IT’S COLD OUT THERE

It was six degrees with a wind chill of ten below this morning when I left for work. Why do government drones buy stop lights that completely fail when the temperature drops below 10 degrees? Do they actually think winter doesn’t happen in PA? The light to get on the PA Turnpike was completely out this morning. There are five lanes of traffic, with turning lanes, converging onto the turnpike.  There were reports from all over Phila. of lights being out or stuck in one position. All I ask of the government boobs is to fill pot holes and keep the stop lights functioning and they can’t do either. This country is a lost cause of incompetence, wrapped in ignorance, shrouded in apathy.

It was -14 in Minneapolis on Tuesday night 1/6/15.

But that doesn’t stop the fucking idiots from wanting more bike lanes and light rail. Who the fuck is going to use that shit with winters like this? The answer is niggers that want to go to the liquor store, Popeye’s and the welfare office.

Things will be better for you, Admin, once they install lanes for your driver-less car.

Jim,Stuck and HSF are invited to move South where it’s warmer.

I’ll give you Southern names once you get here so that no one will know y’all are Yakees.

Stuck…you’re Stuck Bob….don’t worry Stuck any name with Bob added to it is Southern.

Jim….your name is Skeeter….What address should I send your NASCAR fan membership to ? Perhaps in care of Knustler ?

HSF….you’re a farmer so your name is Bubba. Make sure you wear a John Deere hat for a few months to complete the assimilation.

Happened to be in Vermont for the last couple days. Wanted to catch a day of skiing. Today was the only opportunity. When I got there at 10 am it was -10F (real temp) and about -30F windchill halfway up (the top of the mountain was closed). Given the six layers of clothing I had on, I wasn’t cold, but conditions were icy since it had been 47F for a few days a few days ago. I met my goal of not dying. I’ll be glad to be back in MN where it’s warm.

They’re too busy “serving you to death” in millions of other ways you never anticipated you needed.

You’re complaining about 6 degrees? Hilarious! I’m happy in the winter when the temp is a positive number.

Admin, you must inhabit the innermost ring of hell. Even here in Massachusetts where corruption is a sport that you can letter in for your high school team, the street lights always work. My god, someone’s worse than us . . . and not Rhode Island!

It was 27 degrees here in Dallas when I went to bed. Once we had a Yankme come to work at Love Field on the tarmac. What a woos. The difference was the humidity. Wet cold will go thru your clothes like a knife. Yes, I did work in Ohio at one time cold. But dry.

And pick up the garbage. My neighborhood has that one covered. We pay for it ourselves, in addition to private, not public, fire service. Works fine. No glitches. Stop lights and pot holes on country streets are another story. Horrendous.

Here in Fairbanks, we have one of the mildest falls and winters on record (so far). Rarely got below -20, and been in the teens and 20s most of the time. Meanwhile, Anchorage went an entire calendar year without going below 0, for the first time on record, I believe. Ha. And gas finally dropped below $3/gal-life is good (but not the state budget).

Gotcha beat ASIG, it hit 72 today in SoCal. Just went for a walk with Berkies and a t-shirt.
I did hear about frozen pipes at my Gdaughter’s house today in Central Indiana, frozen DRAIN pipes!

OMG. I worked at Tinker AFB and Will Rogers airport. Many lights on the highway didn’t work because they, crazy ass boomer sooners, were stealing the copper wiring. They would pull up to a street light, remove the cover, tie it to their pickemuptruk, and stomp the throttle.

Nice people, but fuk, really?

LMAO

Currently 65, going up to 78 (It did get cold at Christmas time — went down to 48 for a day or so)

Raining lightly — first rain we’ve seen since late October.

Whenever I spot a woman who is obviously cold like the one above, I usually try to warm her with the use of my infrared vision, now you know.

You can always spot the Yankee transplants, they walk around in tees and shorts on a cold day when the temp outside is 58F and the wind chill is 54F. The same go to ski areas to enjoy real winter weather.

On the other extreme, the beautiful blonde fires up the heater to 79F when the outside air is 60F. She goes outside wrapped in a parka to have a smoke. I go outside to cool off.
