I am so sickened by our Congress, I was hoping for some Divine Intervention while the Pope was there in the form of a well placed bolt of lightning. Unfortunately, I think part of the “judgment” that we will have to see and endure on our once great nation is to see our political leaders continue to bestow whatever remains of the country’s monies on their mindless fsa until there is no longer the ability to hide the facts any longer.

Individually, it is not our fault and our children can survive whatever we have taught them to survive because of God’s Grace.

Collectively, we have destroyed liberty and created a generation of lazy worthless sloths who believe that they are entitled to everything that we have worked hard to build and if we don’t hand it over willingly, they will take it by force.

I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.

Almost every single European culture has a “sleeping king under the mountain” mythos… the exiled Hero waiting until our situation is dire…

The War Christ and Sleeping King mythos resonates with the European man precisely because our tradition is riddled with the story of the exiled hero who returns as conqueror. If ever there was a unifying European story it is the betrayed, vengeful hero and sleeping king.

The most famous, King Arthur, sleeps under a mountain with his knights, waiting for his country’s direst hour. Fionn mac Cumhaill and his warriors sleep under a mountain waiting for the signal to return. Holger Danske sleeps and waits under Kronberg Castle. Charlemagne and Barbarossa wait under a mountain to return as emperors. Vlad Dracul, the Impaler, who terrorised the Ottoman Muslims in life, rests in death and waits to return and resume his work. St. Wenceslas sleeps under Blanic mountain with a magic sword. Twelve knights and twelve horses wait in Sweden, asking ‘Is it time yet?’ Every European nation and region has a sleeping king myth. The War Christ is the unification of all these myths.

Modern, effeminate Christianity has sapped our will and our strength, and wounded us gravely…

In Hell, everyone is equal.

The Comparative Merits of Tolerance

Rejection = disbelief + opposition
Tolerance = disbelief + passivity
Submission = disbelief + support
Denialism = belief + opposition
Acceptance = belief + passivity
Celebration = belief + support

It is surely a sign of how progressive we have all become that we can move so nimbly between Rejection and Celebration these days, no? (Perhaps another category is needed to describe criminalising people for failing to celebrate things that were illegal less than five decades ago…?)
