incapable of mounting a more serious response at the end of the global long-term debt cycle when their economies faced record high-debt levels, the highest inflation in 40-years, and supply chain shortages fomented by lockdown policies implemented in response to covid-19.

Colin Campbell, founder of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil (ASPO), speaks in Pisa in 2006. Officially, the Powers that Be (PTB) ignored the ASPO message, but it could be that they understood it all too well. That would explain many things about the current situation. For two years, we thought that all our problems were caused by a microscopic, peduncled critter. Now, we are back to reality: we are all children of oil, and we cannot survive without it.
A few days ago, I found by chance on my shelves some documents from the 2006 conference of ASPO (the association for the study of peak oil) that I and others organized in Pisa, in Tuscany. The conference had a certain global resonance: it was sponsored by the Tuscan government, hundreds of people from all over the world came to attend, and the international media commented on it. It was part of a wave of interest on peak oil and its consequences. Just as another example, see the leaflet on the right that I also found rummaging among old documents. It announces a meeting to be held in the Tuscan countryside in 2004, titled, “The Party is Over“, and subtitled “How to exit from the petroleum-based economy”
Today, it looks as if these things are a hundred years old. How was it that there was an age in which you could express this kind of subversive thoughts in public and be given some space in the media? And how could we delude ourselves into thinking that we could have convinced that nebulous entity called “humanity” that we were running out of our natural resources, crude oil in the first place? Even more subversive, that we should reduce consumption and move to renewable sources before it was too late?

In World War II, we Americans did not go to war with Germany for Great Britain, when it declared war on Hitler’s Germany and then was defeated in France. We went to war with Germany only when Hitler declared war on us, four days after Pearl Harbor in December 1941.
When several NATO nations revealed that they had dozens of Russian-made MiG-29s, the idea arose to fly them to Ukraine and turn them over to Ukrainian pilots familiar with the MiGs.
America would provide F-16s to replace the MiGs.
Poland had an even better idea. Warsaw would fly its 27 MiG fighter jets to the U.S. Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. The planes would be turned over to the Americans there, repainted and flown to Ukraine.
How to get the MiGs to Ukraine’s pilots would be left to the Americans.

In the years prior to the new millennium, most readers of George Orwell’s novel “1984” would have considered the book to be a stark warning to mankind. However, in light of world events over the last 22 years it appears Orwell’s book was, instead, an instruction manual for the world’s financial elite.
The setting of 1984 took place in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic Great Britain which was a part of “Oceania”, a world super-state alternately engaged in never-ending warfare with two other global powers: Eurasia and Eastasia.
The INSOC Party was a totalitarian regime led by a figurehead known only as “Big Brother” and the “Ministry of Truth” promoted war hysteria to unite the citizens of Oceania by continuously broadcasting propaganda that simultaneously subverted autonomous thought and action.
Today, it appears the U.S. Military Industrial Complex of which President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned in his 1961 farewell address, has assumed the role of Orwell’s Oceania; along with the other English-speaking nations that comprise the “Five Eyes” global surveillance network: Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. In endless propaganda purveyed to rile and unify the masses, this Anglo intelligence apparatus ostensibly wages war against Islamic terror, Russia, China, and Covid-19, alternately, contingent upon which puppet politicians are appointed to rule at any given time.
