A shocking statement was made by a United Nations official Christiana Figueres at a news conference in Brussels. Figueres admitted that the Global Warming conspiracy set by the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, of which she is the executive secretary, has a goal not of environmental activists to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. She said very casually:
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.”
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. She even restated that goal ensuring it was not a mistake: “This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”
I was invited to a major political dinner in Washington with the former Chairman of Temple University since I advised the University with respect to its portfolio. We were seated at one of those round tables with ten people. Because we were invited from a university, they placed us with the heads of the various environmental groups. They assumed they were in friendly company and began speaking freely. Dick Fox, my friend and Chairman of Temple, began to lead them on to get the truth behind their movement. Low and behold, they too admitted it was not about the environment, but to reduce population growth. Dick then asked them, “Whose grandchild are we trying to prevent from being born? Your’s or mine?”
All of these movements seem to have a hidden agenda that the press helps to misrepresent all the time. One must wonder, at what point will the press realize they are destroying their own future?

These are the forces of creation versus chaos.
She was clearly taken out of context by that quote. It is clearly read as her stating that our current economic systems has the human race on a track of global catostrphe and unless it were to change, it is certain. This is not saying “destroy capitalism” rather, make it better. All we care about now is production and profits, we need to care about that and the health/safety of the world and its people.
Issac…….I will assume you are a good person with good intentions for the world and its future. The problem is that you think that Christiana and Greenpeace, many many others think like you (concern for planet earth) – they don’t.
Many of those people want to see earth’s population down to 500,000. Instead of attacking the population issue (a political no-no) they dream up Global Warming to stop the removal of earth’s resources (for the benefit of future generations). Gaia.
Kokoda: Why do you assume that a person who could spin a cover-up for another’s deception would have “good intentions?” Evil on evil is more like it. The Progressive’s attempt to radically reduce the population and control the world is written in the Georgia Guidestones, and the leftist, propaganda media is very much a part of the mass deception.
The world is changing, and changing at a pace never before seen in recorded history.
It won’t be the same ten years from now any more than the world today is the same as it was a hundred years ago (and that’s the amount of change I expect to see, it will mind boggle most people).

I don’t venture to guess what this woman’s motives are. I don’t know her. However, I do see that this whole Globull warming thing IS about capitalism. The elites capitalism.
See, if you can make up a problem, scare people enough in to believing there is really a problem, and then come riding in with the solution – you stand to make a whole new industry.
Industrial capitalism that the robber barons of the past made their money on, regardless of whether you believe their tactics were good or not, DID solve a real problem. Mechanized industry solved the problem of the limits of the human being and amplified his productivity and efficiency. Think steam locomotion, diesel engines, electricity etc. Actual problems were solved.
Fast forward to today. Our policies over the last 30 years have caused a great brain drain, couple that with the amount of innovation now necessary just to squeeze out a smaller amount of productivity, and you have elites that needed a new “problem” to fix. They could not solve any more actual problems and make the same percentage gains in profits.
Introduce Globull Warming. An unsolvable problem, that requires universal buy-in or else we all die a horrible death and our planet (our home) is decimated. Think Terminator after the rise of the machines. Throw in some animal extinctions, ice sheets melting etc. BTW, things that have naturally occurred for millennia, but most common folk don’t know about, and presto; a billion dollar industry out of thin air. Think Elon Musk.
This is about capitalism alright, just the elites version of capitalism where they make up the problem, then have the solution, enforced at gun point of course.

I texted this article to a somewhat liberal friend (?) this morning, and when I texted him back later about something else, the fucker had BLOCKED me. That’s a first for me. Anon, the Elon Musk jab is ignorant. Technology is advancing rapidly, everything Elon is doing would be great, but is too expensive to make sense. That’s the part that’s changing the fastest. Dirt cheap clean tech is right on the horizen, and it changes a lot of things. As for this beast of a woman, just remember the biggest liberal sales job, which was to change Food stamps to EBT, is shifting gears to change EBT into universal basic income. We need to make the most of the Trump years. Who knows what comes after him.

Is that a woman? What I see is tough looking, masculine something or other (I can not use the word female) without a hint of femininity. Perhaps she is one of those fucked up creatures that is neither male or female. It is not surprising that she attacks the miracle of child birth because she is perhaps excluded from one of the greatest wonders of Mother Nature. How sad to go through life in such a state of despair…I feel kind of sorry for her.
