Christianity vs. Islam: From a Child’s Perspective

Islam has oil the world covets, and Islam will be the spark.

Putin says he’s a Christian. Obama says he’s a Christian.

The guy who pushes the button unleashing Nuclear Hell, and the guy responding (does it matter who does it first?) will be a Christian. Think about that.

Religion will kill us all …. assuming the bees don’t die out first, or Fuk-u-shima doesn’t kill ocean life, or a solar flare wipes out the earf, or …..

Train up a child when he is young, and when he is old he’ll be true fuknut fanatic.

ISLAM Rocks!

Religion does not kill people .Human evil ,human idolatry along with pride, hate , envy ,greed ,lust .All different types of coveting. The evil this produces in the heart of man is what kills people. It’s only going to get worse because sin cannot be removed from our bodies.
,
Stucky ,if I could get my hands on nuclear weapons I would use them right here in America. I would be willing to kill part of it in order to save the country. I’m I evil.?

bb, you really are a lost cause, and guys like you scare the shit out of me.

Yes, religion kills, though governments kill more.

However, there is no body count like the death toll that ensues when available resources start to contract like a telescope folding up. We’re at about that hour. We are in severe population overshoot relative to essential resources like oil, fresh water, and arable land, here in the U.S. as well as in the poorer countries.

So far, plentiful fossil fuels have squared the difference between our resources here in the U.S. and elsewhere in the Western word… and in the MENA countries as well, which places are hugely overpopulated relative to their ability to produce food in that most arid place on Earth. The copious amounts of fossil fuel washing through our economies for the past 100 years has made it possible for 3 people to produce food for 100, by dumping chemical based fertilizers on land with maybe an inch of topsoil if even that. That fuel has built thousands of heroic water diversion projects that make it possible to even live in places like Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or other sand cities, let alone support huge populations and grow water-guzzling crops.

What will happen when we can no longer maintain the water and road infrastructure in this country, especially in the west? What will happen to food supplies, even in wealthy countries that still have some decent farmland in places where you don’t need irrigation, when we no longer have the fossil fuels available to make chemical fertilizers?

How much scarcity would, say, a 15% reduction in available fuels, worldwide, mean? What will happen when manufacturing world wide drastically (even more than now) contracts because energy costs have made a lot of our current economic activity, hopelessly costly and uneconomic?

Well, food will get expensive- very, very expensive. And so will essential medicines and vaccines, and routine medical treatments.

And life will become very, very cheap.

Chicago , it guys like me that run the world . All the elites of the world are religious. They worship the gods of Keynesian economics (central banking),Fascism ofsome sort or some pagan god of nature. Everyone has a worldview and it is guided by religious beliefs (assumptions , presuppositions)of how this world works.Do you agree ?

Stuck – see what happens when you post fluff? Nut jobs pop up.

Bb – that is some sick shit, joke or not.

On a serious note, here is why I have no intention of being involved in any “uprising”: the majority of folks are supportive of the current situation. Who am I to try to inflict my will on them? I do not see that situation changing. The majority will not wake up.

So I see this will end in crisis. There is no other option. Then folks will need to band with like minded individuals in an effort to survive.

Folks are choosing this path. They are of course being influenced, but you cannot help stupid.

Live by the vote, die by the vote. It sucks but there it is.

Ipoh, never figured you for being one to let the FSA impose their will on you.

Or fuck sake, Overthecliff, they FSA has been imposing its will for 100 years now – ever since the passing of the 16th amendment allowing income taxes. That simply allowed folks to take from the productive and give to the unproductive. It took less than a nonosecond for free shitters to figure that out.

That sytem will continue until it collapses. It is the “will of the people”. It is the system we have – who am I to change it?

The FSA actually started even before the income tax, Ilpoh. It started with outright cash subsidies to the railroads, namely Union Pacific, to build track in the west, and with the Homesteading Act and Reclamation Act, which were passed to first provide a “safety valve” for the teaming poor populations of the eastern cities, and, when it became obvious that nobody was going to make it farming in the arid west without massive irrigation projects that these hardscrabble farmers couldn’t begin to afford on their own, to provide water in places way short of it.

And that, of course, is why we needed the federal income tax, so we could finance all this mis-investment, AND finance the empire building we started around 1890.

The problem with the opinion of some who believe that those of the Christian faith would support the mass annihilation of another race is that they overlook the fact that Satan is the overlord of all things earthy and thus has more influence in the affairs of man , more so than God in heaven….by design.

Matthew 7:14
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 4:8

8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven

Everything one needs to know about how to be a good Christian is contained in Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5-7&version=ESV

19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust[n] destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.[o]
