What part of unfettered right to keep and bear arms do these fuckwits not understand?
Why does the fact that the US won its freedom from tyranny at the barrel of a gun not register with these assholes? That wars were fought on US soil, and hence the precedent is in place that such is possible?
That history has shown that tyranny is only possible if the population is unarmed?
That the safest place to be is among a well armed citizenry.

Dutchman – usually the people need to defend themselves against the police, which is the organization of choice that tyrants use to attack their people. The military are generally somewhat more reticent about attacking their own people, but it has of course been known to happen.
Please note for Exhibit A that the militarization of the police is well underway.

The shooting forces the gay community to recognize that the Islamicist threat is not a hypothetical question regarding throwing gays off buildings overseas, but a real exestintial threat in their own community. Trump has wanted to screen for this threat, Hillary has not. Hillary loses.

It may have gained Trump some support and solidified some unreliable ones, particularly from the fringe Trump supporters who were just barely supporting him, but I doubt it hurt Hillary any at all.
Hillary will not loose enough support to make any noticeable difference, whether Trump gains enough to make a difference remains to be discovered in the next set of polls.
There are other factors that will decide the election unless there are a lot more Islamic attacks between now and the election to push them to the background.
IMO anyway, I may be wrong about it.

Free stuff and greed trump all. Those naturally stupid, those stupid by choice, and those who just want to act on their envy and desire to get things they did not work for are now a majority of voters. Every so often I find myself feeling some hope, then I remember and despair.
See, I live in California where the Bernie supporters have finally come to terms with the fact that they now must throw themselves behind Hillary because the thought of Trump as president drives them into a frenzy. You should see it. Anyways, when I point out to them that Hillary is bought and owned by people that would torture them and/or put them to death, the cognitive dissonance makes their heads give off considerable heat. It is something they are having a hard time with.
She cant go after the gun crowd or use that tired argument about gun laws because this guy was vetted by the FBI as recently as last week when he bought a weapon. The State, I should remind you, licensed and certified that this man was AOK – all of his stuff was legal. After all, he worked for an incredibly large security firm with very close ties to the NSA and the Department of Defense. If they can’t spot a “bad guy” right in front of them then no amount of laws will ever be enough. Dead argument.
Next, its bad enough that her husband is a rapist which makes it hard for feminists – how do they even reconcile that in their minds? Worse still is her vote to authorize Chimpy Bush unlimited world wide War Powers. How can poor brown people support her when she voted for and supported the killing of poor brown people? You cant point to a single successful thing that she’s ever done. Name something, I dare you.
I know it is ever for her when I start hearing diehard liberals talking about how it is over for her like I did all day long today.

it will most definitely hurt her. Trump, in characteristic Trump fashion, will bring it up in every single debate anf throw it in her face. She both helped destroy Syria and Libya and advocates importing more sand dindus. Its a one-two punch that will be very effective. She can’t deny either of those things, and justifying either of them will get more and more difficult as time goes on. I don’t think I’ve ever seen overseas intervention less popular.
Another thing that will hurt her is that if present trends continue, this will probably happen again before the election.
