Aw, Mrs. Reagan’s “Just Say No” idea wasn’t all that bad. I figure that those whose happiness relies on mind-altering drugs are pretty much losers, anyway. While I equate moderate smoking of Sweet Grass as about like moderate drinking of booze, the NEED, the IMPORTANCE aspect is for losers. (Owning a night club in an entertainment district was educational.)

Pres. Reagan? His foreign policy led to the end of the Soviet threat. His tax policy not only led to a revival of the economy, it increased the tax take of the feds without hurting the private sector–in one of the longer-running boom periods of the economy. And he rejuvenated the American spirit after the misery that was Carter.

If your answer to each of the foregoing questions was “Ronald Reagan,” the most “conservative” president in all of modern American history, to hear the anti-Trumpsters tell it, then you can go to the front of the class!

And while Reagan was governor of California, he didn’t just support the Therapeutic Abortion Act.

He made it law.

The lists above leaves one in no doubt that it really doesn’t matter who is elected as President.

It should also be remembered that a President can’t do crap that costs money without the approval of Congress as Congress can de-fund anything it doesn’t like.

Same with State Legislators. That’s why this year, Old Muck will vote for anyone not currently serving in the Florida legislature. The incumbents have all gotten too big for their britches, ignore any and all inputs from the public who they are supposed to be serving and are slaves to Big Sugar and all the other industries in their districts. If we can get rid of 25% of the bastards, it will be a great leap forward for the State of Florida.

Florida illustrates the worst political machine South of Chicago and has a Governor who hears no evil, speaks no evil or sees no evil – just an automated pen in a suit who has accomplished nothing, taken credit for anything he deems positive (whether or not) and ABSOLUTELY worse of all, refuses to take action to start the clean up on Florida’s springs and lakes. Our springs and lakes are of superior importance to the state, our tourism and our health, yet Governor Scott will not initiate a single program to allow the State Bureau of Environmental Policy to at least start the process of studying what can be done and at what cost.

He’s another one who has unearned my vote.

I hope Nancy’s old, ugly body falls out of her casket.
