First wife’s Aunt actually did just that in Fort Collins Colo. They stopped and tied poodle to the back of Motorhome, everyone jumped back in and they took off. A passing motorist flagged them down. Long story short, Dog lived but wore pads of feet, suffered road rash to backside. I never liked those damn people anyway.
