Bullshit. If there’s methane bubbling up in that water, is from natural sources antedating anything done by the sorts of deep-strata drilling required to get at levels where dirigible (more or less horizontal) drilling can access shale in which it’s productive to inject concrete casing materials, fractionally perforate those lateral bores with small explosive charges, and undertake hydraulic fracturing of the gas-and/or-oil-bearing rock to force the release of usable petrochemicals.
By the way, deep-core shafts, followed by “spreading out” dirigible drilling, case casting, selective perforation, and hydraulic fracturing is what’s meant when somebody says “fracking.”
There are plenty of instances when “burning springs” like this one (note that it’s not the whole fucking river that’s on fire, but just a specific patch of it) have been known for thousands of years to occur without any human intervention at all. Methane seeps come with any rocky planet that results from slamming together billions of megatons’ worth of carbonaceous chondrite planetesimals.

The ridiculousness to which these politicians go to extract funds from the people (in this case it would be the Americans citizens supporting terrorist killings) via Obama giving 500 Million to the Climate Fund, from which Abbas now has his hand in the jar.
