Question of the Day, July 6

We’ll let Stucky handle Killary today. I found the below from the Pastoral Guidelines of Amoris Laetitia published by the Philadelphia Archdiocese. No, I wasn’t reading it, it was mentioned on the radio. How hypocritical is this? No sex in a second marriage because THAT would be wrong.

With divorced and civilly-remarried persons, Church teaching requires them to refrain from sexual intimacy. This applies even if they must (for the care of their children) continue to live under one roof. Undertaking to live as brother and sister is necessary for the divorced and civilly-remarried to receive reconciliation in the Sacrament of Penance, which could then open the way to the Eucharist. Such individuals are encouraged to approach the Sacrament of Penance regularly, having recourse to God’s great mercy in that sacrament if they fail in chastity.

Brought up Catholic….ended in my teens (not due to knowledge or lack thereof). After decades of living and being exposed to humans; learning about priests and their being sex predators and the ‘church’ covering it up – check out the Spotlight movie); learning about the new political pope (dope) welcoming the Musloids to Europe, washing their feet and doing nothing to stop the killing of Christians in the ME; and finally knowing this Pope (anti-christ?) supports the GloBull Warming BullShit ……. put this all together and realize how can anyone be a Catholic?

“No sex in a second marriage because THAT would be wrong.”

How fucking ridiculous can they get? And they wonder why their numbers have been in a dive for a loooong time.

This is IF the Catholic actually follows Church doctrine, which most don’t. Like with birth control, they pick and choose what works best for them. I can’t say I blame them. I believe in Christian values myself (as taught by Christ) BUT the Catholic Church has lost all credibility since the child sexual abuse coverup came to light. It is unrealistic to ask people to be non-sexual. Instead of trying to give people edicts they won’t follow the Church should be trying to get people to STAY married, at least until their kids are grown.

Any dogma which opposes nature will fail. Sex is biological, as natural as taking a leak.

All organized religion is a fraud.

The Roman Catholic church has a long history of turning their brethren away through ridiculous edicts like this bull. I say this as a “catholic” raised and educated but non-practicing as an adult due to shit just like this.

My ex walked out because she was “unhappy.” I tried/offered/begged everything in the book to make things work. Her mind was made up – gone. It sucked and was tough but I’ve moved on. Now if I choose to reenter a Catholic church I’m shunned because my wife left me. That’s total bullshit and the church can go fuck themselves.

Catholicism, like all organized religions is simply a control mechanism. The rules and rituals of these religions are whatever the religious leaders say they are. Does that remind you of anything?

Truth is the scum that controls the former USA is the same scum that controls the vatican.

These eunuchs have no right to tell couples that they cannot express their love for one another with physical intimacy. Why would you be required to go to “confession” and tell the priest that you had sex with your new spouse? This is ridiculous dogma that further separates people of faith from their church. When priests are allowed to marry and women are ordained as priests, is when we will see a church concerned more about the love of Christ than stupid dogma put out by eunuchs and pedophiles!

17 years ago my Catholic wife Fe wanted me to go to Cataclysm with her and I was trying to succeed until we were called in by Father whatever for an interview. He found out I had an ex and suddenly asked when I first committed adultery. I said I wasn’t a Christian then and my ex became a slut who wanted a divorce not me; I’ve since become Saved so it doesn’t matter. He turned to Fe and said he could get her an Annulment. She said no; but I was so mad I wanted to punch the fat jerk. I am a Proud Heretic who avoids churches for several reasons but my dear wife Fe is still a Catholic Dupe. Real Christians should help people not cause divorces.
