S.Q.O.T.D. — The Wall (again)

First of all, I am NOT asking if controlling illegal immigration should be a priority.  Of course it should be!  A nation unable to control its borders is no nation at all.  That being said ….

Q1:  Do you really believe Trump will actually build a wall?

Q2: Do you really believe it will keep out all illegals …. especially the worst elements of them?

Q3: If you answered “no” to either question, then isn’t Donald a dumbfuk for continually bringing this up?

I honestly think all this wall-bullshit could cost Donald the election. It’s such a stupid fucking idea … for a very real problem.

I think Donald should listen to John Oliver ……

…. and not to these funny ladies.

I believe he will try, but I doubt he will be able to force mexico to pay for it. Do I believe it will keep illegals out? Ive said this numerous times, and just gotten downvotes, not one of them has bothered to explain to me how it is I am wrong, but here goes again: no wall, mine field, or moat full of alligators is going to keep illegals out as long as there are huge economic incentives to come here. If the welfare state is not dismantled, it will do nothing. People will still find a way over, under, or around it. Once here, they can get section 8 housing, free education, free healthcare, food subsidies, assistance with utilities, cash assistance, etc. Just by sneaking into this country illegally, and (especially) having a child here, they can achieve a far higher standard of living in the US while doing NOTHING than they ever could working in their home country. Until that welfare state is dismantled, no, building a wall wont fix the problem.

as for your last question, no, donald isnt a dumbfuk for constantly bringing it up, he is smart for doing it, because he wants to win. The dumbfuks are the simpletons who listen to him and think this is a workable solution. It is red meat for republican voters, who are mostly simpletons. Simpletons like simple sounding solutions. Just put up a wall and the problem is solved. It also avoids the insanely tough fight the donald would have with congress dismantling the welfare state. The dems would never stand for taking away any of that stuff for anyone, and as long as there exists a sizable number of them in congress, he would never get a budget on his desk to sign that didnt include funding for all that shit. So, even if he wanted to, he couldn’t dismantle the welfare state. But, maybe, he can build a wall, which won’t actually solve anything, or be very fiscally conservative, but he CAN say he did it.

Also, he will have to add yuuge numbers of border patrol/ICE agents along the entire border, building up the police state that “small government conservatives” pretend to hate.

1. Yes, look at everything he has built, he has the experience to build and it will be a YUGE legacy piece.
2. Of course not, but most. Gator, your analysis utterly fails to account for the massive failure of action on behalf of ‘our’ Federal Government across all departments. I have family in Border Patrol, and have been privy to years of ridiculous stand down stories. These orders of inaction extend to ICE, IRS, and across the entire federal spectrum. Further ask the Governors of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona how the Feds treat them for trying to uphold the law. Even further, examine the Feds underground advertising campaign inviting hordes to come, promising all to all.

Its obviously not just a wall but the will, and it appears The Don has the will to actually put the Federal government into action. It will make a YUGE difference.

Just like Nehemiah, he will build The Wall; yes it is one of several needed changes; Trump is right and the dummies are the Americans opposed to The Wall. We need The Wall not dumbed down drugged NWO bisexual Socialist criminal non-citizen voters (and even many Ghost voters) who hate English, the Constitution, Traditional American Values and even want to force US to become Mexicans or Muslims. Dump the NWO not Trump.

ottomatik and rhs jr, your naivety is touching. and ottomatik, it sounds like, based on your statement, all we need to do is enforce existing law, no new wall needed. And its you whose analysis “utterly fails”. I notice you didn’t mention what I said is needed to end this. None of what you say will do a damn thing, except build the police state even bigger, unless the welfare state is ended.

Any analysis or proposal that doesn’t include that is doomed to failure and isn’t even worth discussing. I thought all you guys were for smaller govt, lower taxes, and less govt spending? How will spending billions on a wall, billions on new federal police forces, while CONTINUING to spend billions on the existing welfare state for all the people who go over, under, or around this grand new wall work out? How is any of this helping the goal of smaller government? As usual, “conservatives” are hypocrites.

Gator is right. The only thing that will keep the illegals out is to completely disenfranchise them. No more freebies. Ever wonder why the US has an illegal immigration problem and Canada doesn’t? Because when people come here illegally they get shipped back to where they came from. Oh – and the US is a nice buffer too…. thanks guys!

Huh? Gator are you calling me a hypocrite? Convienent, I doubt you know what a conservative is and forcing me into some imaginary conservative box is strait up retardation.
I don’t give a fuck about conservatism.
I do believe in the Constitution and the very exact borders it defines and is applicable within. It is clear to me we need to control these borders. It can be done with very little additional spending, maybe less than we are spending now, if done correctly.
So your contention is if we end the welfare state no Mexicans will come? What about to work? How about the trillion dollar drug trade?
Do you at least acknowledge the entire Federal Government is on stand down regarding Mexican immigration?
You think Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona wont act? Or Border Patrol wont do their jobs? Or can’t? ICE?

I believe that he will build a wall, and no, it will not keep out ALL illegals just as dismantling the welfare state (a very admirable approach) will not keep out ALL illegals. Let’s face it, if people are determined to sneak into this country come hell or high water, then they will succeed. Now, if this line of thinking makes me a simpleton, then so be it. I’ve been called worse. He needs to build the wall and remove the handcuffs that Barry has put on Border Patrol and ICE. Let them do their jobs, free these people from Barry’s ideological chains. The HNIC cares not what the American people think or desire. His own world view is his top priority.

Dismantling the welfare state sounds very attractive, but it is as much pie in the sky as you may believe a wall is. It ain’t gonna happen. The very fabric of society will be dismantled due to the number of people that rely upon the Federal government for subsistence. Think chaos and civil war. Think martial Law and a dictator. As much as we would like to see the welfare state dismantled, or even greatly pared, I would say don’t hold your dang breath. It won’t be legislated, no way in hell. Barring the total destruction of our system, the welfare state is here to stay, unfortunately.

Of course he will build the wall. Quick. Congress already approved it (the secure fence act 2006). For the first time in a long time we will have a president who doesn’t see the drug trade as a desirable way to prop up Mexico’s lack of an economy. Trump is a game changer. look at all the stupid he is bringing out in his critics.

He wants to tax remittances to Mexico to pay for it. If the worthless, treasonous, garbage in Congress is afraid of losing their seats, it will happen.

I’d like to see illegals punished by 5 to 10 years of hard labor – building the wall.

As I said before, no wall is needed. Simply start deducting zeros from US aid packages sent to Meheeco for every beaner we catch coming across after a certain date.

Finding accurate data on US aid to Meheeco is tough. We send military aid, foreign assistance, humanitarian, economic, medical, technological and many other forms of aid to countries all over the world. Finding one website that lists it all is impossible and I suspect that is intentional.

For my purposes here I’ll just use $500,000,000.00 or five hundred million. It might be more or maybe less but I doubt we’ll ever know for sure.

Assume tRump gets elected and lives long enough to take the oath and issue his first decrees of executive orders (cuz we love those) that the beaner migration to USA ends on July 4th 2017. On July 4th we catch one beaner coming across and aid is automatically reduced to $50,000,000.00. On July 5th we catch another and aid is reduced to $5,000,000.00. On July 6th we catch another and aid comes down to $500,000.00. Then $50,000.00. Then $5000.00. Then $500.00. Then $50.00. Then $5.00. Then Zero! I would also reduce the value of all goods imported from Meheeco by one zero for each sneaky beaner caught.

See how fast that aid drops to zero? After just nine beaners caught all aid ends. One the first day alone Meheecan govt officials will shit themselves like they’d eaten bad burritos from the roach coach. If you don’t think the beaner govt will IMMEDIATELY step in to halt emigration from their country to ours, you are deluded.

Make it a condition of regaining those zeros that they have to first roundup and repatriate 1,000,000 existing illegal beaners from our country. That would require that they take back 9,000,000 beaners plus prevent anymore from coming over to get back to that original half a billion dollars in aid. All we have to do is break out the lawn chairs and sip Margaritas while the cleanup gets underway.

I still prefer robotic gatling guns with interlocking fields of fire all along the border but I’m willing to be civilized about it and reduce aid packages first. Drone strikes on wealthy Meheeco City neighborhoods for each sneaky beaner caught would be acceptable too. Meheecans are stereotyped as being stupid and lazy but they’re really not. You just need to find the proper motivation to spur the Meheecan Govt along to find solutions that work for them.

“C’mon ….. is this REALLY what we want America to become? Really??? Killing/murdering mostly innocent people?”

I’d say it’s MANY decades late to be concerned about “America killing/murdering mostly innocent people.”

I offered a more civilized option first against my own desires. Being killed by Gatling guns with interlocking fields of fire would be entirely voluntary, same as climbing over a wall. Signs with pretty pictures and maybe even video screens for the chronically stupid would be posted warning what is about to happen to them if they cross the line. They would be voluntarily committing suicide. Although it wasn’t my suggestion, the same would apply to mine fields but I don’t like mine fields. Illegally crossing our *cough* border *cough* now, is entirely voluntary. The only thing that would change under my plan would be the well publicized penalty for getting caught.

My Gatling gun solution could also be used to lower the national debt by putting the action on Pay Per View for sick bastards like me.

If you don’t want to hear answers, don’t be askin’ questions.

Bullshit! I realized it long ago. Why do you think your owners are pushing so hard for one world economy or one world govt? The whole border-less European Union is the test case.

True but my Gatling gun “wall” will be VERY effective as it will be an active, automated, indiscriminate system.

Greetings,

I think that when Trump speaks of building a wall, he is referring to a symbolic wall as it is easier for his audience to understand. If you wish to shut down illegal immigration tomorrow then all you would need to do is use asset forfeiture to seize the property of anyone that hires an illegal immigrant. End of story. If you also cut off ALL benefits to the illegals then they would have no option but to return home.

All of that takes too long to chat about so saying “I’m gonna build a wall” is a lot easier for everyone to understand.

Walls have worked for millennia–yet it is presumed that a mega-builder in the 21st century will be incapable of securing our southern border? Who’s the dumbass?

Hungary and several eastern European nations who are opposed to the muslim refugee/invaders running rampant and free across Europe have successfully quelled the illegals with fences and razor wire—I for one will volunteer at least 1 week of my annual leave to go to our southern border and labour for free in its construction. Call it an investment in my grandchildren’s future……..

Its not just a wall, its a complex network of measures, that include NAFTA. I prefer we roll NAFTA back, thanks we tried it but No Thanks. That will surely reduce cross boarder traffic and push it back to longshoreman. Lets just let Boarder Patrol and ICE do their jobs. We could offer a path to citizenship for those here(again, but for real this time), put the teeth in Everify, and return to sanity with little fanfare and no great Law Enforcement mobilization.
This still does not address the 800 pound gorilla in the living room. Drugs, there will still be Yuuge profit margins in hauling drugs across. Primarily Coke, Heroin, and Meth, now that all the weed is grown down the street from me. Best to just ride this wave of change and decriminalize(bone to SSS) or some form of legalization of all drugs.
With all of the above we could practically reverse the flow. The boarder with Mexico will almost be like our boarder to the north, well never, but much improved.
Will not happen, too much money in drugs and economic slaves, both sides.

Stuck – I have zero problem with any nation defending its borders, as that is what defines a country. If a country cannot/does not defend its borders, it is not a country. It becomes someone else’s country soon enough in that event.

They have a right to do whatever necessary to keep people from entering without permission. That said, mines/gatling guns/whatever are extreme for step 1 – there are many other steps that will accomplish the same result, for the most part: denying the illegals bennies/jobs/etc. will do the trick.

But if the less drastic measures do not work, I have no problem sealing the inward borders by any force necessary.

It is the outward borders that must be kept open.

Stucky says:
“But, your automatic Gatling gun scenario borders on Psycho Lunacy. And you want to sell youtube subscriptions to the carnage? Wow. Actually, it’s a pussified way. Be a man! YOU kill that family looking for a better life. YOU mow them down and cut them in half. YOU clean up their guts. Can you do it?”

Not youtube…….HBO, Showtime stuff like that………you know, the Big Time!

Read this next bit carefully: Once the Gatling guns and signs are installed, **THEY WILL BE KILLING THEMSELVES** by attempting to cross no mans land. It’s called suicide.

With modern thermal imagers you could set the automated system up to only fire on human sized/shaped targets. Actually you could set the system up to only hit them in their knees if you wanted to. (I’ve suggested that too to add to the entertainment factor….remember it’s to lower the national debt) With such a system no clean up is necessary. Coyotes, buzzards and blue bottle flies gotta eat too ya know!

I suspect the entertainment aspect won’t be so profitable after the first few weeks as people get the message but you never know. Humans are rapidly regressing in their capacity for intelligence and deductive reasoning.

There will still be official border crossings where non-criminal, disease free, productive individuals who **WANT TO BECOME AMERICANS** can apply and get through in reasonable numbers. We could give them one year to lern engrish and six more months to become ‘Muricans otherwise we ship them back and give some other wholesome beaner a chance.

“More than once you’ve advocated for the annihilation of the entire human race via a virus, or whatever. Your penchant for slaughter and violence is kind of scary.”

Yes I have and I stand by that. We have outlived whatever value we brought to this rock and all the viruses, bacteria, insects and other critters deserve so much better than we can offer.

I have no penchant for slaughter at all and would not participate in any such thing. (Remember falling prey to my Gatling gun thing is purely VOLUNTARY.) What is the option Stuck? Continued consumption, poisoning and rape of the planet to satisfy our insatiable consumerism, greed and penchant for endless warfare and welfare? When exactly does that shit end?

Don’t get me wrong though, I can clearly see and feel the enormous potential for good that an unimaginably SMALL number of humans possess but humans are not wired for good as ALL of human history so far has proven. When GOOD raises it’s ugly head our owners have no qualms about stamping it out if they can’t find a way to profit from it. The human race may have been a good idea in the beginning but it quickly took a wrong turn at Albuquerque. If we weren’t hardwired for greed (which works great if you are a hunter gatherer) humans might have been able to do better. However, greed becomes a tool of self destruction when people no longer have to worry about where their next meal comes from. Greed can mean the difference between life and death for you and your tribe when defending a berry patch or valley with abundant game but not so much when you become a politician, banker, broker or shit like that. Then it becomes all about fucking your fellow man (and even a whole planet) out of as much wealth as you can get even if it impoverishes them to the point of starvation or leaves the planet barren. It’s all good!

Remember Stuck, I did advocate AGAINST my desires for an economic solution as outlined @2:25 above. See? I can be reasonable. I’ve advocated against paying motherfuckers to come here too but economic solutions will not work as long as we have central banks profiting from providing all that economic aid and welfare.

It will require extreme measures to dig the tick like central banker mouthparts out of the productivity of the human race and if you think that will be done without war and MASSIVE death you are deluded.

I recently learned that the massive slave revolt that occurred in Haiti (SantoDomingo) in 1783/84 was possibly the only successful mass slave revolt in history. We are all slaves and most slaves LIKE being slaves so I hold zero hope that the human race will ever fight off their oppressors. Modern slaves don’t even recognize their status as slaves and clamor for more. The slave masters are so confident now, they are finalizing efforts to make the Earth one global plantation.

Let’s break this down by the proposed solutions.

– The wall is certainly the common sense solution that will solve the bulk of the problem. You want to keep wolves out, you build a fence. Want to keep your toddlers away from the stairwell, you put up a gate. It doesn’t mean a wolf won’t chew through the fence, or tunnel under it, or your child won’t figure out how to open a gate. But it is a relatively low-cost solution to quickly stop the bulk of the problem. The anti-wallers only argument seems to be that a wall won’t be 100% effective. True, some ingenious foreigners will tunnel under it, exploit a weakness in it, take a raft or a crude submarine, or hide in a shipping container, or wheel well of a jumbo jet. That doesn’t negate the millions who will be stopped by the wall, who will not come because of it. If you don’t believe it, go to a gym that has ropes, and sit and watch people try to climb it. Most aren’t sure if they can, and they get about two or three feet off the ground, before awkwardly dropping to the ground and looking around to see if they were noticed. Most of our tough guy military, the same ones who demand you “thank them for their service” can’t climb a rope or do more than 5 pullups, so I doubt Benita and her kids are going to scale Trump’s wall after a 100 mile hike through the desert.

– Stopping the “economic incentives” alone will never be enough. It’s going to be exponentially harder to end welfare than to build Trump’s Wall. Even so, the only way to truly end all “economic incentives” is to degrade the USA to the point where it is on par with the shittiest of nations. As messed up as this country is, people still get up to collect the trash, the water comes out of the pipes, the stoplights function properly. You can get rid of every vestige of the welfare state and the hordes will still be lined up at the gates; the bulk of the world will always be clamoring to get into countrys run by Whites and Asians.

– Minefields, machine guns, et. al sound harsh, but only to our modern sensibilities. Our ancestors who lived and died by the threats and harsh realities of invasions would have yearned for such weapons to protect their people. It’s also true that you wouldn’t necessarily have to use them. The Germans during WWII had some very impressive, but functionally obsolete battleships that rarely ventured out to sea. However, they were not useless due to the concept of a “fleet in being,” meaning the British had to dedicate significant resources to potentially stopping them, even as the battleships sat mothballed in French ports. So to would be any weapons placed along Trump’s wall. People really wouldn’t want to test their efficacy en masse. The Berlin Wall had pits and dragon’s teeth along it — How many tanks did you see attempting to charge into those measures?

– Holding employers criminally and financially liable is also a great solution. The government loves to collect fines and throw people in cages, so why not let them to do it for a reason that benefits the people for once? If it’s fair that your employment is severely limited and scrutinized for that DUI you got in 1992, why should some douche in a suit get a pass when Juan Guiterrez Golzaelz Ramiez shows up with nothing put a freshly printed Social Security card and the boss claims ignorance? Turn this police state that’s been harassing us for so many years on people who deserve it for once.

– Punishing Mexico is another fine idea. A cruel but realistic rule of the world is that the strong hold power over the weak. Mexico is in no position to take on a USA government finally committed to preserving its own interest. Right now Mexico is using the USA as a dumping ground for its criminals, as a foster mother to relieve pressure on its infrastructure, and as a cash cow for money being sent back to the mother country. Remove the incentives and make it less undesirable for Mexico’s ruling elite to keep its trash than to clash with the USA. Suddenly their own border patrol will be very interested in keeping people in.

It seems to me Trump’s Wall will stop about 80% of the trouble, with throwing a few CEOs and landlords in jail raising that to about 90%. Local law enforcement will pick up the slack when those who do get through eventually run a red light. Unfortunately, a few well meaning old timers on here seem to be perennial cynics. They have been cynical for so long that they are incapable of being anything else, even when we finally have a guy on our side with a chance to win. The only they enjoy more than complaining ad naseum about our problems, is complaining ad naseum about any solutions.
