So you’re saying that Trump is our last hope?

Interesting.

(note: this might also make you question Princess Leia’s REAL intentions when she tells Obi-Wan that he is their only hope.)

How long have you been waiting to post that?

It would apply as well to Killary. I’m not a fan of either one. The whole mentality of “__ is our last hope” is always going to go towards evil. Doesn’t matter whether it involves RINOs, DINOs, or whatever.

I’m not arguing that Hillary is NOT an enormous threat to humanity. Just that the dichotomy isn’t helpful.

Look at the VP running mates for each candidate. Remember that JFK, a relatively decent man, was killed and then crazy bastard LBJ took over, dragged us into a worthless war in Vietnam that JFK hadn’t intended to stay in, and created the phony “Great Society” that has trapped much of the black population in crime and poverty – while ensuring their votes for their Dem masters. Even if Trump were OK (he isn’t), who’s to say that he wouldn’t get bumped off on a trip to Dallas, and Pence ends up being another neocon?

Persnickety….Not this time.

You need to recall the backdrop in Germany why that slogan for Hitler would have been received with enthusiasm. That is very different than the U.S. today.

It could be applicable to Greece today if they had a leader that had the balls to pull the country out of a depression.

At last, someone interested in talking about the historical context of that poster and slogan.

However, Germany in the Weimar Republic was not only in economic distress, but also in extreme social distress (any form of prostitution you can imagine, and some you probably cannot, was openly available in Berlin) and political distress, with communists a real problem.

The USA today has a sort of shadow depression – real but hidden – but it also has wild social issues and increasingly wild political issues, with the “SJW” concept and some absurd but problematic organizations like BLM. There are real parallels to Weimar.

In the middle of this, the right-wing candidate is a crazed loudmouth who threatens people without much thought. Few people really like him, but to many he seems like a better alternative to nominally left-wing Hillary, another crazed loudmouth, but one mostly focused on being the most corrupt person in all of recorded history. Most Trump supporters don’t love him, they just consider him better than the alternative. Do you?

I dislike Hillary more strongly than I dislike Trump, but I can’t see myself voting for either one of them. We need to get past the false binary, the “you can’t let the wrong lizard win!” mentality that has dominated US politics for a century. Trump is definitely outside the RINO norm, but that doesn’t mean anything good will come of his presidency.

I don’t have a solution for you. I simply have the truthful bad news that neither major party candidate is good.

“At last, someone interested in talking about the historical context of that poster and slogan.”

Nice try. You posted the picture to hint at Trump = Hitler. I pointed it out, now you protest you were really after some kind of intellectual discussion. I’m not buying it; you just saw an opportunity to fling some shit.

No. Not worth arguing with someone so simple-minded either.

If I was on a “Trump bad, Killary good” mission I would have written entirely different things.

Those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it. You are working on being a prime example. Apparently you don’t realize that when Hitler came to power he seemed far more mild and reasonable, and that the main alternative at the time was also very bad.

“No. Not worth arguing with someone so simple-minded either.” And yet you persist in arguing. Huh.

So posting a picture attempting to equate Trump with Hitler, that was the antithesis of simple-minded? That was some kind of highly intellectual exercise?

I read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”, so I am familiar with the history.

I stand by my original assessment: you saw an opportunity to fling some shit and you took it. Now you’re butt-hurt.

So since we’re not arguing here, what’s your solution hmm? Or is a discussion of voting too simple-minded?

The solution is to jolt people out of the absurd theory that voting for a worthless shit who’s D or R is better than voting for someone decent who isn’t in one of the bankster parties. Everyone needs to wake up and back one of the reasonable other candidates. I would prefer Gary Johnson – he’s not great, but better than Trump or Killary – but Jill Stein would probably get broader support and be more likely to win. I don’t agree with many of Stein’s views, but she is not an inhuman monster like Killary or a wildly unpredictable narcissist like Trump.

Why would the .001% blow up their best customers/consumers? Blowing up brown people is their pleasure. Hill is merely an employee, skank that she is.

We will suffer from wealth confiscation yet they still want you to buy, buy, buy. The only thing they will blow up here is your 401K.

Hillary wants the office of the Presidency for one reason; Ultimate Power.
She traded public and private humiliation by her ‘husband’ having consensual and nonconsensual sex with countless women, the paybacks will begin. She basically sold her soul for her connection to power.
She will arrive with an enemies list accumulated over the past 40 years.
The bribes have been paid in advance, just look at her donor list, paid speech lists and the billions funneled to the Clinton Global Initiative renamed the Clinton Foundation as that name polls better.. .
With the media she controls, Terrorist attacks will be turned into gun control legislation.
Anyone complaining about illegals…Your Racist…
Question non-assimilating ‘refugees’….Your Racist…
Amnesty will lead to voting demographics changed in those pesky swing states.
The Supreme Court will be transformed for generations.
In event of economic collapse, confiscation or war….

Harpy is a Stupid NWO Fascist Feminazi Puppet. Trump is an anti-NWO recovered liberal who wants to make America Great again; people that buy the Democrats Dark and Dangerous Hitler speel aren’t thinking straight yet. I served under Carter which was bad but Obama and Harpy would have driven me to quit. Stupid Politicians get us into stupid wars but Harpy is World Class Stupid and would get us into World War III.

Respectfully, Hillary is anything but World Class Stupid. If you really think this is the case, you are severely underestimating her. She is wicked and very smart, all at the same time. That’s what makes her so dangerous.

This also goes for Ben Bernanke, Janet Yellen, and most other folks in positions of power. These people understand what they are doing and they understand the consequences and side effects, even the “unintended consequences” that no one could have foresaw.

Writing their behavior off to stupidity makes you, well…enough said.

Sorry, Gone, but she’s actually stupid; borderline retarded in fact. The evidence is out there, in your face if you care to look. Stupidity is a hallmark of evil. Evil people may have a sort of low animal cunning, but they are basically dumbasses, all of them.

There is an article on Drudge about Julian Assange releasing some 1,700 Hillary Clinton emails pertaining to:

“Weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadist within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails.”

What I didn’t see in that article was when those emails were to be released.

Jay Parker (who was raised by real satanic parents) in his most recent interview. Talks about his parents channeling THE dark entity. He said it was not just evil, but wanted to destroy everyone, even it’s own followers. I think this is what hitlery is like. She thrives on other human’s pain, suffering, blood and death.

I’ve come full circle. Bernie was my choice for a variety of reasons, mostly because his agenda is populist and we need more populism and less corp/mil/industrial complex. But the DNC totally screwed him, and since I donated my hard-earned money to his campaign, I’ve signed onto the class action suit currently in progress against the DNC. Needless to say, I won’t be voting for Hiliary. She really is a threat to Earth and our survival.
Which leaves what? Gary Johnson? I was on Harry Browne’s team in the 90’s so I’m no against Libertarians, however if he gets 5% of the vote they’ll be celebrating.
I like Jill Stein and agree with most of her statements, but once again, if she gets 5% it’s a miracle.
I don’t know about you, but my number one goal in this election is CHANGE. That leaves Trump. He’s promising change, but then hooks up with Mike Pence who’s a shmo if there ever was one. So I can’t tell if he’s serious. He should have picked Pat Buchanan, but that’s water under the bridge.
I’ll vote for Trump and hope above hope he’s sincere and really will do something to reverse this country out of its current path, which is WWIII leaving a cindering ruin which once was our civilization.
