QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Plunderers of the world, when nothing remains on the land where they have laid waste by wanton thievery, they search across the seas. The wealth of another region excites their greed; and if it is weak, their lust for power as well. Nothing from the rising to the setting of the sun is enough for them. Only they are compelled to attack the poor as well as the rich. Robbery, rape, and plunder they falsely call empire— and where they make a desert, they call it peace.”

Only fools cannot see that visiting devastation on one’s enemies creates a peace. Look at Carthage-reduced to a desert. And peace reigned.

Our leaders today cry over the casualties produced by an airstrike yet develop weapons to make Moscow into a devastation so awful that Carthage would appear to be a paradise.
