Yeah, Amen to that.

A true free market solution to a half a dozen problems is needed.
This is what a real SHTFP looks like:

You know how that works…
Problems? What problems?
The only problems are made or imagined by non-Progressives!

At some point, we will see, the political cowardice is becoming more apparent. When the elites start getting scorched by terrorism it will then become a problem, until then it’s just the cost of doing business. The general population are the grist for the mill. Take out a major world capital and the equation will suddenly change, it will happen, which capital will it be?

The Brits are deploying the military on the streets-is it because they fear another attack or the politicians want to appear as being pro active?

In case you didn’t get the memo, the government wants terrorism.

That way, they have an excuse to limit freedoms even more.

The correct solution would be to expel all the muslims, or at the least stop bringing them in. Seriously, as if they could afford transportation.

That had to be done once before in history, back in the middle ages.

It solved the problem for centuries afterward.

They could march them back to Europe through the Chunnel, since the French are so willing to have them.

This same statement could be said regarding our current economic mess ($20Trillion in real debt and $250+Trillion in unfunded liabilities), our out of control government (Read the book “Three Felonies a Day – how the Feds target the innocent”), our out of control two-party oligarchy, our massive loss of property rights, our loss of Trillions of dollars through the inflationary theft perpetrated by the Federal Reserve, our massive loss of personal liberties, the control of our government by the globalists and the bankster cartel, etc. So long as “American Idol,” “Survivor,” “Dancing with the Stars,” the Superbowl and the World Series are NOT interrupted by anything as trivial as a discussion about FREEDOM, nothing will ever change. Plenty are ready to stand up, but I doubt there is sufficient for critical mass. 12 years of government monopoly brainwashing and propaganda, combined with 24/7 of mainstream media propaganda, Social Media filtering of any real truth, etc. has left the bulk of the American populace (and the global populace) uneducated as to the ROOT CAUSE of their misery or the courage to face the ONLY solution to the problems.

At what point do people just say “enough” and begin dragging politicians, their media whores and assorted SJWs from their beds and hang them from lamp posts? I’ve no doubt such a point exists.

A Refusal to Mourn the Death, by Fire, of a Child in London
Dylan Thomas

Never until the mankind making
Bird beast and flower
Fathering and all humbling darkness
Tells with silence the last light breaking
And the still hour
Is come of the sea tumbling in harness

And I must enter again the round
Zion of the water bead
And the synagogue of the ear of corn
Shall I let pray the shadow of a sound
Or sow my salt seed
In the least valley of sackcloth to mourn

The majesty and burning of the child’s death.
I shall not murder
The mankind of her going with a grave truth
Nor blaspheme down the stations of the breath
With any further
Elegy of innocence and youth.

Deep with the first dead lies London’s daughter,
Robed in the long friends,
The grains beyond age, the dark veins of her mother,
Secret by the unmourning water
Of the riding Thames.
After the first death, there is no other.

For as much as I love The Burning Platform and its readers, it’s an echo chamber reinforcing our confirmation bias. Most of us here see the problem, but we are a dwindling minority afflicted by Complementary Projection Bias in which people think that more people share their beliefs and values than actually do. … //geroldblog.com/2016/12/10/complementary-projection-bias/

It takes only one generation of slaves to usher in everyone’s enslavement. I’m glad I never had children because I couldn’t have had enough to make a difference in the shit-show coming our way. In other words, we’re fucked. Sit back, weep and enjoy the spectacle. In the end, the barbarians always prevail because they’re willing to die for their insane beliefs and we aren’t.

Gerold speaks truth. A truth most of us don’t want to hear.

Figure out how to approach your relatives and friends who are not aware of what’s really going on, and tell them as much as you can, without passing the point where you will be ignored as a crank. Doing this once a week, even once a month, is worth more than 1000 witty comments on TBP.

I’ve been doing that for a little more than 15 years. Blog and other posts are a part of it.
Most individuals I talk to immediately think I’m a crank, or crazy, or a prepper, or most likely all three. Who cares?
The proof of concept comes when I find out someone has bought some canned food, a water filter, or their first firearm. Maybe it’s just a first-time comment about how fucked the government is.
I’m convinced the future will be an E-ticket ride, and I’m already in the car.
Might as well do what I can to enjoy (and survive) the ride.

Gerold has given up – shame on you Gerold!

I understand your premise of complementary projection bias – but we already know that.

I don’t post here to persuade others to my point of view, but rather to gain knowledge, share my knowledge, laugh a little, and to strengthen my position on various events.

Perhaps I will have more courage, when the second Civil War actually breaks out.

Good response, Dutch. Unlike Gerold, I’m not going to “sit back and weep”. That’s a coward’s position.

Transgressions by government must be spotlighted, no matter what the odds.

And no, barbarians don’t always prevail, Gerold.

So, what are you doing?

Specifically?

Posting on blogs where there is agreement with you and you only preach to the choir by doing it?

I’m refuting Gerold’s cowardly attitude. I make my arguments where I can to those like him who have no backbone. There is a cause still worth fighting for.

Act like a man instead of a pussy.

funny … because this is exactly what the MSM wanted the populace to believe about Trump when he was in the primaries…then again on the campaign trail …and now as president. Trump is turning out to be the same old song, which I had truly hoped he would not be BUT, his election represented a wave of people that felt similarly and would not be made to believe they were racist for being proud Americans! If one can be made to believe they are in a minority and their is no strength in their voice then they may remain silent.
No… we are not few… many just dont know how to go about an insurmountable task. The people hoped for a leader, Trump was that hope…but people should know one man may be turned in a govt that is deep and drunk with power and greed. But if such a leader rises and a pathway is cleared it will happen. Many have the will but standing out alone will only get one cut down; standing with a populace will create the turning.
Psych studies are theoretical suggestions as to why things seem as they are, but inevitably the variables are too numerous to pinpoint exact reasons as each circumstance that seems similar may yet turn out differently.

Do not dismiss the importance of what we are doing on TBP.

Better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. And are we all not responsible to do all we can to bring about the best possible outcomes? TBP has expanded it reach and audience – every little bit helps…

Despair is NOT an option!

The Jews (most of them) are just a portion of the open-borders, globalist, diversity-is-our-strength column. They punch above their weight because they’re so disproportionately active in politics, media & entertainment.

So how do you go to the next level after cursing? Spend your money in a way to avoid those who are ((screwing)) us over and ((ruining)) our world. That leaves out ((banking))…….so could you do it?

You can do some things. However, it’s probably best not to go into too many details….
Don’t go out of your way to tell the NSA about your preps. Let those who would disarm you under color of law find out to their sadness that you aren’t sheep.
When the Crunch comes, you will probably need several months’ worth of food, water purification, your own medicines and so forth. After the stupid and gullible starve, the occupation forces will have fewer targets – and being cheap, the owners will try to thin down the costs of occupation, so you may find belated allies among them.
In any case, have plans, supplies and positions to fall back to. Like-minded neighbors and close associations will help many survive, and your own skills should not be neglected.
The goal is to rebuild, and owe nothing to anyone who wants to own you.
