She may not have had time to prepare for the hearing, but she did have time to ombre her hair.
This system- even if you love it and want it to succeed- is on life support. If you built a house with that lack of interest and attention to detail it would collapse, if you planted a garden with that attitude it would produce only a fraction of its potential. And yet I am certain she is handsomely compensated, richly praised and comfortable in her work environment at the expense of serious and industrious people who put in full effort in order to scratch by.

Well, then, you can always hope that he’d contracted a nice case of anisakiasis, a parasitic gastrointestinal nematodal (roundworm) infestation associated with the consumption of raw and/or marinated fish. Or perhaps fasciolosis, infestation with trematodal parasites (fluke species).
Even though these are relatively rare consequences of such dietary intake, they’re something to think about and regard fondly, no?
