Two Miami police officers are under investigation after getting into a fight during a traffic stop, and it was all caught on camera.

Police said a uniformed police officer, Marcel Jackson, pulled over Lt. David Ramrest, and that’s when a physical altercation broke out.

According to Jackson, Ramrest was speeding and wouldn’t stop when Jackson initially tried to pull him over. Jackson said he pursued Ramrest for a couple of blocks before Ramrest pulled over.

Video from Jackson’s personal GoPro camera showed Jackson asking Ramrest for his driver’s license and proof of insurance. That’s when Ramrest opened the door and appeared to lunge at Jackson. It is unclear why Jackson had his GoPro camera with him, and the Miami Police Department does not have dashboard cameras.

Several officers on the scene tried to separate the two men.

Once Jackson realized that Ramrest was a lieutenant in the Internal Affairs Unit, and veteran of more than a couple of decades, he allegedly put the camera between the seats, but kept rolling the audio.

Cops fighting each other. Kind of like lawyers suing one another. It’s all good. If only they’d leave the rest of us alone.

It looks like they were both resisting arrest. Too bad they didn’t shoot each other dead.

Of course, the copfuk pulled over for speeding didn’t get a ticket. Laws for them …. laws for us.

Stucky, you would have been charged with assaulting a police officer , resisting arrest , reckless driving
, speeding and drunk driving .Two are felonies so you would end up in county jail for a couple years. Then on probation for a couple more ,Then the cop would claim emotional distress and demand 5 million.

I suppose Internal affairs will be investigating this incident. Yeah.

Reminds me of a local cop I once knew. He’s out of town a lot and brags about how he speeds all the time. Gets pulled over a lot. Brags how he just shows his badge and is sent on his merry way.

Yup, like the spouses of nurses and doctors. No waiting lists, they go directly to the head fo the line for tests, surgeries, consultations, this told to me by a nurse girlfriend I once had. Shoulda married her I guess.

As good a time as ever to introduce this

Aside from the irrelevant Trayvon reference (and the music style that some won’t like), it’s a decent soundtrack for the copfuk thread.

At 1:49 the cop closest to the camera pulls his gun just as he comes out from behind the Marlboro sign. He holds the gun down at his side until 2:00 when he re-holsters his gun. That was close!
