The funniest scene was Shelly Winters swimming in the radioactive water. I loved how Moses Heston drove his Hummer up the side of the volcano.

Besides the friction involved, is there some other component to volcanic eruptions that generates lightening? From that video there is lightening evident in the very first second. I would expect more lightening is an ash explosion like Mt. St. Helens but this one seems to be mostly molten lava. Awesome video.
