With so many people offing themselves, perhaps we need to set up a national “exit survey” website so we can get an accurate picture of exactly why they’re doing it.

Not really, that is an age group with high health and a low death rate with death from anything other than accident or suicide being unusual.
Intentional harm/suicide was much lower prior to 2008.

The United States is #50 in suicide ranking.
About 2/3 of suicide deaths here are by gun, but as much as gun controllers want to blame our suicide rate (which is actually low in spite of their claims) on guns Japan is ranked at #17 with a 50% higher rate than ours and has virtually no privately owned guns.

simple carbohydrates, plain sugar, and soft drinks…
as well as people eating non-food (chips and the like),
as well as eating toxic sweets. Foods in boxes and bags
have to tolerate a long shelf life, thus are filled with
preservatives = poison. Add beer and cocktails,
a sedentary work environment/home life and the
poor heart fails.
Further, there are dozens of anti-hypertensives, direct cardiac
meds, statins, and the diuretics that weaken the system considerably.
Truth be known, there are few cardiac “conditions” that can’t be
remedied with diet and movement/activity.
