I had the great privilege of attending a screening at Fox Studios along with George C. Scott before the release of this magnificent film, “Patton”.
The rumour was going around that Patton’s son threatened to kill the director if he made the movie. He expected a hack job I’m sure, since the whole anti-Vietnam thing was goin’ on then.
As it happened, the movie was completely even handed in it’s treatment of the old war horse. I think the son quietly and happily shut his mouth after viewing it.

Fuck Patton.
Dude rode against his own during the Bonus Army march in DC. Patton was a Major at the time and in charge of a squadron of Whippet tanks. Eisenhower was also a Major and took part. Mac was there too…
Get this – the guy who literally saved Patton’s life in WWI – I mean, honest to God Hero shit – goes up to talk to Patton. Dude wouldn’t give him the time of day and had him physically removed.
What a fuckstick.
In WWI, the guy literally braves machinegun fire – running and dodging like a motherfucker – to retrieve one Lieutenant George Patton who had gotten himself shot and was bleeding out. Carries him to safety and literally saves his life. Patton said at the time he was the bravest man he ever knew, hands down. Dude got decorated for his valor.
Fast forward, that fuckstick Patton – who owes a life-debt to this guy – won’t even hear what he has to say, denies knowing him and then has his goons physically remove him.
I give a shit what he did afterwards. The guy was a true Blue Falcon motherfucker. Fuck him and his whole bloodline.
