People need to read this and tell others and read it again every single time they wash their hands after shaking hands with one of these slimy bastards in Congress.
Excerpt: No. 1, there’s just too much legislation introduced to read it all. Most of it is junk. Most of it is intended to fool voters into thinking legislators are working on their behalf. Most of it is intended to empower government at the expense of citizens. Most of it represents ways to confiscate your wealth.
No, this is not a book plug. But it is a column about a new book called, “Confessions of Congressman X.” I don’t think you need to buy it and read, though go ahead if what I am about to tell you represents a revelation to you. An unidentified Democratic member of Congress has written […]
Source: Confessions of Congressman X
Not sure how far an anonymous confession of an unnamed democrat congress asswipe can be judged as truthful.
Do they just pick on democrats? Or are republicans included? I think this will die faster than the Panama Papers.
Not just Demoncrats. Republicraps are included.
This rings true in my sensitively tuned ears humming with tinnitus caused by listening to the bullshit of my military commanders and the screeching bureaucracy that suckles at the teat of the Weapons Manufacturing Industry.
Makes you wonder just who the highest bidders are. Just who does own us. Oh wait the money makers. And they are about to get owned by……..the rest of the word because they are sick of their shit and the rest of the world are finally getting into a position to get it done. The political elite know it a are just getting what they can while they can just like our owners. The fall will be epic. I hope to go early as not to suffer greatly and slowly.
Dang it the rest of the world.
In case readers are unable to “make the jump” with the link, I’ll add some more here.
What does Congressman X have to say?
“Most of my colleagues are dishonest career politicians who revel in the power and special-interest money that’s lavished upon them.”
“My main job is to keep my job, to get reelected. It takes precedence over everything.”
“Fundraising is so time consuming, I seldom read any bills I vote on. Like many of my colleagues, I don’t know how the legislation will be implemented, or what it’ll cost.”
“Voters are incredibly ignorant and know little about our form of government and how it works.”
“It’s far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification.”
“We spend money we don’t have and blithely mortgage the future with a wink and a nod. Screw the next generation.”
“It’s about getting credit now, lookin’ good for the upcoming election.”
Is the book for real?
I have no idea, but what I can tell you from 40 years of covering politics from Sacramento to Washington, it’s TRUE – every bit of it. I don’t know anything about the authenticity of the book. I don’t know if it’s an artful work of fiction designed to further outrage voters or whether is it a clever, risk-free way of making some of the money a real-life Democratic Party member of Congress “needs” to keep his job.

I’m one of those weird people who sometimes act on impulse. When I was in the Tea Party in 2008, I went to a discussion group with OK Senator Tom Coburn answering questions. I didn’t ask anything publicly, but watched his nonverbals closely. After the group dismissed (and trust me, when you are at any sort of gathering with a powerful Congresscritter talking, you get “dismissed” and told when it is over, I stood patiently in line to shake his hand, look him in the eye and ask my question. His answer and reaction confirmed my worst suspicions.
It is true of even the MOST believable of Congressmen that they are in it for their own good.
If you doubt me, please notice that my husband and I have since that time left lucrative gubment contractor jobs to dig in the dirt in the Ozarks and raise chickens and goats. Some corruption is so obviously thorough it can’t be changed; it can only be destroyed or abandoned.
I think that any one of us could have written it but I definitely do not believe that a congressman wrote it.
Good point HSF. That is one of the reasons I chose this particular story to submit. The author poses that question and answers:
[I have no idea, but what I can tell you from 40 years of covering politics from Sacramento to Washington, it’s TRUE – every bit of it. I don’t know anything about the authenticity of the book. I don’t know if it’s an artful work of fiction designed to further outrage voters or whether is it a clever, risk-free way of making some of the money a real-life Democratic Party member of Congress “needs” to keep his job.]
I doubt that I purchase the book, unless it proves to be what I dare not hope for: THE REAL THING.
Don’t just wash your hands.
Pay due diligence to counting your fingers.
I have seen these excerpts and have no doubt it is happening. “We have to pass the bill to see what is in it”, “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”, I did not have sex with that woman,Miss Lewinsky”……….. We could go on for ever with their insulting drivel.
I am not convinced a congress critter wrote the book because they don’t even write the laws they vote on.
The worst aspect is the fact state level politicians have become just as corrupt. Once the citizens lose the support of the state, there is nothing that can fix our problems with exception of total economic, societal, and currency collapse.
Corruption is mandatory. If you don’t pass the smell test none of them want you around. Look at the pariah Ron Paul, its as if he does not even exist. Imagine if he was the norm rather than the sole exception.
This book, if true, is superfluous. We are codependent with our captors. We ask them for permission. We think them necessary to our existence. We re-elect them endlessly and overlook their gigantic crimes while jailing pathetic micro-miscreants for “three strikes and you’re out” candy bar theft. Henry Kissinger, most-prolific living mass murderer is cozily living in his nineties with a wine cellar in Connecticut, while Peter Schiff’s heroically patriotic American tax protester dad, Irwin, died blind with cancer with one hand shackled to his prison hospital bed. How the fuck is that cunt-with-a-dick in the Whore House (or the last one there) at 1600 Penn. Av., Mordor-on-the-Potomac still alive and free? HOW? “We have met the enemy, and he is us.” ~ Walt Kelly (“Pogo”)
Or sure, I doubt the book and get three down, HSF doubts the book and gets thumbs up.
HA!
Has the witch hunt for the author begun yet? If not, it’s simply a distraction. If so, there may be some merit to it. Either way I doubt this book will tell me anything I don’t know or suspect.
What about dem der Snowden Revelations? Are they still forthcoming or have they died on the vine?

Not a whole lot of meat (mostly background), but more on the way.

Already debunked. No congressman write this. It was written by E.A. Blayre III. He lifted the character right from his other book, “America Deceived III”. Even the words are the same. FAIL.
