“I consider it unfortunate that the occasion of my first appearance is one in which I must condemn the aggressive actions of Russia.”

“It is unfortunate because it is a replay of too many instances over many years in which United States representatives have had to do that.

“We do want to better our relations with Russia. However, the dire situation in eastern Ukraine is one that demands clear and strong condemnation of Russian actions.”.

Eastern Ukraine of course is not the only part of the country suffering because of Russia’s aggressive actions. The United States continues to condemn and call for an immediate end to the Russian occupation of Crimea.”

I have a research project for you: could you, with as much objectivity as possible, figure out what the truth is about the dances between Russia, Ukraine, Crimea, and the U.S.? We get played on this issue more or less continually. The truth is elusive, to say the least.

The truth is simple. Right after agreeing to stabilize the Ukraine, the US State Dept. hired neonazi paramilitary forces to overthrow the existing government. Then they provided more money and weapons to attack civilians in the eastern Ukraine, potentially threatening the Russian population and bases in the Crimea, which subsequently voted 95% to escape the Ukraine and rejoin Russia. Neonazis and Ukraine military continue to attack civilians, though avoiding fights with the Russian trained militia.

A major reason many of us voted for Trump was his non-aggression towards Russia, while Hillary was aiming for conflict.

Now we have Trump’s Team Members banging the war drums to Russia.

Trump tweeted “Senators should focus their energies on ISIS, illegal immigration and border security instead of always looking to start World War III.”

Trump on the campaign trail repeatedly came across as a sort of “peacenik”, 180 degrees from Hillary’s track record. I thus took it for granted that his appointees would tend toward this worldview.

So, this sort of anti-Russia nonsense is disturbing. Further, Tillerson’s anti-China comments are also unsettling.

What all this bodes for the future? Damfino, but I see no good coming from it.

I’m not sure exactly what to make of this. The only thing that comes to mind is that Trump could care less what the UN thinks or does and let loose this rhetoric to troll the media some more. After all, the media has gone Full Retard at each foreign policy utterance so he has set a trap for them here. The media must now report on how Tough Trump was on Russia given that they went entirely insane claiming that the Russians ‘hacked’ the election. If they do not, then they again look like the Opposition Party.

My Trump scorecard just went negative.

First Tillerson talks tough about how we are not going to allow China to take over the South China Sea. Then Trump snuggles up to the Netanyahu who believes the only good Palestinian is a dead Palestinian. Then, he leaves the sanctions on Russia. Now his Indian red-neck UN representative spews the same old shit out Russian aggression in Ukraine. WTF!!!

While I didn’t vote for Donald, I felt he was much better than Hillary because he wanted to make nice with Russia and not start anymore stupid-ass wars. But my hopes are being dashed.

When my tin-foil hat is on nice and tight I see Trump following Obama’s path. They both talked the anti-war line during the campaign, but once in office the neocon agenda took over. Makes me wonder if Obama and Trump got a visit from the Dark State after their elections and were told: have fun with all your domestic policies, but don’t fuck up our wars. If you do, you’ll be taking an open-air limousine ride through Dallas.

BTW, thanks for the Carlin video clip Platoplubius, it perfectly sums up our situation.

I agree with RiNS to a certain extent. The Crimean peninsula belonged to Russia forever and was only recently lost to Ukraine in toto..

It is a geo-necessity for Russia to control it as it has the only warm water ports Russia can use in the Winter. Therefore, from a strategic standpoint, that had to take back.. So they did.. They will not give it back. End of story..

Actually, Ukraine had the Crimea before the Soviet Union existed. When the Communist revolution took over Russia and eventually formed the Soviet Union, Ukraine was included in the group. Khruschev was born in a village near the Russian – Ukrainian border, and rose to power under Stalin, eventually serving as governor of the Ukraine before becoming Premier after Stalin died. Khruschev gave the Crimea back to the Ukraine while he was Premier.
Now, under Stalin and most of the Premiers, it was recognized that border provinces might owe less allegiance to Moscow than Russians might; so a policy of re-settling Russians into the border provinces was pursued. The reason East Ukraine has a high Russian population is due to that resettlement policy; it was to ensure that the industrialized, developed East would be loyal to and responsive to Russia rather than provincial Ukrainian rulers. Granted, the shenanigans that Vicky Ruland and Co. created led to the current situation, but there’s little reason to think that Russia would have invaded to restore obedience if they had not provoked it.
The warm-water port argument has a point; but if Nuland & Co. had had the sense to leave well enough alone, we wouldn’t be having this flash-point added to the lengthy list of “where could WWIII start?” now.

Speaking about the controlled media being ALL out against Trump; I posit this question then.
If Trump wasn’t more of the same then why wouldn’t ANY of the major U.S. media outlets cover the “National Prayer Breakfast” with scrutiny?? Instead we get a puff piece about Trump attending this event hosted by Doug Coe and “The Family” (look it up before you try to be clever with your retort!) and Trump bashing The former Governator about how bad the new Celebrity Apprentice’s ratings are!

Who the FUCK CARES about the Apprentice! Never had! Never will!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any of these outlets that supposedly despise Trump could have reported on the attendees of this breakfast with the Brotherhood. Some of the guests included non other than the butcher of Rwanda, Paul Kagame!

Nor should I continue to repeat what George Webb has detailed about the connections between DynCorp (CIA front company), our new acting DHS tzar and Trump’s close economic adviser who happened to be the CEO of DynCorp which is owned by CEREBRUS Capital Management.

Fantasy land is a much nicer place to live in than “closer” to reality; because REALITY IS way more fucked up than anything we could ever have imagined!
None dare call it conspiracy! Over generations and generations of human beings these conspiracies have built upon one another to this point in history and are so gargantuan that the average public-schooled person cannot accept the Truth!

Consider this:
” Since 2013, the nuclear energy arm of the Russian state has controlled 20 percent of America’s uranium production capacity.

Rosatom’s acquisition of Toronto-based miner Uranium One Inc. made the Russian agency, which also builds nuclear weapons, one the world’s top five producers of the radioactive metal and gave it ownership of a mine in Wyoming.

The deal, approved by a committee that included then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, also followed donations from Uranium One’s Canadian chairman to the Clinton Global Foundation, the New York Times reported on Thursday.”

Note that Uranium One, Inc. is an international corporation.
$ was given to the Clinton Foundation (apparently) by Uranium One and Russia
both. Uranium One sold the mining (Wyoming) share to Russia. (Clinton and Obama)
Now Russia is giving uranium to Iran after the refining ban (nuclear deal) was lifted
by Obama. This stuff is more complicated than face value/general facts.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-04-23/how-putin-s-russia-gained-control-of-a-u-s-uranium-mine

Note: Nuke plants fuel 17% of our electricity. The Fukushima disaster is daily
pouring plutonium into the Pacific Ocean and will damage the Northern Hemisphere.
There are 104 active N. plants in the USA. All are past their use by dates. Many are seriously
leaking, the Biscayne Bay, FL. may be the worst. There are spent rods stored all over the
place…I suggest, largely unknown. O wanted all coal shut down, and for the US to be all
nuke plants. Climate Change is a “cover story” for environmental damage. Some
certain world manipulators own control over energy at this time.

My point is that running with “news” and going off emotionally against Trump
may be premature. There is a need to drill down for facts. Remember, we live in a
sea of propaganda. TPTB want us swiveling our emotions as heads during a tennis

The fight isn’t really about how the country is being run right now but how it will look in 20 years. Trump’s Nominee is way better that anything Hillary would have put forward. The real fight is 2020. Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer are getting up there. Maybe they make it to 2025. More than likely at least one takes the big dirt nap.

Been reading the comments. How Trump has failed. That it is more of the same. Best I can tell is some of it is the same. But not all. Yeah he is going to flip. But still things are way better than having deranged lunatics like Madonna, Sara Silverman and Ashley, look at me I’m a fucken’ naastaaay womyn, Judd with the ear of President.

Seriously what other choice was there. Isn’t it better to be shuffled to camp rather than straight to showers. All these “I told you so. Know it all’s” are a bunch of fucken’ whiners. Haven’t heard any better ideas here by Cat and Plat. Maybe they would like to see these lunatics in charge.

See the left senses the urgency. They know what the fight is about. Look no further than increased violence and rhetoric these past few weeks. Maybe he sleeps for a while with the whores in the swamp. So fucking what! For now he needs to play the long game. That’s what I’d be doing. He is the POTUS he can change his mind later but Rohm a bit for now. Twitter away. Build a wall.

Besides he needs to figure out who the enemies are. In the meantime live by the mantra of keep your friends close and enemies closer. When time is right, he can strike and fix any lingering problems.

I’d shoot them where they sleep. Figuratively of course!

In the meantime like Scrabble keeps saying. All Trump has to do is spin the tires for a bit. The left seem more than willing to fail on their own swords.

I am prepared to give Trump the benefit of the doubt for the time being…but the red flags are going up with great frequency. These flags include, in addition to the appointment of warmonger Nikki Haley, too many Goldman Sachs banksters in the administration, friendship with NetanYahoo, a failure to remove sanctions against Russia, bombing in Yemen, threatening China in the South China Sea, trade sanctions against Iran, etc. They are starting to add up and at some point Trump supporters must pull the plug if it is clear that we were once again deceived by someone who promised not to betray our trust. Should this happen, Trump will be taken down and we are on the path to civil war between the people and the oligarchic bankers.
