A growing number of people think a lot of this very high tech is actually out there but only in usage by the “Breakaway Civilization”. If you want to check it out, Rich Dolan has done a great job investigating and he’s far from being a “kook”. His website is http://www.richarddolanpress.com/

> 5) Pills to make you skinny.
Well there was Fenfluramine (banned), and the ever-popular “real” Amphetamines (e.g. Dexamphetamine), which combined the “advantage” of fairly rapid weight loss with increased alertness / energy. Downside was the fairly regular florid psychoses and long-term psychological / physiological effects (“Meth Mouth” and similar symptoms are characteristic of ALL Amphetamine addiction).
Right now, maybe the “safest” means of gradual weight loss would be Metformin – 2 – 3g daily as a divided regime with food, providing your renal function is OK – and also with the proviso that said renal function (UEC) is checked regularly (monthly for the 3g regime). You “should” see some gradual reduction over a period of 3-4 months.
