Of course, the government is standing right behind that sign taking pictures of anyone coming along who reads it and comments on it. This edit feature is very cool! However, I don’t think it will help Stucky at all because it only gives an hour to make corrections and Stucky might change his damn mind about whatever he was talking about two or three times in an hour.

Second edit: It is like having a new toy.

Third edit: The creed is very poignant. I think those words used to mean something to people.

Fourth edit: Definitely better than a new toy.

Hmmm,

I see two different ones unless I’m misunderstanding something. Wikipedia has this as American’s Creed….

“I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the People, by the People, for the People; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; A democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many Sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of Freedom, Equality, Justice, and Humanity for which American Patriots sacrificed their Lives and Fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to Love it; to Support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to Respect its Flag; and to defend it against all enemies.”

I like Admin’s better though.

I could do without the sky spirit part at the end but that pretty much sums it up!

I always figured that if the sky spirits share credit for the good stuff, they should also share credit for the bad.

I think we should teach that in school rather than promoting genderless bathrooms.

That accurately sums up the way I’ve lived my life. I’m in the group that is Hard working, highly productive and I’ve never asked for nor received anything that I didn’t work for.

I particularly like the first two sentences:

“I do not choose to be a common man. I seek opportunity to develop whatever talents god gave me – not security.
