Malvern Prep is one of the most prestigious private CATHOLIC all boys high schools in the state of PA. The annual tuition is $31,500. The average SAT score is 1,230 out of 1,600. All the students go to college. And evidently their guidance counselors offer free sex education. This 40 year old married chick kisses a 16 year old and proceeds to send him hundreds of emails begging him to have sex with her. She must be psycho. And she’s guiding teenagers???
Fmr. Malvern Prep coach admits pressuring teen for sex
A former swim coach at Malvern Prep pleaded guilty on Monday to pressuring a 16-year-old into a sexual relationship.
Prosecutors say Feeney told the boy she could get him into Harvard in exchange for sex.
Emily Feeney was sentenced to five years’ probation and has to register as a sex offender for the next 15 years.
Feeney, who 40 at the time of her arrest, was also the Director of College Counseling at the prestigious private school in Chester County.
The investigation began last May.
The teen victim told investigators that Feeney had been sending him inappropriate emails and text messages since 2014, when he was 16 years old. At one point, Feeney kissed the boy, investigators say.
The messages included a topless photo and other pictures of herself in various stages of undress, the D.A.’s office said.
She also allegedly sent such messages such as “I adore you – always have, always will.”
Another allegedly read “If you ever cared about me, please don’t shut me out. It’s too painful.”
The victim told investigators he repeatedly told Feeney to stop, saying “I’m not interested in you, end of story. I’m 16. I’m not into you.”
Despite the teen’s rejections, Feeney continued her pursuit, the D.A. said, telling him she could use her connections to get the teen into Harvard.
She even forwarded him a message from Harvard saying the teen was a candidate for the swim team, saying “you owe me big time.”
In another message, Feeney allegedly said “If you’d… just stop fighting and let it happen, you’d be a lot less uptight and much happier.”
Investigators said hundreds of emails were recovered after a search warrant. They say Feeney was sending messages from her Malvern Prep work email account.
OK. So, somebody thought that in an ALL BOYS school (unnatural and dumb, imho) that “Hey, what the fuck, let’s have a WOMAN swim coach!”). Yeah, what could go wrong?
Nail the woman. A woman teacher who fucks around with her teen boy students, is doing every bit as much damage to the kids as is a male teacher who gets a teen girl student pregnant.
I have to admit I’m incredulous when I read stuff like this, because I cannot for the life of me understand what a woman over the age of 20 finds attractive in a young boy. They are just too raw and childlike to register as “men” in a normal woman’s mind. All I can figure is that when adults spend too much time around children, they regress to a childish emotional level themselves. I saw this happen with many of the teachers in my high school, where a number of teachers sacrificed the respect of their students and made themselves ridiculous by aping teen dress and slang. What’s worse, they adopted teen values, with their emphasis on physical appearance, being up with the latest fads, and living in the biggest house with the wealthiest parents. Lost was the perspective and judgment that only adults can provide for children. And, yes, there were a couple who went further, including one woman in her 30s who dated the boys, and a couple of male teachers, both athletic coaches, who were notorious for sexually harassing the girls.
Perhaps we should make all teachers of youth take unpaid one-year sabbaticals while allowing them to retain their seniority, so that they can do something unrelated to education and be among adults, to restore their perspective.
Just like the perps in the real mass shootings, the female teachers who pursue teenage male students are generally on SSRI drugs.
They are, quite literally, crazy pills.

Your sabbatical idea is interesting, but anyone with half a spine should get plenty of purely-adult time on summer vacation. Most of us dream of a job with a mandatory 2.5-3 month vacation each and every year.

Persnickety, not only would a one-year sabbatical get the teachers out of the world of children for a while, but it would restore their perspective in other ways.
Every teacher I’ve ever known, for example, thinks that teachers are the most overworked, underpaid, downtrodden and exploited class of workers in the universe. They really believe this! They have absolutely no idea how the rest of the world lives. They have no idea that most of the world has to work at least 8 hours a day, 12 months of the year, and often doesn’t even get two weeks of vacation… and, most of all, do not have jobs where it would literally take an act of the state legislature to get you fired, and where you can be bounced out the door tomorrow on someone’s whim, even though I realize that teachers in private and parochial schools face conditions that much more closely resemble those the rest of us deal with in our work lives.

Maybe I’m just an Old Fart, but when I was 16 I’d have hit damn near anything. I doubt I’d turn it down, and know for damn sure I wouldn’t have whined to my father about it.
More importantly, the idea that a 16 year old is a “child” is kind of silly. Yeah, I know all that bullshit about developing brains, etc., but we as humans are evolved to start pairing up and forming families at or about that age. Hell, if he had raped her, he’d be “tried as an adult” in court and sent to Rockview Prison or some such. Giving him rides home from the dance and getting all excited, talking about drugs, alcohol, driving no license and sexual comments. Adult supposed to tell them not to do all that not suggest it.
